The VCS Diagnostic log output

Hello!

To try to determine why the traversal calls are intermittenetly default, I stumbled on the following in the Debug Diagnostic VCS log - E;

2013 09-12 T 11: 04:20 - tvcs cefa-videoconf-vcsexpress01 07:00: elements UTCTime = "2013-09-12 18:04:20, 223" Module ="developer.fsm" Level = 'ERROR' CodeLocation="allshare/fsm/fsmprntf.cpp(324)" method ="": fsm_ERRTEXT "Thread ="0x7f7965ca6700": detail ="Attempt rejecting W of HTTPFSM to solve the empty hostname"Self ="DNS:0 " "Sender ="HTTPFSM:0. 2013 09-12 T 11: 04:20 - tvcs cefa-videoconf-vcsexpress01 07:00: elements UTCTime = "2013-09-12 18:04:20, 224" Module ="developer.http" Level = 'ERROR' CodeLocation="ppcmains/httpclient/httpfeedtask.cpp(607)" method ="": httpfeed_retry "Thread ="0x7f7965ca6700": detail ="maximum attempts. " Your comments didn't this time. »

It seems that VCS tries to reach something but does not give up because the maximum number of attempts has been reached.  I do not see this e-mail when calls are making even though the firewall as they should.  When the calls start to fail, I see that the foregoing repeated many times.

The VCSes are the two X7.2.2.  The call goes through an IPGW running 2.0 (1.7), which is registered in the VCS-E.  The call came from the public internet, go to an endpoint inside the firewall of the memorandum of appeal through the firewall is H.323.

My questions are;

-This sequence of message would cause the fault of calls?

-If it's just a symptom of the real problem, which is HTTPFSM and what host name empty could he try to solve?

-The first entry shows 'W rejecting the attempt '.  'W' would be the firewall?

-There is an external Manager configured on theVCS-E, which is not reachable from the public internet.  Could the attempts by the VCS-E to reach the external trigger managing a denial of firewall that prevents to carry out calls?

- and finally, the e-mail above sounds familiar to anyone?

Thank you!

Don't remember seeing these messages in my logs, but now grep-ing on the current

files that I didn't want her either.

HTTP resembles something of web service, maybe your VCS try to connect to your TMS and

fails, some political or some access to the api internal, commissioning, receiver feedback...

As you already outside Director is defined but not ok, I think that's the reason.

Also fits as this sends feedback to the Manager when the call is made, which would be the case

If it failed.

Verify that you do not have an ALG in the path, that can also be at the remote site.

VCS has a quite modern h323 signaling, what works in other directions may therefore be broken

When a vcs is in the picture.

How is the call flow? The remote site connects directly to the IPGW?

We had the feeling that everything works well ask smoother people to dial the address IP of VCS

and then use the alias of relief VCS to point to an alias on the IPGW ;-)

Please remember useful frequency responses and identify useful or correct answers.

  • How to write to the system event log

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1

    I run a daily work to create an image of my drive system hard. Repeatedly the work began and, due to a material error, be abandoned. In some cases (mostly), this will result in the image of yesterday being destroyed, leaving me with no viable image in case I need to restore. Although the reader is old enough (3 years), I'm not want to replace it, because I know no other activity that has had a problem with it and diagnoses reported no problem.

    So I want to execute a batch file or a script before the regular daily system backup operation. The script would go to a SMART short self-test, and if no errors are reported, would signal the backup task to run. Conversely, if the self-test report any error, the script don't trigger not the backup task to run. I think I will need to write an entry in a kind of system event log, which would be defined in the trigger condition in the entrance to the Windows Task Scheduler for the backup task. If anyone can help with the details of how to write an entry to a log of system events?

    Or, perhaps, there is better way to achieve what I want to do?

    I guess that there is not a very high probability that the script will always truly detect a problem and prevent the last image of the destruction. But I tell myself that it is worth the effort.

    TIA

    Assuming that smartctl generates an errorlevel nonzero in case it failed, the following script will work, as long as Smartctl is run under the same account as Casper.

    I also made your script more transparent control setting. The if/then/else/if/then embedded instructions are perfect for computers, but are often misconstructed by the human mind. I'm a big believer in the KISS principle.

    For the handshake to work, you must place the CASPER command inside a file of commands as follows:

  • The issue of logging of access control list name.

