  As far as I know that's not used such mechanical volume on older models of computers laptops, but electronically part controlled by software, so the only thing you can do is to test the functionality with the settings and see if the problem will be the same.

  If you had a problem with the VGA chip then the whole motherboard has been replaced.

  Anyway, as far as I know you don t need any special drivers if you want to use the MCE Remote control. For the use of the remote control with Qosmio player you need to connect a USB infrared.

  The client calls the support and we "resolved" the issue. The TestStand sequence works fine when I recompiled the LabVIEW VI in 2015 (I just recorded it). Don't forget to reload the prototype VI in TestStand when you recompil it.

  But I noticed that it did not work with LabVIEW 2014 SP1. The client uses LabVIEW 2012 SP1, we finally concluded that the problem has been resolved with LabVIEW 2015 but not with the previous version. The client therefore had to find a workaround to select the right .dmc file.
