Time warp by image source?

How to use this?

I want a portion of a clip to expand at some point, I know I can use other than temporal methods. But I want to try different settings I see associated with time. The documentation says set by source is to set a time where an image is supposed to happen. Large. How do I do that? If I type an image number in the control of the source image, it does? How can I specify which frame occur at a specific time?

I have the 2nd step backward. And the clip doesn't change length as I thought, he does.

Image source seems to be the frame that is moved. Executives before the source image dilate or contract. After the source image frames moving uniformly without expanding or contracting. But the length of the composition remains the same.

So, if you move the image source ahead in time, the end of the clip becomes truncated.

If you move the source image backwards in time, the last image of the end of the clip is duplicated to fill the length of the composition.

Various tutorial videos I watched all explained that, but it did not register in my mind.

Once things appeared to work, by looking at the graph editor has helped me understand what was going on.

If your point is not 0, when you activate first timewarp, the compose window shows image 0, while the chassis number of your publication is always the image in the sequence points. This shows that the source image is the framework that will be moved to the location of the playhead.

That's what I did:

Set in point and out point images and create a publication.

Lengthen or shorten the composition in proportion with where you move the source image. You can do this before or after setting the keyframes.

For example, here's what I did to set a point in the clip of contracting and shorten the composition:

The point 219 and out value - point to 338

Create a composition of selection.

Change composition settings so that the length goes from 120 to 90.

With the playhead to 219, activate timewarp

Expand the scope of the effect in the composition Panel. Expand timewarp.

Together to adjust the time of the source image

Activate the animation (click on the stopwatch). A keyframe is created.

In the image source field, type 219 and press to enter.

Move the playhead to 240

Click the diamond icon in the image source line to create the central key frame.

Type 270 in the image source field, and press ENTER.

Move the playhead to 308

Set a keyframe and enter 338 as the source image

At this point, the out point is still 338. So, if you forgot how to add or subtract you can can go to the out point to find the number of source image.

The composition has now been distorted.

  • Time warp cutting video

    HI - new CC 2015 user - I saw similar posts, but apparently it's a sensitive issue.

    I have a bunch of 24 p raw video shot with a Canon 5 d Mk III with a shutter speed of about 320 (I'll just pretend someone gave me all these pictures.) Don't ask. lol)

    The shots are crisp and beautiful, but when image sequences are read, they look too bad that you'd never guess they would. Strobe-y and strange. Almost accelerated.

    I would like to restore the filmic aspect to these videos that was intended, and some people have had luck with the motion blur and temporal towers.

    One of the first plugins I tried was simply time warp, with its own internal motion blur added, and I think we can live with that if I never do better.

    The problem is, if I had to define time to, say 50% of the speed, I expect my video to double length of reading, since it's reading of half as long. As many people have pointed out, he doesn't do this by default. Instead, I just lost the second half of my movie entirely, so the duration of the clip can be stored.

    I created a copy of the demo, by following the instructions to do it in another thread, and after time deformation the demo, I'm in the same exact position. As instructed, I should be able to slide/extend the clip to the new length, but it is not available.

    Instead, no matter what I try, critical seconds of each clip are not recoverable when time warp is applied.

    What I am doing wrong? Why time wouldn't have an option like "the clip duration is relative to the time warp speed setting" or something like that?

    I have no other option to try? The blur of movement CC on its own was not really setting my shutter problem. Time Warp really seems to be the answer if I can keep these full clips over the 'chain '.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Bah! Now I see in yet a different thread-enable time remapping effect - click with the right button on the item in your montage, select time > enable Time Remapping - THEN drag the point of your output as needed.

  • Sometimes they have a hard time capture the image on a physical machine

    Hello

    Last night I had a hard time getting the image on a physical computer.  The machine is a windows 200 advanced server with Service Pack 4.  Last week, I was able to do it without any problem with the same thing.  I was finally able to capture the image after that I went into control manual (Add/Remove Programs) and remove the agent then rebooted. Has started the process more.

    The log file is attached. I'm just curious as to why the problem occurred.  I used the Converter 3.0.3.

