AMQP queue length

I would like to create a simple script that returns the length of all the queues defined AMQP broker given.  Is there a method to get a length of queue AMQP via AMQP Plugin VCO?

Thank you

Management and monitoring are not part of the AMQP standard. It's so they are not part of the plugin. However, all providers provide a kind of management or supervision of the API. If you use RabbitMQ you activate the plugin management as described in http://www.rabbitmq.com/management.html.

Then, you can use the HTTP-REST query api endpoint served by the management plugin (http://hg.rabbitmq.com/rabbitmq-management/raw-file/rabbitmq_v2_8_2/priv/www/api/index.html) plug-in

I have a dell inspiron 3520, windows 8. I had windows update problems, and I can't update to windows 8.1. I can not reset or refresh windows 8. I was checking different things on my laptop and I went into advanced system tools and generated a system health report, and I got this warning: the average disk queue length is 3. The disc may be its maximum transfer due to the flow capacity and disk seeks. What does that mean? I would be very happy any help I can get with that.

    Thank you

AVG. disk queue length. logical disk or physical disk, to determine the number of i/o requests in the queue for the service. Note that this may overestimate the actual length of the queue, because the meter includes requests queued waiting and continuous training. If the average disk queue length is greater than two times the number of batteries, then you are probably developing a bottleneck. With a set of volumes, a queue that is never more short the number of active physical disks that you develop a bottleneck.

Figure 8.8 shows a bottleneck of disk with high disk usage and a long queue.

  • high avg disk queue length

    Hello..

I just installed a VMware ESXI 4.0 on my IBM M2 Server (7947-ZGA).

on this machine, I have 2 comments to a single server running SBS 2008 and the other Server 2008 STD x 64 with SQL 2008 installed

I have a problem with my SQL 2008 X 64 STD performance. He works a small base SQL (4 GB) for a saving program.

When I run a test of READING/WRITING in the saving program is slow compared to the server that was running in the database before

If look at the performance monitor on the high SQL im expering avg disk queue length.

the server is installed with 16 GB of ram, 8Gbg is committed to each guest.

the server is installed with 2 the 4 physical CPU cores are committed to each guest

the server is installed with 8 disks SAS

system disk 2 disk (RAID1) (two comments are installed on the)

sharing data on disk (RAID5) 3, Exchange database on the SBS server and SQL for SQL server database.

share data on disk (RAID5) 3, NEWSPAPER Exchange on the SBS server and log SQL for SQL server.

There is that 30-35 users on the net, so Exchange DB and DB SQL on the same disks should not be a problem, I think.

enyone who has an idea to set the avg disk queue length?

Is this the same physical disk configuration that you used for the physical versions of these installs?

If you find this information useful, please give points to "correct" or "useful".

  • Subscribe to the vRA AMQP queue

    Hi guys,.

So we start with vRA 7.0, the cycle of life and other stuff managed using events (AMQP) - yaye!

I wonder if it is possible for external services save the earpiece of the als to this queue.

For example, enter vRO to the workflow queue and relaxation based on events of vRA vRA. I've tried using ports default AMQP without success.

    Any ideas?

For now, you can't. Not sure whether it is a limitation of the license and the distribution of rabbitMQ.

  • Foglight | Monitoring Exchange | EXC replication copy queue length

    Hello

    Scope of the rule: EXCReplication

Scope the object: No available instances

I am unable to run the report query for this rule due to no avilable instance.

    I've attached screenshots

    Hello

I am trying to understand the problem here.

Foglight comes with lots of rules out of the box for a large number of items.

If the element is there, and the data is there, the rule kicked in and verify the information (that's the idea behind DATA driven rules).

If the item or data are not there, there is no reason to run the rule.

  • OEM 12 c reports average load (queue length) * core * is this really the right way?

I just noticed on our exadata load average was way high school (from our normal) at 40 + as seen above and availability. I was curious why OEM does not have this flag.

I got alerts defined for report > 20. Well it turns out that oem metric is the average load by heart for only 40 + is only a 1.68 metric table.

This should really be * core * when all of the unix tools show the cumulative?

Would be useful if it was compatible with the native tools.

Reflection... it does not make sense... Looking at the models that I can not simply put '20' in there because may represent a valid threshold for a box of 20 + cpu, but makes no sense for a box of cpu 2. Where '1' may represent an acceptable threshold for a box of 20 cpu or cpu box 2. When it's an average load of 1 * CPU *.

is there a way to get what it's worth and the value via powercli?

