Hello

Your computer is in selective startup mode?

If not, then follow these steps, you are able to start in safe mode, you can move forward by starting the computer state to boot to safe mode that will help narrow down the issue. Follow the steps below:

Safe mode again to restart the computer to boot and check if the problem still persists. Link below will help you to start the computer in clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

  • The service PowerPath/VE is not manage LUNS on this host.

    Cross posted this to EMC forums, but they tend to be much less active.  Will post a follow-up here if I found the answer elsewhere first.

    I have a vCenter 5.5 build 1378903 installation and a host that I just upgraded to 5.5 build 1331820.  I did the upgrade by putting it in maintenance mode, detach my 5.8 PowerPath/VE a group of extensions of the host, attaching my new 5.9 PowerPath/VE to the host group, off lockdown, applied all the outstanding 5.1 ESXi patches and restart, applied patches 5.9 PowerPath/VE and restart.  I used 'rpowermt check_registration"to check it was OK, and he seems to think it is.

    However, having not taken it out of maintenance still mode for fear that something is wrong, I checked the tab EMC VSI in my vSphere Client and it is reported at the top of the screen in a bright color:

    The service PowerPath/VE is not manage LUNS on this host.

    If I use 'rpowermt host = 192.0.2.1 display dev = all' he seems to think that things work:

    Pseudo-Nom = emcpower1

    VNX ID = 1234 [LUN1]

    Standard UID = naa.1234 [BLOCK_LUN_20]

    status = alive; policy = CLAROpt; in queue-IOs = 0

    Owner: default = SP A, current = SP A Array failover mode: 4

    ==============================================================================

    -Stor - e/s path - Stats - the host

    # Interfaces HW path i/o paths.  State in mode Q - IOs errors

    ==============================================================================

    1 C1:T6:L0 SP B4 active vmhba32 living 0 0

    1 C0:T7:L0 SP B5 vmhba32 active living 0 0

    1 C1:T4:L0 SP A4 active vmhba32 living 0 0

    1 C0:T5:L0 SP active A5 vmhba32 living 0 0

    I guess that the result would have been empty if PowerPath was not actually managing i/o to that LUN?

    On the Configuration tab, storage, "Devices" button, choose one. in the lower window "Details of the device", it shows owner as PowerPath.

    My other hosts, PowerPath/VE 5.8 tab EMC VSI continue to say ' Found PowerPath/VE version 5.8 (build342) installed on the ESX host... ". »

    I don't want to come out of maintenance and risk mode direct you can get back to it, if something is really wrong with PowerPath.  Something else I can check?

    Found the issue; the RTOOLS version on the server was still 5.8 and it should be updated to match the version of PowerPath/VE.  Problem solved.

  • Windows 7 Starter from Windows XP Mode and no connection to the Service of Event Notification

    Today, for the first time when I started Windows 7 Starter, it took some time to load and I was on the 'Please wait' and 'Welcome' screen for far longer than normal. It starts with Windows XP Mode on and an error message:

    Unable to connect to a windows service

    Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Server service. This problem prevents standard users to log on to the system as an administrator, you can view the system event log to see why the server did not respond.

    By clicking on the notification, but has not sent me a newspaper.

    I force - stop it and it starts in safe mode, did not work. Then, normally two more times and nothing worked.

    I have a button Windows Aero in my control panel, I do not know why, because I'm under Windows 7 Starter, a version that does not include the Aero or Windows XP Mode. Please help and give you more information if necessary. Please help as much as you can.

  • Simple questions on the earphones of events and memory management

    I am brand new to AS 3.0 (have not coded in 10 years!) and I have a two part question on the management of event listeners.

    1. is it possible to use variables or loops to simplify the process of creating event listener? For example, I have a scene that animates the leaves when they are hit. There are 25 or more leaves, so I need to handlers of 25 and 25 functions, even if the animation is the same. Right now my code looks like this:

    leaf1.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf1);
    leaf2.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf2);
    leaf3.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf3);

    etc. And then the functions all alike as well.

    function animateLeaf1(e:TouchEvent): void {}
    leaf1.gotoAndPlay ("animationStart");
    }

    function animateLeaf2(e:TouchEvent): void {}
    leaf2.gotoAndPlay ("animationStart");
    }

    etc. My instinct tells me there is an easier way to do this, but I don't know if it's just because I see a model and want to put it in a loop or if there is really a better way to do it. I have event listeners are doing right?

    2. How can I clean my waste? Each of my frames will have 100-300 earphones of events inside, for animations, etc., mainly because a single button can have 3-5 event listeners (touch Start, end touch, touch roll on, roll off touch, etc.). Is this too much for a mobile device to manage? When can I disable event listeners to make sure that they are the garbage collector to release the memory? I don't want memory leaks, but the event listeners must be active when the frame is active and destroyed when the setting is inactive; I don't know how to program which, or if such a garbage collection is already inherent in Flash.

    Thank you very much!
    Amber

    leaf3.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf);

  • How to create a popup event which the producer is a 'button' in managed bean

    I can create a contextual action event named "ReportGenerationEvent" for the producer to declaratively: button successfully.

    < af:button text = "OK" id = "b4" actionListener = "#{bindings.eventBinding.listener.processAction}" / > "

    Page definition file:

    < eventBinding id = "eventBinding" Listener = "javax.faces.event.ActionListener" >

    but I also want to do something else before publish event contextual action by clicking this button. So I put a method of bean managed as actionListener property value.

    < af:button text = "OK" id = "b4" actionListener = "#{pageFlowScope.someManagedBean.processXXX} '"

    I want to program the contextual publshing event logic in managed bean, but it seems that it is wrong. How to solve my problem?

