  I got an AMD graphics card in a PC and now I switched to a NVIDIA one. I thought I could uninstall the AMD driver to save a little space (which has a SSD system drive), but it appears not in the Panel-> uninstall a program. It appears in the control panel-> system and security-> check for updates-> view update history, but there is no uninstall option. If I go into the Panel-> uninstall a program-> view installed updates and the search for "ATI Technologies" (start of title), nothing is found. Is it possible to uninstall?

  You should completely uninstall the drivers AMD to avoid any conflict with the Nvidia drivers.

  As I had not had a response to my question, I thought that I better go and to fend for myself.

  So I went on a search engine Bing to find a solution to my problem and I did...  Admittedly simple so I thought for those who may have the same problem I would my Solutrion that I found so here you are.

  #1. Right-click on the desktop and choose screen resolution.   And change the resolution to 1024 x 768.

  Yes, the HD 7850 should work correctly.  If, however, you decide to take the Double (2 fans), you should get the measurements and make a cardboard template to ensure that it fits properly.  It is 9.5 "long and has two power connectors 6 pins.  They will add about an inch to the length, once the cables are connected.

  Here are the recommended system requirements for BF4:

  He isn't a machine of young by any means, but, until I can get a new graphics card, there must be a way I can bring my resolution to a readable level. The existing graphics card has 'moved' Vista of adapters to display for system devices/I/O Controller. In its place, VISTA has put a generic "Standard VGA graphics card" with no resolution setting. Can anyone offer a solution?

  A 500W (or more) power with a 150W power connector 8 pin PCI Express and a connector power 75W 6-pin PCI Express is recommended for the graphics card AMD Radeon 7970. Your XPS 8300 has a diet of 460W. This maybe one of the reasons for the question from the video card works on another computer.

  Before I updated my Windows this month I just checked if Microsoft still offer this update. This is in the optional list. I installed so I thought to manually upgrade to IE10 because he wasn't in the IE9 update list. So I did manually and after that check updates again and to my surprise this update has disappeared completely. I have an old PC as well, and after installing all the updates I still have no problems so far. I recommend that you upgrade to IE10 after uninstalling this update (if you updated with that and faced the problem) to get rid of the update forever. But do it at your own risk, because I never updated my machine with this defective update and see if that caused any problems with my machine.