You can follow the instructions in KB1267.

And to do this for PowerCLI, you can use something like this

    $esx = Get-VMHost -Name MyEsx

    $esxcli = Get-EsxCli -VMHost $esx

    # List the current value$esxcli.system.module.parameters.list("qla2xxx") | where {$_.Name -eq "ql2xmaxqdepth"}

    # Set the new value$esxcli.system.module.parameters.set($false,"qla2xxx","ql2xmaxqdepth=64")

The code example assumes a QLogic HBA card, if you have another type of update accordingly.

Should I just get a new computer for repair?

    Thank you

Which does not resemble any panic report I've ever seen

Reports of kernel panic: "/ Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports".

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/ht2546>

The panic report should have "panic" in the name of the file.

If you encounter a lot of panic, take the 2 or 3 most recent and post them as separate answers.

Have you installed the anti-virus packages.  They are the number 1 software of panic cause.

Also, please post the EtreCheck output

  • Sluggish Qosmio F60 with Office 2007

    Hello world

    I have a new Qosmio F60 (i7, 4 GB of RAM, 1 GB graphics GT330) running Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

It works fine, but when I have a document open in Microsoft Word 2007, the computer runs very slow, with long delays, for example when switching between applications with alt - tab or by clicking on the taskbar at the bottom. It only seems to happen when I first just open word (ie. with "Document1"), but once I open another file or type text, it slows down to a crawl. I opened these documents without any problem on another computer. Word itself isn't slow when that happens, but around switching and do things like moving files in windows Explorer are very tedious.

Initially, I had a 32-bit version of Home premium installed, but this would freeze every hour or so, then reloaded the 64-bit home premium since the partition of hard drive recovery.

Any ideas on the reasons of the computer is so laggy? Don't think that I needed a PC range to be able to type a word document, and open a web browser at the same time...

    Kind regards
    Dennis

Unfortunately, I have two problems that you can watch in... but no solutions!

First of all, your likely Nvidia graphics card suffers the Nvidia powermizer DPC latency problems that cause the slower the computer each time changes on the GPU clock speed. NVIDIA claims to have solved the problem, but we don't see until they release their next regular update. Hope that Toshiba makes the driver available as soon as its ready! You can find a lot more people with the problem of Nvidia in the Satellite A series forum:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=49337&TSTART=0

Second, is a huge problem with hard disk queue length. You will find that your computer runs lightning fast of complex calculations, but slows to a crawl, every time that you run simple programs that spend a lot of time communicating with the hard drive... as an office. Try opening the Windows - resource monitor task manager and look at the length of queue disk when your computer slows down. Anything above 2 indicates a bottleneck between CPU and hard drive (my disk queue length happens occasionally when 10 multitasking!). I don't know if this is related to the Nvidia problem or if there is another reason why communicating with the hard drive is so slow. The Toshiba satellite that I use for work does not suffer from this problem and has the same type of hard disk (even if a smaller size). Furthermore, you have the 640 GB HDD?

If you find that you don't have the problem of disk queue length, make sure that you call the assistance of Toshiba on this topic. Most people report, the better chance we all have to fix!

  • Ran Diagnostic Report/average line of the disc is 2

About 2 weeks ago, I upgraded my Vista laptop to 1 GB. It works perfectly, but I ran a Diagnostic report and it showed in the information Section that average disk queue length was 1. I did a defragment disks and changed it to 2, but I still get the same message informtional, now with 2 instead of 1.

Should I do something else because it works well? The only change I noticed is that I had to close it with the button yesterday because the screen was grey long after many updates of Windows. He opens normally today and made a few configuration. I got scared when I saw the screen after seeing some comments on a Blue Screen of Death or something like that, but I'm sure it was gray not only blue.

    Thank you

    AG

    Hi Ana,

Length of queue Disk Avg... This counter is in fact closely related to the % disk time counter. This counter converts a decimal value to the % disk time and displays. This counter will be necessary at the time where the disk configuration employs several controllers for several physical disks. In these cases, the overall performance of the disk IO system, which consists of two controllers, could exceed that of an individual disk. So, if you look at the % disk time counter, you would see only a value of 100%, which represent the total potential of the entire system, but only that he had reached the potential of a single record on a single controller. The actual value may be at 120%, which displays the Avg. disk queue length counter. 1.2.