    {} public void processReportGeneration (ActionEvent actionEvent)

    Add the code in the event here...

    publish the contextual event

    BindingContainer links is BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();.

    JUCtrlActionBinding actionBnd = (JUCtrlActionBinding) bindings.getControlBinding("eventBinding"); This conversion is wrong.

    ((DCBindingContainer) bindings) .getEventDispatcher () .queueEvent (actionBnd.getEventProducer (), "myString");

    ((DCBindingContainer) bindings) .getEventDispatcher () .processContextualEvents ();

    }

    I noticed contextual event can only be created/published on the producer based on a method of action, action, value attribute or list binding.

    but I have not found this link for a contextual action button event, only the following definition exists in the definition of page file. Here, I'm confused.

    < eventBinding id = "eventBinding" Listener = "javax.faces.event.ActionListener" >

  • Service Control Manager 'Mistakes' 7001 & 7023

    Separated from this thread.

    All of the above Services are set to automatic and started, but the problem persists. In the event viewer, I get the Service Control Manager 'Mistakes' 7001 & 7023 and cannot identify what is the cause. I have turned off Homegroup and reactivated it hoping that it was the culprit, but nothing helps. My biggest problem is to track down what exactly is the cause for me the answers in EV are vague. I've done clean boots run SFC/scannow nothing helps. I also do not show NetBIOS TCP or whatever it is in the plug-and-play hidden devices in Device Manager. I have Win7x64 Hm Prem on an HP pc custom.

    Jerry Merci for your reply. Fortunately I managed to solve this problem via another site of microsoft to a position that was several years thanks "RiverWay May4th 2013" (link) http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/function-discovery-resource-publication-0x80070005/3a149bbb-4ccd-4b2c-bd88-dd642a85575e?rtAction=1433718960031 as follows:

    He said: -.

    "I was able to move beyond this error by doing two things:

    (1) open a prompt with "run as administrator" command window and run the following:

    > net localgroup administrators localservice / add

    > net localgroup administrators service / add

    (2) delete all files in the C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking folder. Some files wouldn't be deleted because they are used. I've just left alone.

    I'm not sure if step 2) was really necessary. In any case, after that, I was able to start the service Function Discovery Resource Publication . I changed the start mode of the service to "Automatic (delayed)" as others suggested.

    Hope that helps ".

    It cleared up my event viewer errors, seems when I started tinkering with homegroup settings in SCM began pestilential havoc on other parameters and which started when I googled everywhere to try to find out why when I restart my desktop computer so slow to produce icons they start white and then slowly come back to life or generate slow down my pc. Leading also to run sfc/scannow which found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them which led to SFCFix which sets and sfc/scannow which forced me to look at in the first place of event viewer. In any case its all good now.

  • Event ID 11 ATAPI / Service Control Manager event ID 7031 / crashes / freezes...

    OK, I'm almost certain that it is a hardware problem; probably in the hard drive (because that's what I read form similar problems online).

    I have a Dell XPS m1330 laptop computer, 2 GB of Ram, Vista Home Premium, 2.2 GHz processor, Nvidia G8400 MS with 128 MB allocated.

    Basically, he started a week or two ago, I got bluescreen containing "KERNEL_INPAGE_DATA_ERROR", out of the blue. I read it can be caused by incompatible software, which makes sense to me because I have recenty changed in msconfig startup programs, to try to speed up my startup... It was fine for a day or two, but then I got persistent crashes, woulf computer freeze for 20 seconds - 3 minutes (90% of the time when I was using firefox, although he did so with just iTunes open by himself before).

    Checking event viewer I've seen above, errors with the Red 'X'.

    I also see a lot of "Volmgr - the system does not have empty data in the transaction log.". Corruption can occur "with a yellow '! ».

    Also, I see some "Kernel-processor-Power - the speed of the processor 0 is restricted by the system firmware. The processor has been in this state of reduced performance for 9 seconds since the last report. »

    I often get warning messages that various programs have stopped working and the dialog box "do you want to close now or wait to face." These programs are sometimes an indexer Board/management console/windows search service Mcafee etc...

    Today, I got a new problem, a warning box appears, saying a critical error has occurred and windows will restart in one minute, telling me to save and close all work immediately...

    The only reason why I post here instead of replacing parts is that I updated my Dell Support Center and ran a test of the hard drive:

    Targeted reading test
    Test started 03/05/2011 12:37:29
    Error message: Error reading sector 23962699. 03/05/2011 12:38:14
    Error message: Error reading sector 23962698. 03/05/2011 12:38:58
    Error message: The test found 2 errors in sector. 03/05/2011 12:39:01
    Completion test: Failed 03/05/2011 12:39:02

    For some reason, it won't test the rest of the hard drive, just do not here and stop the test. However, he claims that the mistakes above are not "allways" indicative of hard drive failure... and annoyingly, tells me to do more tests...

    I know this doesn't look good, and I am extremely optimistic to think I can remedy without replacement of the equipment, but are there steps I can take before finally diving into the portfolio? (Guarantee missed 3 weeks ago... obviously).

    ChkDsk runs fine, no problem.
    Reference Dell Diagnostic returned failures in the hard drive, which I can list if necessary.
    I checked for new drivers, nothing there.
    I took out my hard drive, compressed air used to attempt to clean the connectors, nothing helps. (Note I've heard SATA cables may be at fault, but I wasn't able to get to them because of their location, migt need to disassemble my laptop further if you think it's worth)
    Off the CD/DVD rom drive (had mistakes occasional cdrom with yellow "!") The computer can will work perfectly for hours and then suddenly hang down to the minute, and Event Viewer is filled with dozens of error ID 11 atapi...

    Any advice?... huh.

    Hi Diddy Dell,

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.
