  I need to upgrade my ASUS laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium, fully licensed and the COA sticker. I went to the Microsoft site upgrade Express and bought a key specifically to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional W7HP.

  Thank you for that. I did some more research on the forums then rebooted my machine. The installation is completed successfully. I think that Microsoft should focus on this.
