ThinApp Excel 2007 and opened a specified excel files list

I would like to know if there is a way to Thinapp Excel 2007 and opened only a list of specified excel file and or directory.

No, you assign application for file extension and there is no way to limit it only to some files.

    Hello.

    IM developing a widget that opens up to a distance of webfilehttp://11.11.11.11/myHtmlPage.aspx. I need it to be available offline that I have but I would like to put the HTML on my SD card.

    My question is. How to save the file with all its html and how can I open it so that it opens as a Web page.

    Here is a code snippet which does not really. (he opens the file stored on the sd card, all right but with the text http://11.11.11.11/myHtmlPage.aspx instead of the html code that was in the original file

    var

    filePath = file:///SDCard/myDataFile.html;

    function

    openFile() {}

    blackberry.io.file.readFile (filePath, readFile);

    }

    function

    {saveFile()}

    object var blackberry.utils.stringToBlob = blob ('http://11.11.11.11/myHtmlPage.aspx'); ("' saved file");

    blackberry.io.file.saveFile (filePath, blob);

    }

    I think the problem lies in the following snippet:

    var blob = blackberry.utils.stringToBlob('http://11.11.11.11/myHtmlPage.aspx');"file saved");

    stringToBlob does not have an HTTP request for the value you provide.  It turns out some string that is received in a blob object.

    You will need to use XmlHttpRequst to make a Web request to the given page and then use the results of this HTTP response in the call to the stringToBlob method.

    Does that make more sense?

    See you soon!

  • Why do I suddenly have 2 editions of Word in my computer? And they have all my files listed. How can I delete one without losing all my files?

    When I open a file to someone else, yesterday, he downloaded a second edition of Word on my computer.  I deleted the icon, but she returned when I connected again, taking several minutes to open.  I can only find an edition of Word basics.  But the two icons take me to the Word program, and two, I see all my files.  What should I do, please?

    Hi Chris,

    I see that you have problems with more than a word icon. I'll help you with this problem.

    Please ensure that only one icon is present on the desktop. You can remove the icon of other words. Remove the icon will not affect documents that you have created.

    You need to right click the icon you want to remove and select Delete. This will remove the icon on the desktop and move it to the trash. You can empty the trash later.

    I hope this helps.

  • ThinAPPed Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 - who wins?

    Hello everyone.

    I have a curious question to submit.

    I use ThinApp 5.0 in a test environment.

    I created an application with ThinApp with Excel 2007. Everything is OK, the application and Excel 2007 work perfectly and there is no problem with ThinApp (Excel 2007 is used in this application ONLY and cannot interact with anything).

    The problem arises when I have 'transport' of ThinAPPed enforcement in an environment where Excel 2010 is already installed.

    If I double-click a. Xls file, the file is loaded from Excel 2010 = Correct.

    If I run the application Excel 2007 (ThinApp) and explore and I click two times on a. Xls file, the file is loaded from Excel 2007 =?

    If I run Excel 2007 (ThinAPP), Excel 2010 and Explorer double click on a. Xls file, the file is always loaded from Excel 2007 =?

    The question is: How can I force to open the files. XLS (or other) Excel 2010 always and forever (even if charged) of Excel 2007 in ThinApp?

    Already test:

    Package.ini = file types = deleted .xls and .xlsx for [Microsoft Excel 2007.exe]

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.txt = deleted all .xls and .xlsx

    ChildProcessEnvironmentDefault = external

    Thank you.

    OK, I found the problem.

    With Office 2007 and Office 2010 introduces a new "feature" that allows you to open documents on the same instance open.

    To fix (it is more accurate to say "escape") I used "Open in a new instance", explained on this link: http://ptihosting.com/blog/it-blog/force-excel-20072010-to-open-in-Separate-window/

    In practice, by pressing the button on the DX. Xls file, it seems "Open in a new instance" and the file is still open in Excel 2010.

    I hope this can help others with the same "problem".

