• Problems to connect a HP dual TV Tuner digital video recorder

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6700 notebook PC (product # KC313UA #ABA) & s been with windows 7. At home, I have dish network (hopper w / a joey). I have a HP Dual TV Tuner / Digital Video Recorder that I'm trying to connect it to my laptop. I understand to make the cable plug. But nothing comes up on the screen of the laptop. The orange light of TV Tuners. I looked up in the PDF file for the tuner, that means that some software is not installed. I bought the Tuner second hand, so if it came with the software in the area of the orginal, I don't have it. I don't know if this the reason that my lapto is no TV Tuner or that I went step by step what says the PDF for HP TV Tuner, so I think it's a software problem. Maybe a download for usb. But Windows Media does not receive a sygnal of the tuner. Could you tell me where to find the downloads that I need. As long as it free I can get them. Thank you for your help.

  If you have not changed the video card that you purchased your computer, you can visit the Dell Web site and use the service tag to determine the video card.

  In addition, you can locate the type of video card you have by the following text:

  -Click Start

  -Type Device Manager into the start menu search box, press enter

  -Develop graphics cards

  You must also obtain the appropriate driver from the Dell Web site and update your video card.

  The empty SightSpeed records record is a direct result of your Logitech Vid installation. The file is harmless and will remain empty unless the function to record video calls is implemented in Vid.

  It seems to be just a record created and will have nothing on the record unless you use the video recording option. You can test this information by recording a video call.

  I'll assume that the empty folder is not a problem.

• How can I get rid of the practice (news this morning) of messages that appear at the bottom of the Inbox message list when I don't want to see them?

  Until this morning, I could the cursor up and down on my list of the Inbox for messages I wanted to open (or delete without opening). Now, each message darn, the cursor stops on - or sometimes even just past above - appears below the line at the bottom of the list of messages. This means that I can't see so many messages listed at the same time as I could yesterday.
  I can get rid of the line (and the message that open automatically below) only by moving the cursor down on the line. I don't want to do that with every message that I make a break on or exceed. If I want to open a message, I'll open - it is not so difficult.
  I imagine that some people wanted this feature or that it would not have been installed. All I want is to be able to turn it off.

  There is no such feature added, because it would be ridiculous to implement.
  The problem you are experiencing is not a problem with Thunderbird.
  It is likely to be your mouse, mouse pad or keyboard.

  Emails do not open without a statement to open. That statement comes from the mouse, mouse pad, keyboard, then this is where to look.

  Either you're inadvertently clicking or your settings are too sensitive or maybe something is stuck, your mouse/keyboard mat is recording your action and act on it.
  Action comes from the mouse or carpets to mouse or keyboard and the computer includes an action is required and performs this action in Thunderbird.

  Determine if what you are doing when it occurs, what method to use and check the settings.

  I would go in your computer control settings to get for example: mouse pads
  and check the settings for sensitivity.

  If you use a mouse pad, it's too easy to press slightly harder and move cursor is interpreted as a left click. Check the sensitivity settings.
  Maybe your keyboard should be cleaned as keys become sticky.
  If you use a mouse, then make sure that your hands are not inadvertently pressing the buttons, the checksensitivity settings or maybe the mouse begins to fail, if not too sentive.

  Hello! Are you talking about the field of research on google.com? Or do you mean you see the words you have previously typed in? If it is this one:

  1. Click the form field, and then press the down arrow key to view all the recorded entries. You can type the first few letters of the entry to limit the number of entries is displayed.
  2. Use the arrow key down or the mouse pointer to select the entry you want to delete.
  3. Press SHIFT + DELETE. The entry will be deleted.

  Ask facebook or look at their support site, since you use their messenger app.

  Ive looked through the forums and found several things to try and so far here, ive not seen one that worked, I meant that before anything else. Has started yesterday when my just put Skype to update automatically, this has always bugged me and it annoyed me more that now he has a problem: my messages would not appear and be above previous texts im sure that you have experienced or heard about before. Skype seems to insist that each message that someone sends once I send my he should put the overtop of it, day (DAY > message.) DAY > message. DAY > message.) without showing my message of course. Now it's not even tell me when someone I messaged maybe Ive made a mistake in trying to solve this solution - but I uninstalled Skype several times and tried to reinstall but that hasent fixed anything. My computer restarts, doesn't solve anything.

  Ive heard that delete and or change your Skype folder name should work.

  I have both - change the name before you delete the record when the two were not working.

  Ive heard remove the config.xml file > This file did not exist.

  Ive heard if you change your time it might be turned off, I have not changed my time - it has happened when Skype was updated, and my time of Skype is the same as my computer time / same as the time and has always been.

  Ive heard to change the font size and I did this just cause, that the police was small - and that no longer works.

  ... So, I literally have no idea what to try now. Send me on a forum, if the problem is somewhere else really I dislike both I say the cause of the problem, its really starting to get annoying. For some more details I don't know if my Skype phone would also have something to do with what makes the issue worse, but it just seems to be on my computer so I do not think, but there must be some sort of solution. (Time on the phone and the computer is the same, of course)

  You need the codec appropriate to do so. I think that QuickTime can be read natively. Or you can search free converters to translate them into a format that WMP will play.

  2. are you able to play other video files on the computer?

  3 is the issue limited to the video file on the SD card?

  Most JVC Camcorders and video cameras record video clips with the MOD file extension. However, the files actually use much more common MPEG2 and MPEG-1 compression technology. By default, Windows Media Player cannot play a JVC Camcorder MOD files.

  Windows Media Player does not support. Files MOD. see the following article for confirmation.

  I suggest that rename you the extension is a mod in .mpg and check.

  I suggest you use your favorite search engine and the search for the program that converts files is a mod.

  Your best bet is to switch to 8.1, that allows you to boot directly to the desktop, and then use a menu like debut8 to replace the old Start Menu and hide the side of the metro.

  If your computer comes with Win Pro 8, you may be able to demotion, otherwise, you will need to buy 7. Before you buy 7, I would recommend go to the computer manufacturer's website and see if there are any Windows 7 drivers for your computer. You may lose certain functions - sound, network, video full resolution - if there is no driver.
