  I I learn Oracle Apex and finished some OBEs thereon. I'm very excited about the platform and love. But a lot of questions come to mind.
  
  As I understand it, a workspace, is a 'place' to develop applications and release and from this workspace, I can export an application to deploy on another server, but I don't see any option on what tables must be exported.
  
  In a space of work/scheme, can I have more than one app, and I don't see where you define the tables that belong to each application.
  
  I see no more, how upgrade works. If I have deployed an application on a client, and I need to upgrade, update the database, without loss of data is automatically?
  
  Another thing I don't have very good, understad is about installing the runtime.

  Paintings and objects from database that must be treated separately from the application. If you look at the SQL workshop in the generator of the Apex, there are tools to export database object.

  You can have one or more schemas by workspace. And an application can use no matter what patterns are available in the workspace or whether the workspace schema has been granted through the grants database diagrams.

  Export application can be completely (most of the time) independent of the data and database objects. If you change the structure of your database objects with your upgrade of the application, then you must update the database objects so that the application can run. All features of the application depend on the Exchange database will not work.

  Another thing I don't have very good, understad is about installing the runtime.

  The runtime installation does basically not any changes to the application definition after installation. You must keep an independent site where you make the development or modification of your application. Deploying a runtime application is not reversible, which means that you can change it to an editable application once you have set it as run-time only.

I get a message that Windows File Protection is! and he says that "files which are required for Windows to run properly must be copied into the DLL cache" that I know, but I do not know why this has happened... I tried to disable using "regedit" in the run screen and it did not help... I need help with fixing this.   Thanks to all who tried to help, it means a lot!  I have no idea what happens but I tried to run a complete scan with antivirus program McAfee I was BTW it was free because of the internet service gave to me to be a customer with them, (I guess they have an ongoing case) not much of a cause I had nothing else problems with McAfee all for about 5 years and they are so much better programs out there (to new my opinion) but on with my story so whenever I tried to run a full scan or fast he rode every time error cannot start scan try again and so on, so I called them and they could not understand what the problem was and finally reinstalled but it doesn't work and of course they wanted me to buy a version... So I said forget it and went with one of the best Antivirus out there (my opinion only) programs free and it scanned and found some articles ad and he never came back! So I'm lucky so far and happy! Once again thanks to Jose @ and @ John for help and getting back to me, that shows the high level of awareness and dedication... So thank you to you two! I have no idea of what the problem was I think that he had with the Ad-ware and anti virus program does not properly and somehow obtained a "bug" If you want to. I was wondering something quick you guys like Avast Internet security because I've had some people said he is well worth and had some interesting features, I personally put AVG but I was wondering about obtaining notice!   I feel a little frustration here and I hope that you can help out me. I have two main projects, a very large and the other more. Each master project has subprojects merged with them. I pledge my CHM regularly and generates files associated with Subversion for the 'master to build' can add to the various product test (and ultimately the production relies). Is one of the types of files that I was including the. CHW file type. It is my understanding that it is a file type required for the final project to display all of the keywords all merged projects index.
  
  I have one of the developers who said that this type of file was never included in any of the memories of my predecessor before and it don't think it's necessary. I thought of compiling a project of merge and delete the. File CHW to see what is happening, but there must be an easier way.

  My understanding is that the CHW file is created only when a merged CHM is opened. If a user opens a merged CHM, CHW file is created, because it contains the merged index. So it is not necessary to be placed in a source control database, or be supplied with the application.

  You could test this by installing your CHM merged on another PC, then open it. You should see a CHW file that is created in the same directory.

  I have my version of the application in the APEX on 10.2.0.4 databases that now I want to migrate to 11.2. Name of the schema in the back of my application is DBADMIN. What I did is, I just exported my current apex on 10.2.0.4 request and tried to import on my 11.2 but this is for me the following error message

  There is no need to install the runtime Environment when installed the full development environment, what you were doing with @apexins (it says in step 6: Select the option to install appropriate). That's enough.

  Proceed to the next steps of the installation.

  Is it possible to get all the objects with a dependency on an apex application? I need the list of all the objects (Tables, views, MViews, procedures, functions, Packages etc.) even if they are referenced in the process page, postings or even in the security of the page.

  I tried to object dependencies Application and database object dependencies report, but it seems that it does not cover the validations and the process of the page. Please confirm that as well.

  My apex version is 3.2

  Support for APEX 3.2 expired in February 2012, so it is strongly recommended to upgrade to take advantage of the multitude of new features introduced in 4.x and 5.0, and most important to get all the security enhancements added since 2009.

  I don't have access to an instance of 3.2 at the present time, however the report dependencies of APEX 5.0 database is showing objects referenced in process, Validations, Conditions and authorisation schemes. If it has been improved since the 3.2, so it clearly is another good reason to upgrade.

  If you find that dependencies for database report does not meet your needs, then you can create your own tool by using queries custom views of the APEX.

  If it becomes a business tier application, it must be generated using the level technology company, such as the authorisation schemes, VPD to the multi-tenant data to be stored in the same tables and sturdy PL/SQL API for the maintenance of the data rather than the process Assistant APEX.

  Authorisation schemes are of no use in restricting access to the data, they are used to control access to the APEX application components. You can use authorization to control if a user sees a report from the region, but not the rows that are displayed in the report. To do this you must use VPD or views (note that separate sets of tables are not even considered an option).

  If all departments use, how long before that some top-level executive wants to have access to the data for each of them? How easy it will be to predict that, when the data is distributed on several tables?

  That said, SPV is not available in the XE, and the fact that you use it means that you are unlikely to be able to switch to Enterprise Edition to get it.

  My recommendation would be to rebuild the application using a set of tables, the views that restrict access to data by the Department and the generation of reports and PL/SQL with API packages manage data.

• What permissions are required to download a VM from vCenter with 11 workstation

  Currently, I'm using VMware Workstation 11 to connect to vCenter server. I do not administer VMware infrastructure but need to download VMs in vCenter Server on my local computer by using the workstation. However, when I try to do that, I get the error message "vim.fault.NoPermission." I have permission "Virtual virtual machine download Machine.Provisioning.Allow", but this doesn't seem to be enough. What are the additional permissions do I need to achieve this.

  Also as a separate issue. What permissions are needed to download a VM on vCenter. We do not need this feature initially, but it would be nice to know if we want to implement in the future.

  So after enough effort, I solved my problem. One of the things I noticed is that whenever I tried to do a download from the workstation, I noticed a newspaper get created called OVFTool.log. That's what tipped me off to this particular process using the OVFTool to run and complete the operation. This data, I started researching the permissions needed to perform operations using the OVFTool. I came across this article from VMware:
