• How can you change the length of the timeline in 15 seconds?

  I've been long looking and it's maybe a stupid question, but I am helpless. I have a 15 second video in first pro, but the time line will continue until 02:30. I tried everything I could for example change the General settings, but I can't change the timeline during... Is there anyone who knows how is it? And it can easily explain? Thank you in advance!

  No matter how "long" the timeline is - you can use the + and - to zoom in and out. What is important is the CLIPS that you have added to the timeline, from the left. If your clips just go to the 15 second mark, you export your video, the exported clip will be only 15 seconds, depending on the media on the timeline - it does not export the "white" areas to the right of the last clip. So, it doesn't matter. You think perhaps to After Effects, where you set the time to the Composition.

  It was simple in Captivate 1 but I can't adjust the length of a slide using my mouse to drag the end of the slide bar on the timeline. I get a double cursor arrow complete but never the parallel vertical lines, I used Captivate 1.
  
  Sometimes I hit it just as it should and it moves, but I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled or disabled?

  Hi Arronax1 and welcome to our community

  I've seen a few reports of this as having witnessed myself on the student PC. I'm not sure why, but it seems that some PC configurations are simply shifted this way with Captivate 2. For that I saw myself, you might be able to click and drag a time off maybe 6 trials. So if that's the case for you, it's perhaps easier to change the properties of the slide and adjust the length of this way.

  To grasp at straws for a solution, have you by any chance tried update of Flash Player on your PC? If this isn't the case, maybe try that? You can do the update of the player by visiting www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

  If for some strange reason, which seems to be a fix and do things behave, please post back so that others can benefit.

• Questions mounting clips merged on the timeline

  Hello

  I have problems when I want to edit merged clips by dragging the in - or out-point directly on the timeline.

  Premiere Pro pauses - and sometimes even crashes and freezes the preview (see attached screendump) and displays the timecode for clips

  I tried a lot of things: make the new sequence, copied all the clips of new timeline in the new file, deleted all the effects etc, even though I have unlink audio and video is happening in the video that have been merged...? If I do the same thing with video clips not merged everything works like a charm...

  When I try to load a text file data using sqlldr, I get the following errors on some files that do not charge.

  Looking at the actual data and count the characters for the data of the "CONSCIOUS" column, I see that it is basically a little more of 1000 characters.
  
  So try various ideas to solve the problem, I tried to change to "tank" nls_length_semantics and re-create the table, but this does not always helped and always got the same errors of loading data on the same lines.
  
  
  Then, I changed back to byte nls_length_semantics and recreated the table again.
  This time, I have changed the table manually as:

• Navigate the timeline with timecode question

  Hi all...

  I am an Avid user looking at first for some projects.  So last night I was watching a tutorial the selected tutorialist the timeline (clicked inside) and then entered a timecode, which automatically selected display timecode in this Panel, he hit then enter and the CTI jumped to timecode.

  He said that it was not necessary to select the timecode display.  There is also several times.  He was using CS5... I have CS5.5.

  It does not work for me.  It would be great if this was the case.  I like to use the mouse as little as possible.

  Does anyone have more information on this feature?  Does really?  Was it only CS5?

  If you want to enter timecode directly without clicking the timecode display, you have to use the keypad. The standard numbers above the letter keys keys will not work to enable the timecode field. You can click on it and then use the numeric keys, but the +/-and 0-9 keys themselves not to activate the direct entry field.

  Why it sends me in trouble? It's simple. I imported a 30 minute video in my area of projects. I just want to take all of the video in my calendar. I note the entire clip, but when I drag in the timeline, it spread like the whole video I can do the necessary editing, audio settings, timing, etc. Instead, when you drag in the timeline, the entire video is contained in a cell. Two questions: how to drag the video in the timeline so that it lasts, without doing it section by section by section, and how I can extend it the video of that one cell that contains the 30 minute video.   The cursor to the left of 'Settings' control the time scale of the timeline.  Move to the right to extend the clip:

  

  A cell (thumbnail) actually contains the entire video.  You will get more when you expand the timescale.

