the timestamp of the log file name

Hello
10 g R2 on win 2003 server, I start the RMAN backup like this:

RMAN catalog rman/***@REPRMAN target system/***@mydb LOG=D:\LOGS\mydb_full.log @D:\backup\Scripts\mydb_backup.sql

If I want to put it in a batch file, how can I do to get a name of logfile with timedatestamp for each day?
For example:
mydb_full_110408.log
mydb_full_110508.log
mydb_full_110608.log

Thank you.

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

    Hello

I don't know if I understand what you want to achieve. If by just seeing the results in the paper mean you saw that puts the output of the order, you can use another file to write the output (I wouldn't leave out the OMBLOG file, it can be handy when you are trying to debug an error). You can use this piece of code:

    Set p_logfile "C:\\my directory\\my file.log.

    Set v_usefile [open "$p_logfile" +]

    puts $v_usefile 'your message '.

    close $v_usefile

I like to use double quotas in case the file has spaces in its path or name, if there is no space, quotas are not necessary. You can bring order to open at the beginning of your script and the file close to the end, although if your script fails, you will need a new log file, because the one you were using will get blocked until you restart your computer. For complex scripts, I have a procedure that I give the word to write my messages in a file that I keep in a global variable, this procedure opens the file, write the message, and then closes the file. Once get you it working, you don't get the locked log file because the script that you run fails.

My confusion here is why the mechanisim of (DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST) is him even while the same with both of them becomes differ when you set
    'DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n '?

DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST is used if DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined.

Db_recovery_file_dest is used to multiplex logs files.
For example, if Oracle uses DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST (because DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined), it multiplexes the logfile to DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST if DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST is also defined.
If, however, DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 is used, Oracle wait allows you to set the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_2 as well for the multiplexing of the file journal; Otherwise, it assumes that you do not want the multiplexed log file. The fact that the parameter ends with an n means that Oracle uses the n = 2 f or the multiplex if defined location.

    Hi Steve,.

There are some errors in your code.

    1. function 'getmyDoc' is used, but not created.
    2. fucntion 'getScriptPath' is created but not used. (In any case, this will not give you error)
    3. function 'journal' has defined two times with the same length of the parameter.

    etc...

Here, I have modified your code. Try this.

    var w = new Window ("dialog");
    var myGroup1 = w.add('panel', undefined, 'P&&G Check List');
    myGroup1.alignChildren = "left";
    var checkbox1 = myGroup1.add ("checkbox", undefined, "  01.  Check the ratio, sizes against job ticket and slug information");

  • Why don't FCP_LOGIN appears in the log file

We have a shell script that is saved and runs correctly in a dev environment. When impose us this to a new environment, we get the following values that appear on the log file.
    FCP_REQID
    FCP_LOGIN
    FCP_USERID
    FCP_USERNAME
    FCP_PRINTER
    FCP_SAVE_OUT
    FCP_NUM_COPIES

My main concern here is that the name of user and password apps is displayed in plain text. Why it appears in one case but not the other? Any ideas how to disable this option? Could be a parameter in the query competitor?

  • Analysis of the log files from vCenter

Hello, a virtual machine has been removed in our area, and I need to analyse what/how it happened. Unfortunately, the vSphere and vCenter log files have since turned. However, in regards to the vcenter, I have backups of the log files, and these have been restored. When you look at the log files I don't let you content or find the name of the virtual machine when you perform a search.

Can anyone tell how to examine the log for a deleted VM files?

    Thank you

The entry in the journals of vpxd looks like this:

(Not very helpful, I know - but at least there machine virtual-did you ID the identifier for the missing VM of old scripts of the inventory by chance?))

  • Error: Could not open the log file...

I'm running Fusion 2.0 on an iMac intel with Leopard, and my guest is Vista. Fusion is shared by two users, so I put the package VM in users/shared/Virtual Machines / Vista. The two Admin using Fusion have read/write privileges. When I run Fusion I get this error window:

Cannot open the log file "/ users/shared/Virtual Machines.localized / Windows Vista.vmwarevm/vmware.log» Check your configuration to ensure that the path specified for the log file is valid and that you have write privileges in this directory. The current log file is always ' /var/folders/R/rIUqaD5FrKi4RkZAfUtGE+++TM/-Tmp-//vmware-name/vmware-name-1414.log'.

