  • When I scroll a page all of a sudden the page jumps all the way back to the top

When I scroll a page all of a sudden the page jumps all the way back to the top

    Hey LouiseReed,

This could be a problem with your keyboard. For example if your House key was stuck or if you accidentally touch while scrolling the page would jump to the top of the screen. If possible, try to connect to another keyboard and test to see if the same thing happens.

Another possibility is that your mouse has a top button which is on the Home button. While scrolling if you accidentally hit this button, the page jump to the top.

If the above information doesn't help you find causing jumps, please provide more specific information such as: what do you use to scroll when this happens, the problem is easily reproducible whether the problem occurs randomly, etc.

    Hope that helps.

  • How can I test Windows 8 without losing my way back to Windows 7?

You may have found yourself on the fence about installing Windows 8, you're not sure if you like it on this system including, or not, but don't want to not lose the files you had before installing Windows 8 or must go through another reinstall process to go back to Windows 7.

Well, there is another way that is often forgotten.  Windows 7 has the ability to make a hard disk image.  It's basically a clone of the drive because it is when the image is made and it is stored on a set of DVDs or an external hard disk (user's choice).

Of course, this must be done before installing Windows 8.

    1. first of all, do a repair of Windows 7 as function of this guidedisc.   This

    2. create a system image according to this guide.

    3. If you do not like how Windows 8 running on the system, you can restore the image of the system already manufactured by following this guide.  The image of the system should recover the system to exactly how it was when the image was made.

It's just a way to test the system changes, such as a different operating system and have a way to go back.

    I hope this information helps.

  • How do reset you the program back to Windows 7 compatibility mode?

I tried to get a program runs on Windows 7, but it would freeze upwards.  Then I changed a setting in the program compatibility, try a Windows XP mode and a mode of Windows Vista (without success).  How to get out the compatibility settings and just go back to Windows 7?  Thank you.

    Hi dartglass01

To change the settings for compatibility manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the compatibility tab. You can uncheck the option to run this program in compatibility mode dedicated

    ankkip,

You can (always keep a copy of the original work):

    (1) cut the path indicated in the Anchor Points where the rounded end of the original deadline of the race begins and replace Stroke/No fill for all the paths of the limit;

    (2) object > mix > blend Options, location not specified > 1 and guidance > align on the track;

    (3) select the paths of both side of 1 limit) and object > blend > Make (you may need to add one or more anchor Points either if the intermediate stage seems odd);

    (3) object > blend > expand and separate;

    (4) choose the path of the middle and give the law (corresponding to the distance between the path of the border side) and Cap round/Join.

The new path must now complete and put the side and end paths limited. You may need to make adjustments.

  • Values wrong the way back to a Select list in a pop-up window

    Greetings

I have a sample application loaded on apex.oracle.com here: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=54441:3

    Steps to follow:
    1. connect with any ID, there is no authentication
2 - Select "BATTERSBY DANIELSON & ASSOC" as the Agency
3 - Select contract ' 1208... "in the drop down menu
4 - Click on the button "modify an existing contract.
5 - Click on the button "Create a new constructor" and add what you want to name generator, city and State
6 - click the 'X' to close the window (cannot do close in itself, but it's another question :-)))

What I'm trying to take place is the values just placed in the fields "New Builder" to appear in the generator element name on the original page.

The name of generator comes from the Select list.

I was able to get the elements of City Builder and generator of State filled but not the name. The name component is actually a concatenation of the Builder and the City Builder name if it is in the Select list or the constructor new pop-up window.

The new Builder does NOT appear in the list select after his return even though I would only it.

The process that is executed when you add a new constructor is an INSERT in the table that generates the select list and VALIDATION.

When a new constructor is added the STATUS column in the table generator is set on "HOLD", so I can identify as a generator again later in the process.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Internal environment is APEX 3.2.1.00.10

    -gary

I ended up not not using the pop-up as suggests.

Sometimes the solutions are too easy.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • What is the "correct" way to uninstall Windows 7?

Good evening community... what Microsoft (or anyone out there) consider means of correcting/official to uninstall Windows 7 from my desktop PC?

In the past, go all the way back to Windows 3.1 - Windows 98 - Windows ME - Windows XP - Windows Vista - and leading up to Windows 7, which is considered the 'official' Windows 7 Uninstall method (in my case Windows 7 Home Premium Retail Full Version)... I uninstalled Windows 7 by a variety of different methods, including 1) formatting the hard drive 2) a simple wiping of hard disk by using one of the many available software disks 3) or format the hard drive using the Windows disk.

There are probably other ways to uninstall Windows 7 that I mention mostly because I've never used but the 3 methods I mentioned in the previous paragraph.

    Thank you!!!

    Jimmy

There is no uninstall procedure itself, someone at - it 3 procedures you have listed will do. Personally I use the number of option 3.

    To format drive:

    1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7
    2. restart your computer
    3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
    4. Select your language, click Next.
    5. click on "repair your computer".
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair.

    7. click on the command line

    8. at the command prompt, type: FORMAT C: /.

    Press enter on your keyboard

    Type y for Yes

    Press enter

Please wait while the drive is formatted.

Type exit to close the command prompt, and then click farm to shut down the computer.

  • Change the drive letter of the system drive on Windows XP SP2

    Hello.

There is a certain task I want to accomplish, but I can't figure out how. Here's the situation:

I have 2 hard drives, each separated into 2 partitions. 1 disk partitions have the letters C: and G: assigned on them.

The drive 2 partitions receive letters D: and J: . I have two installations of Windows XP, one on disk 1 (C: partition) and the other on disk 2 (D: partition).

What I want to do is change the letter of the D: partition ( E: letter, even if it doesn't really) . As you probably know, Windows does not allow me to do that because D: is a system partition / boot. So, I was wondering if there is another way to achieve this, without risking damage to the system.

I would be grateful for any help.

You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect it came because you installed to C on disk 1, and then, without disconnecting the drive 1, installed to D on disc 2.

If you had unplugged disc 1 before installing the second XP on disc 2, the Windows partition on drive 2 would also named drive C. A clean re-installation of Windows on the drive with the drive disconnected 1 2 is the only way to remedy this I know.

When you reconnect the disk 1, it will assign other letters for the partitions on disk 2 and vice versa. Having established the two XPs, I would recommend that you delete the drive letters for the other XP system using disk management.

How do you dual-boot at the moment? By changing the BIOS hard drive boot order? Or by the manipulation of boot.ini file? EasyBCD should help with the latter, you can download the commercial version free from here...