    Hello

    I've used ACL for many years and had not too many questions. I am a new client site and a project of Port authentication that we planned on using extanded access control lists to control traffic entirely open to help write the correct ACL for services using the ACL. The issue I have found is using the ACL below-> syslog logging does not show the port number which is exactly what we are after. We have not named ACL extended that record the port number as well.

    Running: Cisco IOS Software, s72033_rp (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2 (33) SXH3a, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

    IP extended Access-list-example access list

    IP enable any any newspaper
    deny ip any any newspaper

    The log output:

    Mar 22 11:23:46: % s-6-IPACCESSLOGP: the list of access-list-example permit tcp nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn (0)-> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (0), 1 packet

    On a normal extended access list, we get this in a log output:

    access-list 120 allow host ip nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn xxx.xxx.xxx.0 0.0.0.7 Journal

    Mar 22 09:31:46: % s-6-IPACCESSLOGP: list 120 permit tcp nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn (3874)-> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (5001), 1 packet

    This shows the port numbers - I was wondering what small thing that I missed on logging for what I checked: http://www.cisco.com/web/about/security/intelligence/acl-logging.html and I see that the use of the switch of newspaper should do this because it shows the port numbers in their example.

    I'm sure it'll be something simple but I can't figure it out - I searched all odd Cisco cautions for ACL named which connect to port numbers, but can't find anything easily. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

    Thank you

    Z.

    For the port number appear in the newspapers, you must create the list of access as follows:

    IP extended Access-list-example access list

         permit tcp any gt 0 any gt 0 log
         permit udp any gt 0 any gt 0 log

    Hope that helps.

    Try to hit the green button to go in your call log. Click on the menu button and go to Options. Try to change your phone list. Also if you are in your list of Messages you can press ALT + P to display the list of your calls

    Thanks for your help srini.

    I found the solution.

    Caused by: java.io.UTFDataFormatException: invalid UTF8 coding.

    Some--> binary in WINSCP or PSFTP transfer settings

    Before ? >

    Now changed to encoding = "iso-8859-1"? >

    In the property report Module: settings XML--> XML prologue value--> encoding = "iso-8859-1"? >

    Now it works fine.

  • How to make an initial charge followed a change of replication to the same process of the user (Java adapter) output?

    I need to:

    -Complete an initial load from an Oracle database to a user (process Java of an adapter) output process, with:

    TABLE..., SQLPREDICATE "FROM SNA... » ;

    -Then start a normal change of replication from the SNA for the same output of the user process, for example with:

    Register extract... RCS container (...) database...

    Add extract..., tranlog integrated, Yvert...

    I also need to have a clear dividing line between the end of the initial charge and the beginning of replication of change.

    That is, I need to know when the initial charge ended replication in the output of the user.

    I can do the initial charge and the work of replication of change, but I can't figure out how to do the two processes feed at the same exit of user procedure.

    It is because of the initial charge producing "extract files", compared to the extract of change generating the "path of the files', and those who cannot be loaded by the same process of output to the user.

    I don't understand why there is such a distinction and limitation.

    Is there a way to extract initial loading of writing to a log file, which could be picked up by the extract of change?

    If I could turn the extract files into files of trail, that would solve most of my problems.

    I believe that those who have exactly the same file formats (as is from logdump), and the only difference is that tracks have an additional checkpoint file. My understanding is correct?

    Is there a hack that would allow me to turn extract files in a path?

    Thanks in advance for any idea,

    1 do the initial load and wait for it to complete. Let's say the initial load generated more trails

    / tmp/ab000000

    / tmp/ab000001

    / tmp/ab000002

    / tmp/ab000003

    2. stop the initial load snippet once its done.

    3. set up an excerpt from capture of change online and mention the same prefix for trail

    EXTTRAIL/tmp/ab

    Now, the important thing is to let the extract online from sequence 4 and we do this with the following command,

    ggsci > Add ext ,...

    ggsci > add exttrail/tmp/ab, seqno 4, ext

    When we add the checkpoint of trail, we ask the extract from the sequence 4

    You can then start out it online and it will send sequence 4.

