  Any version of Windows supports this type of file access and logging.  You may be able to find a third-party program that can but I highly doubt it.

  According to the description of Microsoft Help for their mktime() function, you can fill in a tm to the desired date of test structure, but first the tm_isdst field definition a negative value.   I'm not sure but maybe if you were to set the offset of the time zone for the items in your drop down list you can then use this value to correct the UTC or GMT or other. Then on the link for your DOF tab, you must set the values under specify point values, so you have, use the boundItem() method to retrieve the offset value.

  It's just off the top of my head, I'm not sure I would try to write something like myself!

  When you calculate the diff between TIMESTAMP WITH TZ they both are converted to time UTC (in fact they are stored as UTC). So diff between SYSTIMESTAMP in EST and SYSTIMESTAMP in Seoul will always be 0, as bioth are "now". You need to cast TIMESTAMP WITH TZ 'losing' time zone timestamp:

  It is stored as a timestamp with time zone, so you must cast in the local time zone for your database:

  Here is the difference

  The current_timestamp function returns the date and time in the current time zone of the SQL session as prepared by the ALTER SESSION command. It returns a value of TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE SCHEDULE.

  The systimestamp function returns the date current system and time (including fractions of a second and the time zone) on your local database.

  I travel between mountain and Central time zones. When I get the appointment I specify the time zone that the appointment should occur. When I go back to the other time zone and change the time of BB to the correct area, all appointments move ahead or back one hour. Is there some sort to have well positioned BB time and appointments to stay at the right time without moving forward or backward and time?

  It's normal.  When you change the time zone on the device calendar entries will change, too.  If you set a date on the calendar for the hour 17:00 and you change time zones in Central time that entry calendar will increase to 18:00 18:00 central is 17:00 mountain.  The calendar shows always real-time.