    TNT

    It could be a problem with the version of the converter that you use. Of the 3.0.3 release notes, in the section "problems":

    New that task fails for source machine remote Windows when navigating backwards in the Conversion Wizard

    When the following circumstances are present, the physical source computer does not restart:

    • You are remote hot cloning a source of Windows 2000 or Windows NT4 machine

    • The agent is installed on the source machine, but the system has not yet been restarted

    • You change the selection in the source and change to the original source before clicking on finish in the Conversion Wizard

    In this scenario, the task will fail with an instant failure error message. The reboot is required to start the snapshot on the source remote machine service if this converter can take the snapshot of the machine.

    You can try to use the 4.0 version converter and see if you can reproduce the error.

  • Help or advice on the Time Warp?

    I read only a few Q & as on this disorder and none have been posted for 2011, so I am seeking help.

    I try to use Time Warp for slow motion on a clip (supported a GH2 of Panasonic, AVCHD, HD 1080 24 p file, .mts).

    I add a second clip 4 to the layer which is trimmed a clip, say 30 seconds in total. I want only the 4-second clip to be idle.

    I dial before the second clip 4 and extend this model to 8 seconds. I apply Time Warp and the clip has been slowed by 50% (default speed), but the clip is only 4 seconds of time. And, unlike others who have had this problem, there is no way to pull the clip to the right to see the rest of the sequence of slowdown.

    And here's another even more interesting, that I got when you try this. After you apply the Time Warp, the clip was changed at the beginning of the clip, not the section of 4 seconds I had cut out for.

    I've seen the advice I want to export files in another format (Animation, etc.) which is more 'user-friendly' to Time Warp. What I did, but seems so much work when dealing with a video project composed of 50-70 clips, about 1/3 I need to add slow mo.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3205394

    I saw advice to activate the time-remapping on the compound layer before, but that did nothing for me.

    And I also saw the advice to "close" images as many times as you add time (2,200 and 3 300).

    So, my questions are:

    (1) are there new information on the use of Time Warp? Some button or a workflow that faithfully clips slowed. It's very frustrating to export clips from first in a new format, while put in AE and then export this clip and re - import in first. Ugh!

    (2) would be this something to do with the timecode? It seems to me that the Time Warp will just at the beginning of the clip, rather than keeping the clip Garni in points who wants a Publisher.

    (3) to change the speed of the layer option: does not seem to produce queries slo smooth and silky as Time Warp. True? (I think).

    Thanks for any advice/ideas that can be shared.

    Shiny CJ.  It drove me batty!  The effect of TW does not very intuitively.

  • Using the key "relative to" whenever I try to edit an image source

    Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows 7.

    When you change an existing existing image on a web page in Dreamweaver by double-clicking the existing image on the page to open the Source Panel to select the Image, I have to toggle the ' Relative to ' (the Site root / Document) button for each image.

    In other words, say that when you use Design mode, I want to replace img1.jpg with img3.jpg and IMG2.jpg with img4.jpg, the steps I have to take are:

    1 double-click on img1.jpg on the page to open the Panel select Image Source.

    2. Select img3.jpg.

    3. click on the relative to the button at the bottom of the Panel and change it so she is on (root Site, let's say) to the other option (Document).

    4, and then click OK.

    5 double click on img2.jpg on the page...

    6. Select img4.jpg

    7. Select the other option (the SIte root) in the Relative to the drop-down list

    8. then click OK

    9. Repeat for each image whose source is changed.  If one is from the root of the Site, the other must be relative to the Document, then the next time I have to select the root of the Site, etc..

    If I don't select the other relative to the option, the path of the source image will not change when I click OK.

    Default site definition link is located in the Document.

    It has been like this for weeks now, and it starts to get boring.  Any ideas?

    From memory, this could be a bug not resolved with DW CS4 and Windows 7

  • Hero SDK - issue image source

    This is my first post on the site, however, I found many solutions to the problems of navigation on these forums.

