• Received messages sent?

  Hello everyone.

  The question I have is how do you know after you send a message to one of your Skype contacts he received? Is there some kind of timestamp indicating at what time and day, he was received and opened?

  Worried about other software indicates when the message was received and with the date and time stamp.

  Unfortunately, there is no special message or timestamp in Skype that shows if or when the message has been read or received.

  Although the basic system is so that whenever your Skype contact has internet connection and open Skype it will certainly receive the message you sent.

• Update Skype timestamp in 7.17 problem

  Hello, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place or not, but here is my problem

  I've recently updated Skype to 7.17 and after updating the timestamp for cat started coming wrong by about three hours, I checked my time Office to make sure it wasn't buggy (3 hours on his own return value) as he does sometimes, and he wasn't, I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled in the hope to fix it and it does not work. If you have a solution please help and thank you

• Skype messed up Timestamp

  I did a new Skype account because my old one was kind of embarrassing, but now that I've added a few people the time stamp is incorrect. Next to the persons name is said the exact time that my computer, but then when I copy and paste it's 2 hours late. In all the conversations so far, the convo people is never go in order and will remain above me. How can I fix?

  It is a known problem (as all threads here imply), and the only 'solution' is to return to an earlier version of Skype, until the next verision of Skype is released, which should be pretty quickly.

  Is the timestamp and visible location when it is sent the cat to, or once the Skype is registered?

  The timestamp is the local time of the unit of which the cat was sent. Location is specified by the user in their account profile.

  This is not a 'hack', there piss bad coding on the side of development teams to not add a check for that... idiots...

  How hard is it to validate a string.split of ffs, Regex, string, even a simple URI check its 101 similar coding of the dam... once again idiots... Please delete my Skype account at all, I've lost faith in your abilities...

• New Skype - group not chat messages

  Awhile back Skype had a big update. Since chat messages and then typed by one of the same person is grouped together make impossible to see which text belongs to what message.
  
  before I could see a timestamp on each message, but the same user id now different messages of type 3 and press enter/send after each of them, they are all grouped under the same message.
  
  Is there a way to disable this option?
  
  Also, is it possible to disable the "chat bubbles" that the text is inside to leave only the text as in the previos versions?
  
  If none of this is possible I would come down, but unfortunately to send photos of the oldest most recent client does not work.

• My Skype 7.22 keeps crashing

  My Skype hangs on as soon as I log in and try to start a new conversation. It has happened since 2 weeks and usually I just need to reboot my PC and it works again. But today, it totally crashes and I can't use my Skype at all. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still crashes.

  You need to upgrade your Internet Explorer to version IE11 for Windows 7.

• New update of Skype 6.18 (crashing issues)

  Now that I had to get out the old version of Skype to this new crap. I am no longer able to make what was the purpose of the Skypes for... VIDEO CALLS! Whenever I try to start a video call my Skype immediately crashes and closes. However, in versions previous it was never a problem. So why should it be a problem now? I use Windows 7 Ultimate, was using the same machine for the past 3 years without any problems with the webcam until this new update. So where is the improvement? of course, that is not stated here then why force us to receive this update from distastful? Please enlighten me?

  Skype crashed on the Dx11Interceptor.dll module, which most likely belongs to amBX Gaming Software FXGen. Try to uninstall this software.

• Skype crashes just after the start

  As of today, I suddenly have problems with my Skype program. Once I open the program and connect to my Skype account crashes. I tried to find solutions, but there is very little to find on the subject.

• Chat timestamp is originally 10 hours.

  Hello. I just got a new laptop and installed windows on this 10. After you have installed Skype, I noticed that the timestamp is set to US time 10 hours behind me. I'm on GMT + 2. No matter what I do I can't change it. I changed my profile to use the time to my computer. I adjusted my timezone so my correct local time on my pc and it didn't fix it. I reinstalled Skype and the problem is still there.

  The attached screenshot shows a cat for example. The last lines were send 8 minutes before the screenshot and as you can see it the timestamp is wrong by 10 hours.

  

  You need to change the time zone in Windows Time settings.

  UTC - 7 means that your Windows time zone is set to somewhere in the United States.
