The R410 with Perc 6i upgrade

I'm moving my R410 with Perc 6i for Raid5 card. I have 4 SATA drives which are wired (no hot-swap/back plate). Can anyone confirm which cable (part number) I need to connect the disks to the Perc card? I read "T008P" in other threads but you can't find that anywhere the cable companies.

This doesn't seem to be a reference number based in the United States, which probably explains the exorbitant prices and lack of availability.

That you linked to are also SAS cables (power and data)-they also accept SATA drives, but they are not necessary if you plan never to use SATA drives.

  • Issues with the modem with XP Pro after upgrading from xp family

    I upgraded to XP Pro and cannot create a dial-up connection because this option is not available for me. I checked the Microsoft support pages and enabled dial-up as suggested by using regedit.
    Still no difference. So I guess that the modem or the modem settings are the problem. Ive tried to download the driver couldn't get one for xp pro.can someone tell me the necessary driver for xp pro

    In Control Panel, if I go to phone options and modem, I see "Toshiba Software modem AMR COM4" but, if I go into the settings of the Modem in Control Panel, I get the message that the modem is not installed correctly and I have to uninstall and reinstall.     I'm sorry, but you will need a Windows 9 x / ME drive to provide during the XP installation from the XP disc is a version upgrade. There is no way around that. See if you can find a friend with an older operating system disk (not a recovery disk) to support qualification.     I uninstalled Windows Live Essentials. I felt that I should not uninstall the updates of security, and the Defender update can not be uninstalled. It made no difference.

    When you buy a new computer with a Microsoft Windows OS installed at the factory, it is an OEM version.  Unlike retail versions that you can buy in the store, the OEM versions are no longer valid on the first computer it's installed and activated on.  In addition, the Windows Vista license must stay on the computer, as will be the basis to install an 'upgrade' of Windows 7 version.  Without this license Windows Vista installed, you must rather a license of Windows 7 more expensive "full version".     If you purchase a Windows 7 Upgrade license it is transferable to another computer as it is a retail license and retail licenses are transferable to different computers.  You can only use one of the levels of two bits (32 or 64) of Windows 7 at the same time.  In other words, you cannot use the license for two computers at the same time, a 32-bit and 64-bit.  It works just like that.

    I have a PE R210 w/PERC H200.  The RAID configuration is RAID 1 2 HD.  I was looking at options to increase the storage capacity.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I read that it is not possible to extend the VFD by improving each hd one at a time to rebuild the RAID VD, then its extension to occupy unused space in HD.  There is no other HD slots available on the R210, along with options to do I have if I want to keep the current VD but increase the storage space on the server?

    I have Windows 7 Home Premium and bought a Windows Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. After extraction in the online store, I got a download link and product key.