    My problem is the following:

    I'm trying to create a list using an itemRenderer and it generated just well and most of the functionality works very well.  The problem is the image.  Everything else works (IE. The product name, quantity, etc.) using {data. Name of the node in XMLList}

    < s:Panel width = "200" height = "250" borderVisible = "false" chromeColor = "#2D455D" color = "#FFFFFF" cornerRadius = "10" fontSize = "16" title = "data.product_name}" >

    < s:Image = "5" width = "75" height = "75" horizontalCenter = "0" source = "{data.image_source}" / > "
    < s:Label x = '6' y = '88' color = "#000000" fontSize = "10" text = "retail price:" / >
    < s:Label x = "10" y = "106" color = "#000000" fontSize = "14" text = "Our price" / >
    < s:Label id = "retail_price" x = "70" y = "88" color = "#000000" fontSize = text = "${data.retail_price}" / "10" >
    < s:Label id = "our_price" x = "70" y = "106" color = "#000000" fontSize = text = "${data.our_price}" / "14" >
    < s:TextInput = "12" x = "145" height = "62" color = "#000000" text = "{data.image_source}" / >

    < / s:Panel >

    The image works fine if I put in a direct link (ie. ) http://www.somedomain.com/someimage.jpg ).  I did an Alert.show to make sure I was getting the correct link on data.image_source and I am indeed.  I can copy the alert message and paste it into a browser and the image comes back immediately.

    Then after that I couldn't get this to work I decided to take a step back and just do a simple example.  Basically just tried to set an image source using an xml result.  I did in Flash Builder 4 and Flex 3 without any problems whatsoever.

    However, in Flash Builder Burrito using SDK Hero can't seem to set the source of an image by using a value of xml at all.  I am baffeled by here and have tried everything I can think of to debug this without any result.

    protected function get_panel_products_service_resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):void

    {
    panels_xml = new XMLList (event.result.product);

    Image 1 - Direct link
    Alert.Show ("BEFORE:" + my_img.source); RETURN FRONT: null
    my_img.source = " " http://blog.internetnews.com/skerner/SMK/TestPilot.PNG "; "
    Alert.show ("AFTER:" + my_img.source);  RETURNS AFTER: http://blog.internetnews.com/skerner/smk/testpilot.png . IMAGE

    Image 2 - XML result
    Alert.Show ("BEFORE:" + my_img2.source); RETURN FRONT: null
    Alert.show ("XML Source of Image:" + panels_xml.image_source); RETURNS XML Source Image: http://blog.internetnews.com/skerner/smk/testpilot.png
    my_img2.source = panels_xml.image_source;
    Alert.show ("AFTER:" + my_img2.source); RETURNS AFTER: http://blog.internetnews.com/skerner/smk/testpilot.png . NO IMAGE
    }

    So basically even if the source print the same for each method to do the assignment, only my_img is displayed.  my_img2 has never at any time.

    Any ideas?

    Almost all XML and XMLList queries return an another XMLList.  Often, it becomes

    Auto-converti in a string, but some components such as Image and BitmapImage

    anything as a source will be so no auto-coercition takes place.

    Try: my_img2.source = panels_xml.image_source.toString ();

  • Imaging Source DFG/SV1 acquisition card is not correctly recognized in LabVIEW 2009

    I have an Imaging Source DFG/SV1 frame grabber/capture card (I think that this example uses a Bt878 chip) that I am using with LabVIEW 2009 (Fall edition 2009 academic Site license), including elements of acquisition of vision (NEITHER Vision, NOR-IMAQ (4.3) OR-IMAQdx (3.4), etc.). I have all the latest sources of imagery support drivers and software for the Board of Directors (http://www.theimagingsource.com/en_US/products/grabbers/dfgsv1/ drivers: v6.0.3.0, IC Software v2.1 and IC Imaging Control v3.1) with drivers being compatible DirectShow. The DFG/SV1 is detected in MAX under devices NOR-MAQdx / DFG/SV1 / cam0 and I can grab and preview images, however to 320 x 240 resolution, I have a higher resolution camera and know that the jury is capable of greater resolution using IC software manufacturing and also via TWAIN with ImageJ software drivers. Interesteingly, if I try to acquire an image of the card purchase using the Vision Assistant, the DFG/SV1 card is not recognized as a card acquisition, but listed under IEEE 1394 or GigE peripheral, revealing with it being direct device that I can't understand. Despite this I can acquire images, but I am limited to 320 x 240 format and change the type of image (RGB, UYVY etc) causes an error. Once again, oddly enough, I can use "enter and select mode example VI" which should only be compatible with IEEE 1394 cameras.

