  We have configured our Cisco devices to use Windows 2008 network POLICY server for RADIUS.  However, we cannot configure aaa represents priv 15 commands to use the same radius servers for recording of commands in privileged mode.  When you set up by using the following command:

  AAA commands 15 arrhythmic default accounting RADIUS_SERVERS group

  I noticed that there is only GANYMEDE + servers 'group' categories and optional.  After entering the server radius group, I realized that the command is not saved and by inspecting the logs I saw the following:

  The 'MF_RAD' server group is not a Ganymede server group. Please define "RADIUS_SERVERS" as a Ganymede server group.

  This means that the function of accounting 'orders' (and probably most others) can be activated only when you use a GANYMEDE Server +?

  You're absolutely right. Accounting command only works with Ganymede. We cannot have the command for the radius Protocol accounting. RADIUS accounting only gives you start and stop sessions package.

• Application server will not start when Oracle ProcMGR connection goes to a network account

  I'm building a new PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 with 8.54 Peopletools environment.  Initially, I created my application server and ORACLE ProcMGR service account was set to local system account.  I need to change this user to a network account.  I have the network of the local system administrators group account.  I did that the user has read/write access to the home of PS and PS config directoies.  After changing the user in the ORACLE ProcMGR service, I can no longer boot my app server.  I get a message that "internal error: CMDTUX_CAT:1098 error: cant create queue.  If I change the local service account, the application server will start.  What should I do to be able to change logon service to a network account?

  I work in a corporate environment that is mainly based on Windows, but also have a handful of Macs and a Mac server. The question I have is that the MacBook display the prompt "network accounts are not available" when connecting. This message disappears when the VLAN from requiring authentication on our firewall device, MACs are to be excluded.

  I thought my our support company firewall that Macs are a kind of test at startup. If they do not have full access to internet NETWORK card wireless goes into a State of semi functioning. It is only when they have access to the internet it goes into a fully operational.

  It makes sense when the "network accounts are unavailable" message, I can't SSH in the Mac, but can't ping the IP addresses of our DC, ping any name FULL domain or ping any device outside the VIRTUAL LAN. Does exactly the same as this -after-reboot-no-route-to-host http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/231290/mac-unable-to-login-network-user

  Our company firewall just remember exactly what service performs this function on the Mac. Anyone know what it's called?

  During his execution, rc.boot and the other rc source of scripts /etc/rc.common , a shellscript that contains utility functions, such as CheckForNetwork() (check if the network is in place), GetPID() , purgedir() (Directory deletes the content only, not the structure), etc.

• iCloud library is not available if the system library is located on a network file server

  I moved my library on an external hard drive, that drive is directly connected to my router via the USB port.

  I can make pictures to my library of photos and pictures of charge very well. I've set the library to serve the library system:

  I have the ability to connect this external hard drive to an iMac which is used as a server, I just prefer not, but if it's the only option I want.

  That's right - the library needs (for iCLoud, use of the library and for the safe operation) to be on a local wired connection - may not be on a network connection

  I finished the installation of a new KDL60EX701 TV and the network adapter USB UWA-BR100 to connect to my network wireless home successfully. As noted, I went to the network icon to activate the features improved and found my registration code. Yet once, as stated, I tried to log on to www.internet.sony.tv without success. I've connected to sony.com and couldn't find a place to create Sony Style Network account through which, I suppose, I would use my registration code to access the different features available on my new TV Online.   I would look using the roles of guests maybe instead.  You can create those navigating on your WLC to Wireless-> QoS-> roles.

  I haven't used this method on a customer network, come in my lab.  The method that I mentioned earlier has been in production on customer networks.

  With the vWLC, you should use local switching, so it should be ok.  Or, if you use an anchor WLC in the demilitarized zone, then your user limit is based on this platform WLC.

  Yes, you can.  You just need to configure different AAA accounting group/tag on network devices and pointing to the accountability that server (in most primary server authentication/accounting).

  This is done through Managed Service Providers (MSP) all the time.

  If you have a Pop email account, it can only e-mail access and download from the server Inbox.

  It's not a quirk of Thunderbird, all pop e-mail accounts have the same any e-mail client.

  To work around this problem:
  In Thunderbird:
  Move all inbox emails in other appropriate folders.
  Delete emails you don't want to.
  When the Inbox is empty, do a right-click on the Inbox folder, then select "compact".

  A browser webmail account login.
  Move all emails "Sent" in the Inbox.

  In Thunderbird
  Click Get Messages
  and download your emails "Sent" in the Inbox.
  Then move all emails in your "Sent" Thunderbird folder.

• Deskjet 5940 or Deskjet D4360 network print server

  I would like to find a cheap USB to ethernet edge server printing for my Deskjet 5940 printer so that I can share it between three PC.  Even if I can find a number of devices for sale on the Internet, it seems that they are usually only compatible with certain printers.  For example the IOGear GPSU21 (http://www.iogear.com/product/GPSU21/) seems an attractive choice, its compatibility list at

  lists many Deskjet printers, but not the 5940.  Other manufacturers do not yet provide compatibility information.  Can anyone recommend a similar print server that is compatible with my printer?  I also own an HP printer deskjet D4360 I could use instead, but it has the same compatibility issue.  Thanks for any help!

  The first and third items you mention are wireless, not ethernet. The second element has a parallel printer USB port no. The last three items are pluggable EIO. None of them are similar itmes for IOGear device that I mentioned. I will accept as your mention of IOGear unit solution, but if you check Amazon customers and other user forums, it seems that 50% of chance that "any network printer" cannot be obtained for work, where my original question.

• Groups on a joint network with Server 2003, Windows 7 and XP

  I have a network of small business running off an old server running Windows server 2003.  The workstations are 7 machines of Windows 7 and XP 3.  I would set up a group to easily share files not related to the common programme currently running on the server as well as share printers more easily, but have een advised by an "expert" do not do, as it network program (medical office) my will suffer. Including the old labels dymo and lexmark printer sharing is a pain though it might be easier thanks to the homegroup.  I should have updated the drivers on all computers by using the printers or only those connected via usb? If I need to change the workgroup name? I know that XP machines cannot participate in the home group, but we can work around this problem.

  The bottom line is that homegroup can be used with Windows 7 computers. You must set up a joint working group to share files/printers between the XP Win 7 machines. Insofar as the server running W2K3 domain?

  How can I change the settings of the server to an e-mail account?

  I tried to add a Service account for Time Warner Road Runner and incorrectly specified incoming and outgoing servers.