The tab disk in the resource monitor (Start - Run - Resmon, or just the button resource monitor in the performance of the Task Manager tab) will show the disk of process activity to help understand this specific process is causing so much disk activity.

    The monitoring queue length

    Shiva,

A field, you can see the properties of a type of topology is in tools-> Console of Script and then select a type of topology, and then select an instance to see.  The property values for the instance will appear.

  • Problems with PerfMon - cannot add counters

Hello everyone.  I registered just to ask this question, which I couldn't find after a long time consult Google.  I come to you in the hope that when Google has failed, you will not!

I use a program that some of you may be familiar, called Samurize (http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/), who does a lot of things; what I use for most allowed, in a blink of an eye, discern my CPU usage, RAM usage, information network, availability, hard disk space and my schedule on the calendar, among other things.  I know it is an old program and I know that it was designed for Windows 2000/XP, but it worked without a hitch (not including this one) on Vista and Windows 7.

Recently, however, the ability to monitor CPU, RAM, upload and speed of download and availability has disappeared; all of them give me a flatline, statement I use no internet at all or my computer also (with the exception of availability, which reports that I have been on my computer for 49 days, 17 hours, 2 minutes and 47 seconds... he refuses to go to the top!).  Initially I thought it was a problem with the program.  It is not; It has something to do with Perfmon.  When I load perfmon.exe through the box run, it loads up with an error that says:

    "Cannot add these counters:

    \Memory\Available MB
    \Memory\% committed bytes used
    Defects of \Memory\Cache/s
    Defects of \Memory\Cache/s
    Time to \%Idle \PhysicalDisk (*)
    \PhysicalDisk (*) \Avg disk queue length
    \Network interface (*) \Bytes Total/sec.

This isn't me accidentally say the same thing twice... it says what I typed on verbatim. [Edit:] Just remembered: other system monitors are perfectly fine.  Of course the Task Manager works well, but gadgets seem to work fine in my use of RAM and CPU, as well as my download balance sheet and download speeds. [/ Edit]

It's pretty much the sum of my progress on the problem.  I found this page (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/300956), which seems like it might solve the problem... but being a lazy man boned, I hope that there is a simpler solution than that, those who are not "reformat".

    Any other relevant information:

    Windows 7 x 64 professional
    Updated with all official updates
Recently spent Wi - Fi cable (apart from that, I can't thing of any change that I did with my computer)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello SensaiOpti,

I had the same problem. A level that your pointers to the perfmon counters are damaged, you must re-create these with LODCTR from an elevated command prompt:

Click Start, type cmd click right cmd.exeand select run as administrator.
At the prompt, type lodctr /r and press ENTER. This allows to repair the pointers (those that are stored in the registry).

    C:\Windows\System32>lodctr/r

Info: Rebuilt successfully setting from system backup store performance counter

After this action, it is possible that some providers are disabled. You can check the status with lodctr/q.

    C:\Windows\System32>lodctr/q
    Performance counter ID queries [PERFLIB]:
    Based index: 0 x 00000737 (1847)
    Last counter text ID: 0 x 00001560 (5472)
    Last help text ID: 0 x 00001561 (5473)

[.NET CLR data] Performance counters (activated)
    DLL name: netfxperf.dll
    Open the procedure: OpenPerformanceData
    Collect the procedure: CollectPerformanceData
    Close the procedure: ClosePerformanceData
    First counter ID: 0 x 00001080 (4224)
    Last counter ID: 0x0000108C (4236)
    First help ID: 0 x 00001081 (4225)
    Last help ID: 0x0000108D (4237)

    etc.

If she says (disabled) next to a provider, you can activate it with lodctr/e:. Use for the string between the [] at the beginning of the entry.

  • Very slow performance with Windows 7 on i7 Quad

I bought my wife a Lenovo E530 i7 quad with screen 1600 x 900 and running Win 7 in September 2012. Previously, she had an Asus Core 2 Duo also with Win 7. The laptop is used to picture (scanning, editing, cataloging) work, family, the navigation and email history.

The E530 was desperately slow at the beginning. Not better, not faster than the Asus. Performance seems to vary from slow to excruciatingly slow.

    Features include:

    -very slow to open programs

-slow to react to the choice of menus and clicks

-slow to react to the touchpad

-scrolling is not smooth, vibrates, much worse than Asus

-often distorts the sound and video, audio stutters

-IE9 make often video has properly - green band across the bottom with the rest of the colors shifted upward - change the video quality will fix it sometimes

-very slow internet response compared to the other machines on the same network of navigation.