    I'm not sure why LabVIEW is not seen this card properly, I contacted Imaging source who were also intrigued by the fact.

    Any information on how this could be resolved would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi OCastell,

    With this Council Imaging Source, the only interface supported with drivers of NI Vision Acquisition is through using IMAQdx DirectShow interface. It is possible that their DirectShow driver does not properly support all of the capabilities of their Council. Given that ICR software and TWAIN support can be routed to a different implementation of one of the DirectShow support, you can see the different features available. Unfortunately, you probably go through Imaging Source to determine why their DirectShow driver does not support the full resolution. You can confirm that it isn't IMAQdx this limiting trying other software such as Windows NetMeeting or AMCAP DirectShow and see what capture resolutions are listed.

    Because the DirectShow interface is managed by IMAQdx driver, it will not be detected as a framegrabber IMAQ using the IMAQ driver. This is expected since it fits in the same category as firewire and GigE Vision cameras and is supported with the IMAQdx driver instead.

    The "Grab and select the Mode" example VI isn't really specific FireWire, although he was certainly intended to highlight the various video modes that generally expose FireWire cameras. Since the DirectShow devices are similar and have several selectable video modes, it's why he's probably working. In any case, IMAQdx abstracts usually differences between all supported camera types and in general a single VI can run on all cameras IMAQdx-taking in charge unless you rely on buses or the camera-specific features.

    Regarding Vision Assistant marking the camera as 'IEEE 1394 or GigE', I think it's just an aesthetic issue (which may already be fixed in new versions). When IMAQdx was out, these are the supported types of cameras and so Vision Assistant was trying to say clearly what driver was used for the type of device. Now that IMAQdx supports a multitude of new interfaces (including DirectShow and some IP cameras) that the label is inaccurate.

    Finally, looking at the specs for this capture card, it looks like a standard reference BT878/848 model and then you could try potentially replace your Imaging Source driver with one here:

    http://BTWinCap.sourceforge.NET/

    I used this with a with IMAQdx BT878 capture card and can get it to capture an image full resolution (but of course, your results may vary...). It goes without saying that this solution using DirectShow is much more limited than using an industrial camera on 1394/firewire or a framegrabber IMAQ.

    Hope this helps,

    Eric

    Yes, its working very well. This image is in a picture file in a project itself.

    Same thing I want to do this the image url.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    a. you only see the image in preview if encode you this url in amx?

    b. can you try to add *. iconbug.* whitelist and try. (You can do this MAF - application.xml-> Security-> remote URL whitelist)

  • Time warp effect, went into CS5.5?

    Sorry to ask these basic questions that may have already been answered earlier, but I'm new on PP.

    I came across a tutorial on the time warp effect. However, it was for CS4. Apparently this effect was not brought forward to CS5.

    Fix?

    It seems that there is a temporal distortion effect in After Effects. Is it the same effect as that used to be in first?

    If I get After effects, After Effects (for example, timewarp) will be available in first?

    Or do I have to link to AE?

    I wonder why Adobe removed the first effect. Looks like it was a decent, similar slow motion effect (but I don't quite know the same thing) like Twixtor. At least in terms of it's use of the displacement of the pixels to create new frameworks.

    Went into CS5 +. If you want to come back, do this thing: Adobe feature request/Bug Report Form

    If you are using Time Warp on a clip in AE, as long as you use Dynamic Link to get this model in Premiere Pro, functionally "usable" Time Warp in your sequence. Count on render hellacious times. Perhaps it would be better to make out of AE and import this clip in Premiere Pro.

    EDIT: To use dynamic linking, you must the Production Premium bundle. Since you said "if I get After Effects", does that mean you Premiere Pro only? If so, you can use the render/import instead of dynamic workflow - there is no way to use DL with the stand-alone versions of Pr and AE.

