• The disk queue length

  I have a dell inspiron 3520, windows 8. I had windows update problems, and I can't update to windows 8.1. I can not reset or refresh windows 8. I was checking different things on my laptop and I went into advanced system tools and generated a system health report, and I got this warning: the average disk queue length is 3. The disc may be its maximum transfer due to the flow capacity and disk seeks. What does that mean? I would be very happy any help I can get with that.

  AVG. disk queue length. logical disk or physical disk, to determine the number of i/o requests in the queue for the service. Note that this may overestimate the actual length of the queue, because the meter includes requests queued waiting and continuous training. If the average disk queue length is greater than two times the number of batteries, then you are probably developing a bottleneck. With a set of volumes, a queue that is never more short the number of active physical disks that you develop a bottleneck.

  We are currently troubleshooting problem in our environment, and a step which was recommend is to check the length of queue CPU to our guests.  Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this in ESX 4i.  Can anyone help by explaining the steps to access this information?

  Hello Andrea, just connect to your server via ssh esxi or use the direct console (DCUI), in which case you use the DCUI by pressing alt + F1 which will open the shell it will look like this:

  

  In case you don't use esxi 4.1 that you enter not 'supported '.

  Once you are in the shell, follow this procedure:

  step 1-. Enter the command: esxtop

  step 2-. Press the letter 'c' (it will change your point of view to CPU stats).

  

  step 3-. Once you are on the view of stas CPU hit the 'V' (capital V) which will filter your cpu stats just for vm (process) worlds.

  

  the % RDY is the length of the queue for the processor (means that vm waiting to be programmed on a procesor/core). in this way, you can check the length of queue of cpu on your virtual machines, to the previous view (view CPU), you can check the % RDY for system services.

  on this machine, I have 2 comments to a single server running SBS 2008 and the other Server 2008 STD x 64 with SQL 2008 installed

  I have a problem with my SQL 2008 X 64 STD performance. He works a small base SQL (4 GB) for a saving program.

  If all the settings are the same, then the question is probably internal to the SOUL, which means that you will need a work around. First, check the updates to ensure you have the latest versions of first and SOUL. If the problem persists, here are a few alternatives to get the same effect:

  -Replace the effect melted with opacity keyframes ranging from 100% to 0% at the end of each clip, and 0% to 100% and at the beginning of the next clip. Or,

  -Create a title consisting of a large black rectangle. Place the title on the timeline over the end of each clip where you want to dissolve. Adjust the length according to the cases and the keyframe of the opacity of 0% to 100% at the end of the clip title and back down to 100% to 0% at the beginning of the element following, if you wish. This title can be copied and placed on each location where you want the effect of dissolution - to-black.

  TRIM affects the expressions in your SELECT clause. It has nothing to do with the padding of SQL * Plus adds to align the columns upwards.

  Here's a way to make the main request:

  This will include spaces only if they occur in first or last. Depending on your data and your requriements, you may need to use the FILLING (first) instead of the first, and/or TRIM (finally) instead of the last.

  Using this technique, it does not matter what is COLSEP: the query produces a single column.

  Use the SQL * more order

  I try to print from the web browser firefox or a pdf document and files will not be not print and are removed from the queue after about 30 seconds. I tried the browser google chrome and they print well from there. This problem just started today.

  Make sure that you do not print in a file selected and the correct printer is selected. You can see these settings in the "native print dialog" window when you do {Ctrl + P}.

• How to cancel print jobs in the queue? Model: HP Laserjet 3055

  I wanted to print a book of 200 pages of my laptop, so I pluged in the printer to the computer laptop and hurry to print on laptop. Then immediately decided not to print it, then I pressed cancel on the printer. But labour has not at all been cancelled. Whenever I try to print something it always starts with the work that I wanted to cancel initially. And on the laptop, the message block asking you if I want to add to the print queue.

  I would like to cancel the work that is placed into the queue of the printer for good, if someone can advise please help me, very desperate!

  Hello

  In Control Panel, open administrative tools and select abuse.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the tasks within this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

  Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.
