I'm a hobbyist who uses PS often for scrapbooking and photographic projects personal I don't need all the features of specialty that some professionals might need. So, what are the options I have for the upgrade? Then if I do not update for CS5 will I encounter problems because of this? I now use on a regular Mac Book pro and the Mac Air.   If you do not upgrade, the system you have now, assuming it works, can continue to work.

  CS5 is not coded for the yet-to-be new OS updates. It is these updates in the future that could potentially break some of the Working Group current feature CS5. In a way - update of the OS at the risk of CS5 to stop working in the future.

  The current versions of CC 2014 then will support all current operating systems.

  1. I've updated since Ppro CS3 to CS5 purchased in the Adobe store.
  2. I opened a project created in CS3 to CS5 and followed by the prompt to save it in a new project.
  3. All securities, modifications, etc. were intact and a given sequence played re-rendering etc as expected.
  4. I created a new project, any one of the same avi files used in step 2. Yet once again, everything worked properly
  5. I ran the Update menu in Agency assistance to 5.0.3. I ran this process two different times.  The first time, I selected all the updates.  The second time, I only updated itself.  I did a system restore in the meantime, the following results were identical in the two situations.
  6. Now when I open convert it or proposed new file, agency reports the media as 'offline'... is not. If I "Link Media" the file, I get this message: the selected file does not recording media used by clip contain references in one or more sequences. If this is the film that will change you, the simple solution is just one of the clips slide the button new item at the bottom of the Panel project; It's one that looks like a chipped sheet. This will create create a new sequence corresponding to your images settings as closely as possible.

In General, however, is not really an "optimal" preset for any data type of sequences. Premiere Pro is quite flexible, you can use images of any kind in any kind of sequence you want or need. Certainly, in most applications, you want things like the size of the image, pixel format and cadence to match your images, but it not always necessary or even desired. I often work in sequences that are almost completely different from my source footage - it really depends on your personal preferences to work and your desired output. For example, I often work with assets of 1080i/p, but need to output to SD output. in this case, I don't even bother with an HD sequence preset.

  If you have Photoshop CS5 saved with Adobe, you are eligible to move to Photoshop CD6 for $199.

  It doesn't matter if CS5 was itself an upgrade from CS4 versions.

  My organization purchased upgrade CS6 Master Suite in which we used a serial number CS4 Master Suite we had owned in December of 2012. The installation was very good.   No, the CS4 was purchased in 12/2009, so it has nothing to do with the window of upgrade of last year. Or at least it shouldn't be!

  When I use a color Pantone in CS5 and then convert the process, I get some values for CMYK. However, when I use this same Pantone color in CS6 and convert to process, I have different values for CMYK.

  I think you should keep dreaming

  I'm not a programmer, but look at my own files, here's what I think is happening:

  If you copy your shortcut in the folder of the CS5 file, you will lose all the CS5shortcuts that are not included in this one. For example, there is a shortcut to select the Gap tool in CS5, and it isn't in the shortcuts in CS4. So, if you use your shortcuts in CS4, you will lose these keys.

  I guess when you make a customized in the InDesign dialog box set, it copies all the default shortcuts in this game and then adds or modifies everything you add or change. But if you start from a set of shortcuts in CS4, you will lose some of the default settings. Thus, you need to start with a set of shortcuts CS5, and then add or replace your own shortcuts. Unfortunately, it will be painful because you want to make sure that everything you add replaces the corresponding shortcut to the default settings. If you can not stick just them all at once.

  I guess that's the reason why there is no button "load the shortcuts '... I bet someone knows a way to compare the two files and look for the lines where the