    4 then add and start an extract from pump to read the sequence 0 trail and run with PASSTHROUGH

    Thank you

  • Oracle diagnostic Log Analyzer Question

    JDeveloper 11.1.1.5

    I try to display a log XML file created by java.util.logging.XMLFormatter.
    http://download.Oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/guide/util/logging/overview.HTML#2.4
    As long as it is related, I have a sample file
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
    <!DOCTYPE log SYSTEM "logger.dtd">
    <log>
    <record>
      <date>2000-08-23 19:21:05</date>
      <millis>967083665789</millis>
      <sequence>1256</sequence>
      <logger>kgh.test.fred</logger>
      <level>INFO</level>
      <class>kgh.test.XMLTest</class>
      <method>writeLog</method>
      <thread>10</thread>
      <message>Hello world!</message>
    </record>
    </log>
    The 'diagnosis of the Oracle Log Analyzer' is able to display these files?
    What I do is open 'Oracle diagnostic Log Analyzer' open my file, go to the 'with Message' tab and then do a search. I always get "0 found.
    I tried with a lot of different log files and various parameters in the search box.

    If I have nothing on the ' time Log: "field JDev survey java.lang.NumberFormatException: for the input string:" ""

    No, as far as I know the only format is odl format.

  • Satellite A300-17 years - can't do the tests on the PC diagnostic tool

    I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop A300-17. Everything went very well and I installed all the drivers including PPV but something is worng with the 'pc diagnostic tool', the 'basic information' tab I get all the information corectly but when I go to the tab "diagnotsic tool", it's all the empy, I can't give it a try, just an empty page.

    What could be worng?

    Thank you very much :)

    Hi motti,.

    I even checked the site Web of Toshiba Satellite A300 and Windows 7. It seems that PC diagnostic tool is only available for Windows XP. I can t he find for Vista and Windows 7.

    I think that's the reason. You must download VAP now that it contains.

  • Specify the end point for the digital using an output circular buffer

    When you use DAQmx and a NOR-DAQ for issuance of a digital signal using a circular buffer (buffer Renault). The program works and works, but when the 'DAQmx Stop Task.vi' function is called to end the task, he stops at the output buffering as soon as it is called and does not wait until the buffer pointer reaches the final value in the buffer. I would like that the program to wait until the buffer pointer is on the last value in the buffer, does anyone know how to specify this setting?

    If you need to stop on exactly the last sample output you will need a way to trigger the stop in the material.  The options available to you will depend on what hardware DAQ, you use, but here are some possibilities on the top of my head:

    1. set up a digital output redeclenchables task finished (not all hardware supports).  Set up a counter of output to issue a periodic trigger with the necessary synchronization signal such that the end result is a "continuous" digital output without interruption.  When you stop your loop, stop the task of counter - digital output ends his generation but the trigger signal will be removed and so it will not continue after that.

    2. If you have an unused extra digital output line, add it to your task.  This line should exit 0 all except the last sample.  Physically, this additional digital line in a wire line PFI and use it to trigger a meter output.  Have the output counter generate a single pulse of some long-term (long enough to ensure that the software can respond prematurely).  Use the output from the task of counter as a trigger of break for the task of digital output.  Do not start the task of the meter until you leave your loop.  Do not stop the task of digital output until you have detected in the software that the meter has been triggered.

    If you need to stop on approximately the last sample output, you could query the TotalSamplesPerChannelGenerated property after leaving your loop and only stop the task once it reaches a multiple of the size of your circular buffer.  This is no guarantee that it stops on the last sample (if you use a device on a bus with a latency higher as USB or Ethernet the non-determinisme would be worse).

    Best regards

  • Change the shape of the output signal without initializing the new process of output signal

    Hello!

    How to change the shape of the output signal produced on the output channel without initializing the new process of output signal?

    Thank you

    Yes, you can do the same thing without count/killing the task all the time.

    Attached VI shows how to use redeclenchables AO in the same way, using a meter like time base for the AO.

    Please note that attached VI uses the same Subvi as in the example you posted before.

    Hello, the Service stops

    I have several XP Pro PCs on a network and install a new mixer and re-install a NAS driving etc the Bonjour service ' should output "on several PC. Although I was able to restart the service through administrative tools, Services I would like to understand why this service should pick out? It involves service of buggy code that can't cope? I've rarely met other Services just to die. No idea why this is happening and how I could avoid happening again as a normal user do not know how to fix it.

    Unless you have Apple computers on your network (or a PC with the Apple software like iTunes and you share iTunes music between your computers), you need not Hello.  Just, stop the service and set its startup type to manual or disabled.
