  Note that if you fully and properly recorded your earlier version of Acrobat from Adobe, you can retrieve the serial number on the Adobe site by logging in with your Adobe ID

  In addition, be aware that reduced to Acrobat CC upgrades apply only to users of Acrobat 10 and 11. Earlier versions of Acrobat are not eligible for reduced upgrade prices.

  What you do, it is go to the Adobe Web site, click on your product and specify that you want to return items - you want a FULL REFUND!

  What is the first option, they give you?  The session ever elusive "cat."  Three times I tried with various silly responses that got me nowhere

  On my 4th attempt, I'm someone who knew what they were doing - literally within 5 minutes, all problems solved, and things everything works perfectly.

  I have a droplet which stretches from digimarc on my images.  Its working well for the past 2 years.  However the most recent upgrade to LR2015CC and PS2015CC its broken.  I did go back and manually install the digimarc plug-in (because it is no longer installed by default) in PS 2015 CC.  The drop works well when it is run within PS2015 CC however when I try to run it as part of "Post-processing, after export" in CC LR2015 I now get an error message "droplets could not communicate with Photoshop.  It worked in the latest versions of LR and Psalm

  Anyone have this same problem?   It is a technique of very popular workflow for those of us who use digimarc.  I wonder if anyone else has encountered this and has a fix.

  Work around is to install the OLD PS CC2014 and restart the computer.  Then it magically connects to CC2015 PS without errors.

• Cannot get active document when the user clicks on the document in Adobe FM 2015.

  I am facing the following problem:

  I have a timer in my application that strikes several times after 2 seconds to get the name of the current document (if there is).

  If the user selects text (the click of the mouse down) of the current document in Adobe FM 2015 then the following API call returns 0 (which is false):

  F_ApiGetId (FV_SessionId, FV_SessionId, FP_ActiveDoc)

  Later, if the user leaves the mouse (click of the mouse to the top) then in the next hit of the timer the document name is extracted.

  It seems that the Adobe FM 2015 cannot manage simultaneously the two entries of the user of the application and the API in my application calls.

  Why is this happening?

  It seems that Adobe FrameMaker 2015 cannot handle at the same time user UI events and FDK API calls from external applications.

  When user interacts with the application FM calls API FDK for my failure in the external application with error codes.

  You need not install older programs.  When you go to activate CS5, you will be asked to identify the eligible product by selecting from a list and providing serial number.  The eligible product is old has allowed the upgrade, which in your case is probably CS3.

  The box of the Adobe Store came with NO manuals, not so much as a vulgar piece of paper that says hello. Just 3 discs in a small box and a note on execution of do not on 32-bit win...

  I am in my box of CS3 and it's about 2 feet in length and textbooks are dog-eared and well used...

  So I called bead, and they said they would be happy to sell me a bunch of training... They no longer understand manuals with their products.

  No one understands more dead tree books. PDF files are available online, and I think that they are included on the DVD as well.

  When you install acrobat xi Setup detects a serial number update.  It will then search for a product calling it (for example, acrobat std 9), there is failure to find that you will be able to select the product in a drop-down list.  You will then be asked to enter the serial number of the eligible product (ie, acrobat std 9).

  If you enter the correct number to the correct installation of the xi ends.

  I got my PC for a little over 2 years now and I would like to watch videos and movies on my pc via internet.  When I try to view a video or a movie, a bar appears at the top of the window tells me to download the correct version of adobe flash, but it never works.  I tried to access the adobes site to find an upgrade, but they show no one is yet available for 64-bit Vista.

  My husband bought a new PC last Christmas and has the 64-bit vista, but he can watch videos and movies online.  Did I miss something on Adobes site?

  You're not missing something on the Adobe Web site. Flash is only available in 32-bit version. You can use Internet Explorer 32-bit (in your Programs Menu) or install Firefox . Then, install the 32-bit Flash Player and your husband will be happy. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  An upgrade is identical to the full version. It's just a pricing formula that Adobe offers to existing customers throughout the year. But Black Friday offers and holidays are usually best.

  We have received several Adobe XI Upgrade licenses and would like to ask directly on an existing installed Adobe 9.  When you install Adobe XI over an existing Adobe 9, the installation will not work.  It is said to uninstall Adobe 9 first before installing Adobe XI.  Not sure why this is the case when we bought upgrade licenses.  Y at - it a specific upgrade I can download instead of installing full install of Adobe XI?

  Adobe updates are complete and independent facilities.  They do not update/update an earlier version by editing, they are an independent fully functional version.
