• Change the slide background

  I captured a demo of online software. After that, the company in which I captured it for a was purchased. Here is the challenge.
  
  To instead re - enter the whole process, I was easily able to just copy the groundswell, put it in photoshop, color adjustment (the only thing that has changed with the new brand) and paste as a new background of the slide. Painful, Yes... but would take a lot less time... taking the rhythm and the voice edition on.
  
  That worked perfectly with the exception of the slide when he types or a mouse, click. It also appears that Captivate catpures horizontal bitmaps for these actions, which show the colors 'elders '. You don't see these elements in the timeline in Captivate, even though I know they exist because I imprted in flash and saw the elements.

  Great that you have thought a work-around, chrisbk! By reading this thread, something kept niggling at me until just now. The head of the Captivate team, Silke Fleischer, offered a "fix" for the text typed a few months ago. It is just a small vewry SWF fijle, but works very well. I don't remember if she did Flash content itself, or if she passed along what someone else had done, but the task of replacing mistakenly typed text can be done by inserting the small top SWF file. If someone wants it, let me know privately and I will it track down and send it to you along.

  In addition, somewhere around here is an SDK to create your own animation text - I think. Rick said that he thinks that a developer would be just 5 minutes to create this typed text effect, so if you speak fluently with Flash or know someone who is, you will need the same 5 minutes to build what would be the development team, who have bigger fish to fry. And to take this logic a little further, there are probably two reasons animating text 'text typing' has not been skipped over earlier as a "must be" by the development team: 1) Macromedia gave us the means to do it ourselves, and 2) it is a simple 5 minutes work...

  I can't find it right now, but maybe if you look for Macromedia 'RoboDemo' and 'SDK '... If it is really important to you and you cannot find it, let me know and I'll try to do some research for you... the link may be dead now, and in any case, I'm sure I'll look in my "Favorites" on a machine that I don't use anymore, but I'd be happy to try.

• Ghost on the slide background images

  Somehow, I got an image of a screen shot on the background on some of the slides in my Captivate file. I can't select to remove it. Any thoughts on how to get this graphic image out of these slides?

  I thought about it (actually a work colleague). I inadvertently check "show until the end of the film" instead of "display until the end of the slide. If the screenshot was posted for the rest of the film. I changed 'end of slide' and all is well in the land of Captivate. Detective Conan!

• Resize the slide background image in responsive project

  I test the functionality of master slide in a sensitive project and I was wondering if it is possible to resize a background image for the mobile view. For example, I have a background at 1024 x 768 pixel image that works very well for the office and view tablet but I'd love to be able to resize or be able to move into the mobile display to position it better. Is it possible in the master slide view or would it be better to just the image in the timeline panel on each slide?

  The included themes are sensitive, if you start from such a theme, you will have three views of breakpoint as for master slides. Is not what you want?

• How a slide background holds several screenshots?

  I was under the impression that each captured in a simulation the slide background is a separate screen capture. However, on one of my friends, it turns to the end and I find that I have no control over what I need. It doesn't have an icon showing that it is a complete movement of record, so I am rather confused as to what is happening here.

  This is a simulation where an error message appears and you click on the OK button. This a particular slide is displayed before the error, and in the end, the error box appears. I think that when the error box appears, a separate slide/screen have been captured. I'm having trouble because I can't time the clicking OK on the error correctly because it appears only at the end of the slide, no matter how long I do the last slide.

  I don't have the ability to re - register this simulation, so if you can help separate me these events/slides, which would be very useful!

• Can I change the color of the background of the slides in Keynote?

  I use Keynote to create large arrays vertically with text and graphics which I then export it to PDF format for inclusion in another document. My "slides" being vertical there is plenty of space on each side of my screen landscape size. The extra space is gray and unnecessary. It would be useful that I could change to white so that I can temporary work with graphics on the side, and then move them in my project. Is anyway to do this?

  It's the backdrop, it is definitely gray and cannot be changed to indicate the area that shows not happy when the presentation is at stake.

  Content can always be placed in the gray canvas area and worked on, objects will be subdued in color to indicate that it is outside the slide.

  You can use the full width slide show on master so it would show in the background of the page.

  If I build a sensitive project and slides, I need to unlock the height of the slide in mobile mode on some slides to create a scrolling to display more content.

  When I adjust the height of the blade, it develops all the objects in the background of the slide (my header, title...). These elements are not merged.

  Is there anyway that I can adjust the height of the blade so that it is not developing all the objects on the slide, only the backdrop (i.e. the white canvas). I try to use a model of slides for content pages.

  I feel your pain. I struggled with this for a long time, but finally found a solution.

  If you want to extend the height of the blade, creating a scroll bar. But you want certain elements to stretch and others do not.

  
  

  Object to Extensible NOT / Static

  • Create in the Slide Master
  • Set the properties top and % Relative height.

  Stretch/dynamic objects

  • Create directly in slide film
  • Set the Top % Relative property
  • Set the Height property for % (not related).

  I recommend to create a slide film finalized and then duplicate this slide for all other instances.

  Let me know if it works.

  I am changing a course created with Captivate 5, Captivate 7 and for some reason any background image slide 35 appeared in all the slides after one and I can not remove. The most interesting thing is that when you look at the film slides, they are different (like the original) than on the workspace that contains the background image, I'm trying to delete (screenshot below).

  There are audio slide in the slide, so I won't stop completely all the sound elements, just the background sound when a person returns to the slide again.

  I'm doing a site based on a template Freeccs.  This particular model was chosen because my client wants a slideshow on each page, and it is one that is generated by javascript.

  The problem is the following: such as load images for the slideshow, a bright red background color fills the space where the images will be displayed on-screen.

  Can someone tell me how to change the red background to something less distracting, like a dark gray?  I guess that the javascript code sets the color, but I don't know javascript.
