  So, I have the recovery password that I got from my mother's laptop so I can open the external drive into any computer on which BitLocker is installed. But I can't get it running on my computer, which is the one that I need to run it on, of course...

  I checked and analyzed all the forums of discussion and forums and methods for disabling BitLocker encryption on a drive. They all have this method super-easy show where you just have to connect the player to a computer on which BitLocker, and you plug in, you should see an option "disable Bitlocker", after a right click on the device, on the upper left as you have the device open, or via the control panel.   • Encryption has not been successfully completed. Maybe the disc has been disconnected during the encryption process.
  • The disk is not encrypted but corrupt.
