  Solved my problem by running the restore of the system in safe mode.  This problem was caused by a Microsoft update that plays well with Windows 7 - it put an end to all parts of Windows troubleshooting and caused this problem of system restore.  I suspect that it also created some havoc with Silverlight too.  So, before launching system restore I changed the way I let Microsoft give me updates - now they can download, but not unless I let them.  Of course, I have absolutely no way of knowing what updates to install and which not to install, I think that I will not install anything unless I 'hear' some chitter-chatter on the net something.

  I'm trying to access an online simulation via MyMIS Lab of Pearson for a class online. I was using this simulation a couple of days, but when I logged on this morning, the simulation does not open. Change False and Django will display a 500 standard page. I have no idea what Django settings are and have studied how to change the setting, but I'm not familiar with this at all.   I saw that others have problems with the recovery discs, especially Vista recovery disks - not really why. Most of your Vista drivers will work on Windows 7. You can explore disks and find installers. Or you can download the drivers for your model support page. I searched but could not find one for the model you specified-dr9225nr-are you sure it's the right model?