  • Call and open an external Excel with exec system vi

    Hello!

    I would like to know how I could call and open an external Excel with the exec system vi. I am able to call a txt file, but I can't do it with an excel file...

    Thank you very much in advance.

    It should work like any other file, it opens in the default program for the file extension that if you double click on it.  Here is an example if code that I use.

  • When open my photo album file and clicking on a photo to see the excel program opens the image viewer.

    I open an email with pictures.  When I click on the photo attached to the view, the excel program opens and not the image viewer.

    One of photo accessories save somewhere you can find it (for example, your desktop computer).
    Right-click on the file that you saved and select open with, then select "Choose program" (at the bottom of the context menu).

    If the program you want to use is listed as one of the "recommended programs", select it, click on the box to "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and click OK.

    If you want to use the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to view photos (personally, I like free IrfanView better) AND it is NOT listed as a program "recommended" or under "Other programs", follow the instructions below:

    in Windows Explorer:

    • On the Tools menu, click folder... Options
    • Click the File Types tab.
    • Scroll down to the extension that you like, for example "JPG".
    • Press the restore button, if it exists.
    • Press the Advanced button.
    • Click the Open action.
    • Click on change...
    • In the Application used to perform action: enter C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1. "C:\WINDOWS" is the directory that contains your Windows installation.
    • Press OK

    You'll want to repeat for each extension (GIF, JPG, JPEG, etc.) for which you want to change the behavior.

    How can I have access to a remedy for this problem?

    .docx and doc are Microsoft Word files. xls files are Microsoft Excel files.
    The reason why you can not open them is probably that you don't have Microsoft Office or any compatible application installed.

    Despite what you think apparently, Windows 8, nor any other version of Windows, has never included Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, nor any other significant application software. These programs must be purchased, either by themselves or as part of Microsoft Office.

    If your old computer, running Windows 7, came up with one or more of them, it was because the seller who sold delivered as part of the package he has sold, not because this version of Windows came with it. Sellers of some, but not all, do the same with Windows 8 computers (but if they do, it is very likely that a trial version).

  • Slow opening Excel file with MACRO and links from network on the Desktop view file server compare to physical PC

    Hi guys,.

    It's a weird thing.

    I just encountered a very strange problem when you open one of the excel files located on a Linux Samba Shared running file server.

    My laptop physics has a Dual Core 2 Duo 2.27 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.

    My Desktop view has 2 vCPU (UC from host to 2.99 GHz/Core with base 16), 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

    Note: The Desktop view is located on the FusionIO card locally on the server, so it is lightning fast.

    When I open excel file from my physical office, need you 3 seconds to open and 5 seconds to enable the content (because it is a big xls file with a bunch of MACRO and LINKS to a different worksheet)

    When I opened that same excel view Desktop file, it takes you 18 seconds to open and 1 minute to activate the content.

    Anyone happened to have the same problem with their environment to experience?

    Do you mind sharing some tips to solve this?

    Finally, be able to locate the problem.

    It was Sophos EndPoint AV for vShield that I deployed for assessment.

    Once I turned off politics, everything is back to normal.

    Couldn't believe that via vShield endpoint was causing all this because I tried Symantec and BitDefender for vShield before and no problem at all.

    Well.

    I hope that Sophos or VMware vShield team has a solution for me.

    Nice day!

  • Problem opening Excel files through shortcuts

    I had a problem with Excel and Vista I can not back down to the coast. A lot of research but can not find an answer. I tried saving the file associations for Excel but doesn't seem to be the cause of the route of the question.

    Problem...
    If I open an Excel file in Excel 2007, all is well. However if I try to open the same file by double clicking it from the Explorer or Office Excel reports an error that the file cannot be found. The same problem does not occur with a different username on the same installation on Vista.

    Any ideas?

    See if this helps:

    1. Start Microsoft Excel.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    3. On the general tab, clear (uncheck) ""ignore other applications ' and then click OK. "
    4. Quit Excel.