As I am new to VMware Fusion, I'm not sure what this means exactly, maybe that the log file is no longer in its original location? I don't know what is the log file for exactly or how to solve this problem. If someone could point me in the right direction to solve this problem, it would be much appreciated. I tried to search for this topic, but I can't find an account of a similar problem.

Anyone know what the log file and the importance, in operations? I don't want to something important happening in the future.

OK, so you use user "tligmohamed", and the record is the property of ' tligmohamed user, then give it the permissions read and write in the same window.

Also note that things like snapshots and Suspend will NOT work when the sharing between users.  So, whenever you use Windows and plan on using it with another user the next time, you have to make a full "shutdown".

And again, because the snapshot may not work properly (because the new files are named without the same permissions, you will need to manually adjust all), AutoProtect does not either, so don't forget that AutoProtect is disabled and you are not snapshots.

This question also can be easily resolved by the start of the user giving the error and then a complete stop the virtual machine, open a session for that user and the other (which gave the error) and try to start it upward.

  • Oracle Hyperion Planning - location of the log file

When a data form returns the message:

An error occurred when executing the specified calc script. See the log for more details.

What is the name of the log file I should be looking for and where it is normally?

    Thank you

    If Windows have a look in /user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/services/HyS9Planning-syserr.log and HyS9Planning - sysout.log
There are two log files planning that you can check.
If it's linux change the directory of services for critics

  • The "Log FIles" in the coldfusion 9.01 administrator access error

When I try to look at the log files in cfadmin, I get this error:

    Diagnosis:
The isSystemLog method was not found. He doesn't are has no method with the method specified name and the arguments types or the isSystemLog method is overloaded with argument types ColdFusion cannot decrypt reliably. ColdFusion found 0 methods that correspond to the provided arguments. If it is a Java object and you verified that the method exists, use the javacast function to reduce ambiguity.
The error occurred on line 283

I have also noticed that the scheduled tasks 'Last Run' does not update. I enabled logging in cfadmin for scheduled tasks and created a scheduler.log with all the tasks being connected and running properly for this.

I am at a loss here and really need help before going to live with that.

The problem has been resolved, it seems that the update applies without error due to the fact that a mail app kept the cfperfmon_9.dll in open C:\windows\system32 which prevented the 9.01 update to crush the original.

Thank you all for your help! works fine now.

  • FlexBuilder startup error - an error has occurred. Check the log file.

Hello everyone. It baffles me. When I try to load FlexBuilder, I get a message popup stating the following:

"An error has occurred. Check the log file
    c:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\configuration\1201413244722.log"

Note that the file name of the change log. Also note that this file does not exist. I can't find anywhere on my computer. Also note that I am running Vista in 32-bit mode. The error of course is not very descriptive, especially since I don't have the log file. I think that this may be due to a corrupt workspace, but I'm not sure. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times and it will work for awhile, but then he'll come back.

    Any ideas?

In addition, anyone know of a configuration file that I can change the workspace without loading FlexBuilder? If it is a corrupt workspace I would try to get around it by tapping a different workspace FlexBuilder (I have several).

    Thank you
    Amanda

Yes, my solution was the same thing. I just run as administrator. After some research it turns out that this is how Microsoft treats problems of incompatibility in Vista. Microsoft actually recommends this:

    1. right click on the executable
    2. Select the "Compatibility" tab
    3. check "run this program as an administrator".

That's nice, so at least you don't have to manually run the program as administrator, every time that you run the program. Although I find it funny that this is microsofts workaround!

  • I get the 'BAD IMAGE' when many *.exe files is available. The error image refers to "BROWSE ~ .dll." What is the correct file name?

    Hello

I create SequenceCall (in MainSequence), but there must be the Module file name and existing file where the module. I found an old function that are not part of the API (TS_SequenceCallModuleSetUseCurrentFile() and TS_SequenceCallModuleSetSequenceName(). Those who are in the help file, but not in tsapicvi.c.

You can help someone with this (CVI code)?

    Hello

Problem is solved using different fp (tsadpcvi.h, tsadpcvi.c). Instead of using tsapicvi.c with TestStand 4.2, the missing functions were found in tsadpcvi.c with TestStand 2010).