  • Time warp effect removes the other effects (ex: Cineon converter)? AECS4

    I added my video TimeWarp to slow it down, and now it removes effects I applied to my video (Cineon converter in one). How can I solve this problem? Recently I updated my After Effects CS4 so I know its update.

    What do you mean by "deletes the other effects? Do you mean that the other effects disappear in the effect controls panel? Do you want to say that you just can't see the results of the effects in the Composition Panel?

    I'll assume you mean than the latter.

    The time warp effect works on the original layer, not on the result of the effects that precede it in the effect stack. To apply the time warp of a layer effect that has other already applied effects, precompose the layer with the other effects first.

    Since you are new to After Effects, I highly recommend that you start here and work your way through the raw materials before taking a complex project:

  • Two toppings selections in the time scale to the source monitor. (First Pro CC2014)

    I'm really confused by this apparent novelty or glitch, pp. I'm working on an old project that has been improved cs6 by CC and now the CC2014. Several of my videos have evolved at a different point in the source media, so the clip is always the same length on the timeline, but contains a completely different part of the film. When I double-click the clip in the timeline to open it in the source monitor, I get two balances on the scale of time like this:

    sourceclips.JPG

    I'm quite confused by the present, I have never seen this. Especially I don't seem to be able to move one of them independently of the right section of the images enter my cup, and I can't delete any of them.

    Is this something that is due to the upgrade, or is it a setting/preference changed CC in 2014. I did have this problem in any other project before installation of 2014 earlier this week and now I hesitate to initiate other projects in the case where he made a mess of them also!

    The blue part is the video the audio part green (this has always been in first)

    If you check selection bound (next to the key) it will probably be 'fusion' when you double-click it.

  • Bug report: DW CS5.5 hangs every time on an Image Map

    I write this instead of contact Adobe support. I went to my account to send a bug report to Adobe and I was told that I had to contact support by phone. It's pretty crappy. As an authorized user who owned less than three months, there is no direct way to tell you that your software is broken?

    Here's the deal: I'm working on a landing page HTML with a single card attached to a picture frame. Literally, every time I make a change to the code near the (linked to the image map) image then click in the window of live preview, Dreamweaver CS5.5 accidents as a 70 on a bar of SOAP on the floor of the shower. It crashes hard. My only relief is to save the file before clicking in the live preview window. It's my only solution to the problem.

    But I am amazed left that I can plant it each time on a map, flicking the code on the preview pane. We could think about version 11.5, a minor thing like it wouldn't form the supposed cream the cream of web design software.

    Here's the code I'm editing that requires him to plant:

  • Change the Image Source programmatically

    Hello

    I have a problem changing my source of image based on a value in a variable.

    The following function gets the shot, but I'm getting a TypeError: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. error.

    I tried embedding, and the solution you see below (I've found here - as I am chaning to run time http://forums.adobe.com/message/116979#116979), but no luck

    I'm sure its how I am mapping the png, but I can't be sure... any suggestions?  I was banging my head against my desk for centuries on this!

    function (note: track proves that the value to modify the image is correct)

    public void LeversComplete (): void {}

    if (PodContentBase._ProjectDetail.getItemAt (0).) IndustryLeadingMastery is "N")

    trace ("Value" + PodContentBase._ProjectDetail.getItemAt (0).) IndustryLeadingMastery)

    imgIndustry.source = ' / assets/bigcheese.png ";

    else {imgIndustry.source = ' assets/Nocheese.png'}

    }

    Image (note - it is placed as a default - default settings and in fine)

    < mx:Image id = "imgIndustryleadingtechnicalmastery"

    source="assets/bigcheese.png"/ >

    Photo of the Directory Structure:

    path.JPG

    A few questions... The 'id' settings are different in your example.  In your actionscript code, the id is "imgIndustry" but in the mxml the id is "imgIndustryleadingtechnicalmastery".  Pass, how do you know that your image has been created yet, which is often a source of null pointer exceptions.  Whenever I think that this is a problem, I do something like that

    ... AS3...

    [Bindable] public var imageSource:Object;

    ... MXML...

    If in fact the problem is that the image is not created, it will solve it because the image will go and get its source when it is good and ready.
