THIS COPY OF WINDOWS in NOT ACTIVE but no activation Wizard message
Our Lenovo computers (PC has been used for two or three years) began to show the message that "this copy of windows is not enabled, in order to be properly operated under license from this copy must be enabled ' but I didn't activate the windows option in system tools and can not run the command to start the Activation Assistant. Tried to call support and after I explained all this to several people, the last person to take my call gave me activation line which I couldn't use sinceI can not run the Activation Assistant. I tried a tool to re - enter the product key in case that was the problem, but the key is the same that has already been registered. Don't know what else to do.

Our office has crashed to? virus? Back at the plant level. Desktop did not come with a recovery for XP Professional disk. Recovery disc of "Notebook", then was able to install XP w/Service Pack 2, I had previously bought from Best Buy. System would not accept the 'code' of XP discs, so I had to use the 'code' on the desktop (Code belonged to the XP Professional)
Thought everything was OK until the next day received a notification "this copy of Windows is not activated. In order to hold an appropriate license, this copy of Windows must be enabled.Whatever that means & what is my next step? After a restart/virus scan (after the large recent Windows Update Microsoft), I see on the background one right part of my screen:
Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.
I looked at the system screen and it shows only: Windows is activated.
I ran Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool, and it shows:
Validation status: genuine
Validation code: 0N/a for resolution state (probably because he thinks that the installation is correct).
Don't know what the issue is here? Does anyone know a fix for this? I would rather have not shut down the system after 30 days of work!
Thank you!According to the report that you have posted, you should not see a non-genuine problem - the report is clean.
If you are indeed to see a non-genuine notification, then is that from time to time, or is this all the time?
If it is present only from time to time, you have a race condition - and those can be a nightmare to solve, because they disappear as soon as you look at :) They are often caused by antivirus programs in conflict with other programs running
If it is there all the time, then try the following.
Vista license store is perhaps damaged or its data can be ruined somehow. Please try the steps below to re-create the store with the correct data.
(1) open an Internet browser window.
(2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
(3) find the CMD.exe file
(4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
(5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
(6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
(7) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
(8) type: cd %windir%\system32
(9) type: net start slsvc
(10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
(11) restart your computer twice.
(12) you may need to enter you product key and activate it. -

The activation window is empty. XP Pro SP3 + System (2 updates the version) beta of SP4 added due to problems of program. Build 2600.xpsp + sp3_gdr_101209-1647(Service Pack 3). Problem started after the replacement of the boot hard drive that wasn't. New drive has been a ghost of the old boot copy and active. Having the disk key and product to install but the CD won't deal with any problems indicating that the version of the program is different, probably because of upgrades SP. After upgrades of hardware, XP says that this copy of windows is not activated
When I start the computer, I get a message that says that the product is not registered. I have had several problems with my computer and required updates of many facilities. I have the disk of windows XP Professional with the product key. When I try to activate the product, it is said that his already in service. It does not need to activate the product when you go to the System Tools menu by following the instructions. This can be corrected?

The other windows of day did an automatice update and now the above message appears at the bottom right of my office. However, it is a true copy and it is enabled.
How can I get rid of this message.
EDIT: The problem seems to be resolved now
Your report looks very good.
The problem is probably due to a race condition that temporarily blocked the operation License Service - including the system then interpreted as an attack on WGA and so marked. Often a reboot clears it, or it disappears when the system is a new trial.
It may have been a series of updates to .NET the cause - they tend to become pretty much the processor upon restart, while they re - optimize.

Lost Windows 7 Activation, get the message this copy of Windows is not genuine
I took computer at Staples after I turned off my computer when Windows 10 attempted to settle without my consent. I lost everything, but the Staples technicians have been able to get all the return after a "factory reset". Now 30 days after I plugged everything back up and reinstall all my software, I get message "this copy of Windows is not genuine". Also the popup that says: "you can be a victim of software counterfeiting." I called Staples and they said ' don't not to reply to the message to repair Windows and it's probably a scam ', and I had to bring my new computer (I is not happy that Staples course does not resolve Windows 7 in the first place because I now get these warnings). My question is: can I trust the message that says to go on this web site to repair Windows? Also, after the upgrade to Windows 10 for a long time, I am now wants to just go ahead if it makes me this problem... How do I do that?