However, startup speed seems to be OK.

I spent weeks (months?) through the forums, verification of updates, deletion and restoration of various programs and drivers looking for driver clashes. I tried the clean boot with only Windows drivers and various other combinations, and it made no difference.

For a long time wifi would be max 54 Mbps but somewhere through the process he begins to operate at up to 300Mbps.

Nothing seems to stand out in reports on health of the system and the event viewer. Windows experience scores seem to be everything I expected from my older i7.

Resources and performance monitor reports a problem with the hard drive:

The average disk queue length = Max 16 = 106

    %Idle = 0

    Disk read/s Ave = 0.093 Max = 3

    Disk sec/Transfer Ave = 0,067 Max = 1

    Disk s/write = 0.022 Ave

Even when the computer runs slower the CPU usage, and memory usage is not mounted and ceiling ever.

SFC report any breach of integrity.

FixIt MS - slow performance does not detect any problems.

The disk check is not a problem any.

It's so frustrating that my wife threatens to throw it in the trash and buy a Mac (the horrors :-)).

Any ideas on what I might have missed or what I should look at?

    Thank you

    Ken

Wish I had a 128 GB SSD. I suppose you see a serious helping hand to the performance of the system.

Please do not forget to mark the answer.

  • With VFoglight 6.1 process monitoring

    Hello
I'm trying to get more watched through the console of VFoglight. Anyone who has gone through or have seen a way to do this?

    Description

    Meaning

    1

    CPU - % time processor

The percentage of time processor used for user processes or transactions as opposed to sitting idly CPU system

More use of the processor, more processors are used the user to process or system transactions

    2

    System - Processor queue length

The number of threads waiting for processor

The higher the queue, the more threads waiting on processors to process instructions on the CPU

    3

    Memory - Pages/sec

    Pages, reading and writing memory

More the memory usage, processes are too busy in memory

    4

Paging file-% of use for _Total

The percentage of all page files that are in use

More use of the swap file, more memory is needed to support the system exceeds the physical memory on the server

    5

Physical disk - AVG. disk queue length.

The number of read and write requests pending for the physical disk subsystem

More average disk queue length, the more resources are waiting for previous applications to the end before responding to their request

    6

SqlServer: General statistics - user connections

The number of users of the system

The more users indicates that the server is unable to load system

    7

    Network bytes/s interface

The bytes sent and received via a single network adapter

Determine if excessive network traffic occurs on a network card, or if the system has isolated problems on the SQL Server with no network traffic

    8

SQL Server: locks - waiting for latches/sec - _Total

The application of lock waits per second

Determine if an excessive blocking is limited to resources for users to access the system

    9

    System - Threads

The number of threads on the computer

Determine if the number of threads exceeds the typical reference level that indicates more than process are occurring on the system

    10

    System - Changes of context/s

The number of processes that are changing threads per second

The change of context, plus the server is stressed

    Thank you
    Paresh

    Paresh,
have you watched or read the documentation on the physical operating system followed by cartridges and what they can provide for you? You must have vFoglightPro to use them, but they might be what you're looking for.

  • Need help to create a storage report/monitoring

    vFoglight V 6.1

So our storage has been really slow lately by some of our virtual machine crawl. Whenever I talk to our team of storage, that they speak for EMC and the answer is BUY new more fast/drives or take VM off the LUNS are getting slammed. Well that's fine, but now I have a few LUNS with more space free 300Gig because they can not will not try and work with me to find a solution.
I need to create a report and monitor my LUN so that they show that last year the "slowness" was getting worse. Just storage model reports show stats 'space' unless I'm not totally see models of storage performance.
Y at - there someone here who can lead me in the right direction to create reports of storage/performance problems? Is there some sort of pre canned reports, I do not see or a 'cartridge', I'm missing here?
I'd love some help here... Thank you

    Hello
The reason why you get n/a, it is that the data do not exist. Queue length data are only available once we deployed agents OS like VMware does not provide this in a meaningful way (I am happy check if you can show me otherwise) monitoring. Disk latency information should however be available but only for the host ESX 4 and vCenter 2.5 U4 and later as this was the point where she became exposed.
    .
I also encourage you to take a look at vFoglight storage, if you want to enter more deeply into the fabric of storage.