  After the end of my second day of test error, I put this question on the table:

  I use ArraytoChannels function to store ADO recordsets as strings. What is strange, is that for the first Recordset, it works; but for the next time through the loop, it always fails with the error message 'cannot be added because the channels of the target are not all the same length.

  I confirmed that:

  the RowData sizes and the ChannelNames are equal,

  both spend the isarray = true test,

  I change the order of the ChannelNames,.

  I have reconnected/disconnected from the oConnexion every time, nothing has changed.

  Apparently I'm missing something - but crazy to know what! -If anyone can share his opinion I'll so much appriciate. Here is my code:

  Another clue. If you check using DIAdem

  Microsoft Windows Script Debugger

  you are able to install the debugger in DIAdem.

  It would potentially have shown that the command does not work as expected.

• Thick vertical black line on the entire length of the page

  I have a HP LaserJet M1530 MFP Series PCL 6.  When I print normally there is no mistake in the image, but when I make a copy I have a thick vertical black line on the entire length of the page. The black line is about 2 inches from the left edge of the page. The problem is older than the current drum cartridge which was just replaced a couple of months. Never, the problem occurs with a normal printing, copy only and occurs with every copy without exception. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

• Windows Movie Maker - releasing only audio, is it possible to publish the exact length of the audio and does not include the lot of silent at the end?

  Windows Movie Maker - have 6 minutes of audio spliced, I would like to publish in the form of an audio clip with no video.  I heard that this is possible, and it all works, the 'framework' includes 6 more minutes of space without air circulation that gets compiled with the planned 6 minutes of audio matching 12 minutes of audio rather than the 6 minutes.  Is it possible to MovieMaker 'See' the end of my audio instend, to include 12 minutes in length with it default?  Should I include photos or video for the project to publish only 6 minutes, instead of the 12 minutes?   I hope this makes sense...

  I assume you are using Vista Movie Maker 6 and not Live Movie Maker?

  It is a problem that I've not seen before... the recorded length must be equal
  at times combined clips on the timeline. I guess it's possible
  If you've done a lot of editing/trimming clips... something was corrupted.

  I was wondering... If you import the .wma file saved in Movie Maker and drag
  it to the timeline... it shows the clip as being the length of 12 minutes? If it isn't...
  Perhaps you could he split and right click Delete unwanted 6 minutes and
  then re-save.

  Divide... drag the playback at the end of the music and the type indicator... CTRL + L
  .. .to split the file then right-click of the unwanted part and click on delete.

  Tip: Unlike clips video... audio clips can be dragged to the timeline, so don't forget
  they are dragged all the way to the left to prevent air from dead at the beginning or
  between the clips.

  It may be worth trying to go to... Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and the left click
  the "All default settings" button before the Save.

  And... If the clips audio source are not the. WMA format... it could be a useful
  try to convert them to WMA before you import into Movie Maker.

• Source audio not available on the timeline of the program

  I'm editing sequences blocking pieces, that I have already edited.  However, when I select the titles that I want on my side source, they are not available on my calendar program on the map.  If I run the cut audio tracks come from an arbitrarily on titles that are not necessary.

  This Jpeg shows my calendar source. You can see that I have chosen the V1, 2, 3. A1-11 also.

  

  On my side of the source, I see v-4 and not a single audio track. If I turn on the icon at the top right of the timeline he sometimes changes my video tracks but the sound at all.

  

  RESOLVED (I think).  This is a bug.  I open older versions and this question was not there - if you look at the jpeg timeline below you can see two open sequences that no matter what titles are in one are available in the other for editing (in contrast to the picture in my first post).  Look at the left column in the first post and this one.

  According to my experience, it is yet another bug on the sound side with the disappearance of the waveforms and audio track names disappearing.

  The question is perhaps will be these corrected?  I see people who write on the waveforms disappearing go back at least 2103.

  In my case the "simple"solution is to revert to a previous version and do about 5 hours of work."  If anyone has a solution more simple I'm all ears. Maybe I do something wrong, that would be good to know, but I really can't think of any changes that I did it would affect.
