"There is no connection available" on HP running win7

My laptop was working fine without any problem since I was a little more than two years. I just moved into a new House, and when I configure my laptop last night, there's no signal no network. Another laptop (mac) and two iPhones were always able to connect, so I know that's not the router because the internet worked when I plugged in an Ethernet cable.
Troubleshooting tells me that a network cable is disconnected or broken, but I do not use any.
I left it off overnight and when I turned on the computer this morning, he (wifi) has worked. I used it for about half an hour, close it and came back two hours later to a black screen. I restarted the computer and am having the problem again. A system restore nothing doesn't.
I don't know that the network card driver "Microsoft teredo tunneling adapter" has a code 10 error, but I don't know if that's the problem.

Hey@Lavalamp29,

Yes it is a permanent solution. Sometimes updating Microsoft directs you to another wireless network, and this can cause a problem. RALink RT5390 802.11.b/ g/n WiFi Adapter is one that is installed on your laptop for your product.

Be sure to mark the post accepted solution so that others can find the quick fix.

Thank you again have a good week.

  • "There is no connection available" even if there are available wifi connections.

When I started my PC a few weeks ago, and not automatically connecting to the wifi that he told me there is no connection available, although there was certainly available connections as I could connect on my laptop and the phone.

Online search I found several people who had had similar problems, but the only solution that worked, I found was temporary, in which case I would uninstall and delete the software of the driver for my Wireless LAN Card 802.11n, then do a system restore just before an update of windows 'critical' which was installed automatically when I shut down my PC last night.

This solve my problem and allow me to connect to wifi for 2 sessions on the computer, then the update would again settle and I wouldn't be able to detect an available connection again and repeat this process.

It is a gene, but it was the only solution that I could find online that worked for me, so I've set up with it, but now my Norton Internet Security plays up and I can not deal with both at the same time because the system restore undo the fix for Norton, so I need to properly resolve this.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    (I use windows 7 btw).

Please change your Windows Update setting to NEVER.  This will prevent this automatic update, which is a very bad idea in the atmosphere of Windows Update today.

Here are some tips on how to make Windows Update for August:

When the updates in Windows Update, see if you can find an update of the driver for your wireless network.  If it is there, right-click on it and choose hide.

Go to the support web site OEM and updates the driver your computer's wireless.  It is the only source of updated, driver that you should consider, other than the Intel drivers update utility.

    (a) press Windows + R keys to open search Run

    (b) type regedit , and then click ok

    go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BFE

    c) on the right, click it, click permissions

    (d) click on ADD and type everyone and click ok

    (e) now click on all

    (f) below, you have permissions for users, select full control and click ok

g keys) press Windows + R to open Run Search

    (h) type services.msc , and then click ok

    (i) double-click base filtering engine service.

    (j) Make sure that the service status is started and the startup type is automatic

    (k) the procedure for the windows firewall service

    (l) click on apply and Ok.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information:

  • Not connected, no connection available.

I am using windows 7 on my pc. I get no connection available and a red x on the right lower side of my screen. I realize there are a lot of posts about it, but I have read a majority of them and none of them helped me to solve this problem. • FireSIGHT there only vmware image available?

    Hello

FireSIGHT there only vmware image available?  Is there another virtualization support such as Citrix platform? or the available installation package?

    Thank you!

This is only available for and supported on VMware ESXi. 5.1 and 5.5 specifically from that moment.

One guy had posted by train and by failing to operate correctly even on ESXi 6.0, much less any other virtualization platform.

I have had several clients to seek assistance of Hyper-v and passed it to Cisco for a year without a bit of luck so far.

You can run on the free version of ESXi, if that helps.

I suggest you to check if there is no wireless or mobile network\devices which can interfere with the wireless network and remove if there is.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to download and install the latest network driver on the manufacturer's Web site and check if it helps.

  • Can I use vista drivers or are there drivers Win 7 available, you want to upgrad DV6-129TX for Win 7,.

I have a Pavilion DV6129TX running Windows XP Pro. I intend to upgrade the disk to a 5400 RPM 100GB to a 7200 RPM 500 GB and also upgrade the operating system. I prefer Windows 7 32 bit but HP customer care advice was that there are no drivers to support hardware on this laptop to run win7. I have a copy of Vista spare laying around so I'm more than happy to use it as I know that Vista was an option on this laptop, but as I said, the 7 is my favorite option. Someone can tell me if I can switch to Win7 and use Vista drivers or are their drivers available to run Win7? I ran the Win7 Upgrade Advisor and the only program which, appears, will have problems is HP QuickPlay.

Look in the templates section of level 3 in theWin 7 Upgrade Guide , you should be fine with Win 7 better than Vista.

I've seen a few problems reported with hard disk of 500 GB on these older laptops. No problem with 320 GB.

    can someone help out me.

    Thank you very much.

    hihiy

I don't think you can, you need to turn your TC to eval too, and before we do, your VC should not exceeded calclation eval of 60 days from the first day, it has been installed.

BTW, since you have valid VC 2.5 license, and is not the Foundation of VC, why don't you showing your ESX with eval license server to license? Add then the two ESX to your existing VC?

I don't know if this is the problem, but it is something that must be correct establish a secure connection:

Open Date and time preferences system, Date & time tab. Make sure that it is set to automatically set the time.

Alternatively, make sure that your date/time is correctly set to the second.

Another thing to try is to restart your modem and router.
