times out too quickly

How can I extend the duration of inactivity until the computer connect automatically turned off?

Hello

Open windows control panel, open personalization, click on the link to screensaver at the bottom right and in the next window, set the time in the box "wait."  Click on apply to save the changes.

Kind regards

  • error message "kauth resolver external time out."

    Hello

Pay my iMac (21.5 inch, end of 2013, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor) bought with Maverick, I went successively to Yosemite and then to El captain. And since then, I have a problem starting not to power: the progress bar stuck at 60%. Start-up in Verbose mode, I get the message "kauth resolver external time out."

The only solution is to "turn off, is dry, and tension to under 30." This second time under tension, the mac restarts. A solution that is not terrible.

I used OnyX, but no verification has failed to solve the problem, everything looks ok.
Who has a solution pour troubleshoot this problem?

    Thank you for your help.

I too have this problem sporadically with some of our iMacs us upgrades 10.11.3 (from 10.10).  By chance are your iMacs have records of merger?

How to get the cause root? How to solve this problem.

    Hello Terry,

Please try to add the following in the section in the Web\Portal\web.config

You can extend the time-out value to avoid the error when the data in the custom section are too big and too long to load.

    I hope this helps.

  • Size of the table space increases too quickly (DEV_MDS of soa suite 11g)

    I use Oracle 11g SOASuite.

We are facing a problem of database (table space). After each schema deployment that dev_mds increases of 40 MB. We are therefore very often our processes in the development stage. and while cancellation of the deployment of the process. Ideally the memory should be freed. but it's not free memory.

Please, help me out of this problem. and it will be appreciated if someone will explain how this schema size increases too quickly.

    Thank you

Whenever you cancel the deployment a composite of a partition in the composite EM console gets also deleted from the MDS store. But since you must keep all versions of your composite, that your MDS store is bound to grow with each deployment.

As you mentioned that your size of the composite is huge due to activity of embedded java, it's something that your design should be avoided because there is no resuability for your component java embedded in several versions of the same composite or composite.

If you are wanting to use Java in your BPEL process I recommend to use a resalable composite with a context of spring that you can reference from different composite materials or different versions of the same composite.

It also gives you an advantage in terms of modularisation your application, because whenever you need to change your composite Java or BPEL, they can be changed and deployed independently.

  • How to change the settings for time-out HFM

    Hi gurus,

Please help me how to increase the time-out setting waiting for Application HFM (11.1.1.3) running on Windows 2003 SP2.

    Thank you
    Shashi

Here are the steps to change the expiration time of in IIS:
Go to IIS, in the list of Web sites, select hfm, right-click on it and select Properties, this will bring the virtual directory in view tab, otherwise click on this tab.
Click the configuration button, and then click the Options tab. Time out of sessions should be displayed within minutes.

If you prefer to go in the way of the EMP Configurator, the Start button all programs->-> Oracle EPM System-> Oracle Foundation Services select EPM System Configurator.
    Once it works financial management select in the first screen, and then configure the Web server-> Configure IIS for Webapplication of financial management;
You should see the 1200 seconds Web session timeout, change it according to your needs. Do not too big, you want that users initially.

  • session time-out

    This is the situation:

    -chanel AMFChannel

    -session expired web.xml = 1 minute

    1. from the connection of client app client and on the server in run mode I create destination for the logged-on user, and then the customer I agree a consumer for this destination. Everything is OK has send messages from the server and the client receive them, but the problem is here:

When a minute past without any intervention from the client the session on the server is never closed, even if I wait an hour. So I rebiuld project just to try what happens if I do not agree with the destination of the customer, so now I don't use blazeds in this case the session is closed at the time. So where is the problem. BlazeDS is the open session? And how to overcome this problem, I have want to have job destination and http session that close at the time?

Hello. With most channels, when the client is connected to the server, we keep alive HTTP session. With polling stations, your client may not be sending messages to or receiving messages from the server, but the client is actively poll the server for new messages. In general, as long as the client is connected to the server prevent us the HTTP session to time out.

Is this a concern of security for you? The time-out should occur on the server, or is it on the client?

If you are uncomfortable with having the timeout of the written customer a customer code to disconnect the consumer if no messages have been sent or received in a given period of time should not be too hard. You can also use the invalidate session on logout channel setting to disable the HTTP session as soon as the client sends the disconnect message to the server.

If this solution is still a security issue, you may be able to get the HTTP session to time out using a long channel of the poll (with Mark activated and waiting-time-millis defined AMFChannel). If you set the interval-waiting-millis-1, the client will send a request to poll on the server and then demand survey will get parked on the server so that a new message arrives for the client. With the request to the server, it should not be any new request coming in it would be alive to keep the session HTTP and the HTTP session should timeout.

I don't really like this solution because it relies on the client using a single channel to connect to the server and BlazeDS has been designed as much as possible to be independent. The behavior should be the same regardless of the channel is used.

If you can describe in more detail a little bit what kind of behavior you want to see and why, can I apply for improvement on your behalf.

I can see why for reasons of security we would like to be able to exhale the customer if she remained inactive for a given period of time. And by inactive I mean the customer only has not sent or received messages, not currently meant by inactive (the client is not connected to the server). Good to have feedback on how you want to see this implementation where you think this code should live (client or server) would be helpful.

  • How to adjust the time-out setting?

I'm in a certain OBIEE in Firefox which, by nature, do not take a long time to run. One of my local Technical Support people suggested increase Firefox's timeout setting (he showed me how to do this once, but I didn't write it). Can you provide instructions written (or annotated images of the screen), please?

Alright. There are two ways to do this. You can extend your timeout, or you can completely disable timeout. Depending on how you are using firefox, can be useful. If you want to extend your time-out, type about: config in your search bar on the top. From there, need you a list of preferences. There is a search bar. Type "Timeout" in there. The top two are disable the time-out and the 'County timeout'. If you want to disable the timeout, simply double-click the "enabletimeout" on the top. This will change the false value. If you want to change the value of how long it takes to timeout, double-click on the "CountTimeout" and type in your new value. If this is not sensible, see screenshots.

    Have a great day!

  • Stor.E ALU 2s no time-out

    Hello
I have several Toshiba USB hard drives, that I use as storage media with a cable TV box.
Type DTP110 turns off after a few minutes if you do not use.
Type Stor.E ALU 2s continues to operate. There is no point when not in use.
Desturbing more however is the squeaking noise when the box is turned off, which cuts the power of the forced HD.
I sent a request for Toshiba if there is a tool to set the time-out, no response.
    Anyone know a solution?

    See you soon,.
    kyriako.

    Hello

I don't have a solution for you, but I may be able to enlighten us.
It is likely that the hard drive does not meet the host power management controls.
I don't think it's possible to solve by any other piece of software, unless it's an update of the firmware.
If you want you can chech in running a modern Linux host and attaching this player.
Run the drives under Gnome application and try to read the SMART attributes and / or request a counters.

The results it will show the way.
Success at the point of Linux to a kind of incompatibility between the HARD drive and your device.
Same result in Linux shows that the HARD drive does not respond to these common commands and there is not much to do about it.
