  I m trying to configure a VLAN between some virtual machines on ESX host 3.

  I want to do this way:

  I got 1 dedicated NETWORK adapter to each ESX host that is connected to a dvSwitch in which I configured a portgroup

  When they are placed on different hosts they are (if the VIRTUAL LAN is enabled on portgroup) not able to communicate.

  So I m assuming it must be a problem in the config NIC on the ESX host or switch.

  I m using a HP2910AL on which I activated mode trunk for each port that is connected to a NETWORK card with

  the dvSwitch/Portgroup I try to use for the vlan. In the hp switch, I have a default VLAN with ID 1 where

  the Ports are marked not signposted. I install a second VLAN on the switch with ID 2121 in which I scored

  This tag ports.

  Is there something else to do - perhaps side ESX host?

  I tried changing the settings as "forged transmission-> allow ' on portgroup and I found other things

  in the web, but always without success.

  "show vlan ports" would be my next check to make sure that you have connected to your ESXi host 3 ports in the vlan 2121.

  As Duncan has said if you have a VLAN ID on the portgroup in the vSwitch and you have the port on the pSwitch as trunk not acess and VLAN ID is allowed on the trunk port pSwitch you should be ok.  Just to clarify the trunk is 802. 1 q No 802.3ad.

  The reverse is not VLAN ID on the portgroup vSwitch, use coelio on pSwitch with VLAN ID.  Limited pSwitch port to a VLAN, this may be ok for you?

  Check out my last post in a different discussion.  I reported it as answered, my first question has been answered, but I am still confused of DHCP is working.  I work with a config along the lines of:

  I work with a WLC 5508.

  He'll be there 2 separate WLAN on their own VIRTUAL local area network.

  The WLC connects to the Southwest over a trunk link, which seems logical.

  However, my question is in connection with the TOUR to the switch... should be a trunk as well? (one answer, needs to be an access port)

  How clients in their ssid / VLAN respective will receive an IP via DHCP to it to the switch port that connects the TOWER on a VLAN?

  There are several ways to solve your problem, it depends on your expectations. I guess that you will travel with the value default Local AP Mode.

  By default, it is important to note that customer traffic to a point of integrated access to the WLC, and then it comes out of the WLC on the VIRTUAL LAN that you specified. This is why the AP can be a switchport Mode access and could reside in a vlan / entirely different subnet of your wireless users.

  So assuming that it is the model that you want to track, a high level overview of the configuration would be as follows:

  Suppose you want client WLAN 1 VLAN 11 and WLAN 2 VLAN 12.  Assuming that the WLC management interface is VLAN 1.

  You simply need to create a dynamic Interface in vlan 11 and vlan 12 with the appropriate addresses. Then you would set up WLAN 1 out Interface VLAN 11 and 2 WLAN as output interface 12 VLANS.

  Now when a customer joins 1 WLAN, its traffic will be the tunnel from AP to the WLC via CAPWAP and going to the controller on VLAN 11. The client will now effectively be in VLAN 11.

  (1) FOR loops are your friend here.  You can make a slight restructuring using loops, and then you will have less mess to deal with, the inner loop through tunnels of autoindexing to make it even simpler.

  (2) I would only treat the numeric values of the characters.  So go terminal of control of the chain, the capital letters and byte array to before the outer loop.  You can use a size of Board over there to tell how many times the outer loop to iterate.

  Now the problem is the data acquired with daq card does not match the corresponding registered swtich optical status (G_optchannel, which specifies the light connecting channels). High readings expected certain status really appeared in any other situation.  It seems that there is a misalignment of the multi-thread data. Because the optical switching State passes to 150ms, so I put DAQmxRegisterEveryNSamplesEvent to be trigued each 50samples, which means 50ms with 1 kHz sampling to avoid missing the changes. I also check if there is any change of status during the DAQmxReadAnalogF64, by registering l_optstatus_s and l_optstatus_e, which are actually the same. I wonder if this is because the data are first registered in the buffer. When the software starts reading, at that time, optical swtich status no longer reflects the State when the data was recorded first. Is it possible to fix this?  Thank you very much!

  I'm glad to hear that you are progressing with your project.  Timestamp data are always a bit tricky, because the process of querying a counter on the CPU is done asynchronously with the acquisition of your DAQ hardware.  However, your equipment will ensure that the relative chronology between samples is consistent (in your case, the data will be sampled every 1 ms).  And since you have changed your program as you are now all samples acquired reading, you know that each sample follows the previous 1ms.  So, if I were to implement this I think that I take an initial horodotage when I started the task and to calculate the timestamp for all samples following this timestamp (timestamp SampleN = (*.001s + horodotage initial N) or timestamp SampleN = timestamp SampleN 1 +. 001 s).

  I would go to do that, rather than the timestamp of the end of the reading for the following reason.  As I mentioned previously, the reminder of your reading will run when the OS is planning.  Therefore, it is possible that it gets delayed or does not exactly in phase with the acquisition of hardware, and make adjustments to your code to handle this problem.  However, when you're timestamping there is another thing to pay attention to.  It's the fact that your hardware has a FIFO where sampled data can accumulate before getting transferred to the memory buffer that reading from (for example if the bus PCI were busy when the sample was acquired).  Now assume that the stars aligned against us and get the following:

  (1) the operating system is busy with other things, and our reminder read gets delayed a few ms.

  (2) at the same time, another device connects the PCI bus (or part of the data path between your device and the memory used for the buffer).

  (3) one or more samples is momentarily blocked in FIFO of the device.

  If you were to read data timestamp at the moment, your timestamp would reflect the data in the buffer as well as data that was flying in the FIFO of your device.  However, you can only read data in the buffer.  Thus, time stamp applied to data that you just read would be a millisecond or two later they should be.  Suppose that on the next read reminder, this condition has cleared up itself.  This timestamp taken here would be accurate, however, you will need to return some additional samples (those who were stuck in the FIFO last time).  If you backcalculation your timestamp at this stage, I think that the timestamp calculated for these ecaple timestamps calculated on the previous reading.  It wouldn't be ideal, nor would it reflect when the data has been actually sampled.

  One of the remaining challenges is how exactly the start of time stamp feature.  To do this, I would like to add a call to DAQmxTaskControl (taskHandle, DAQmx_Val_Task_Commit) before calling DAQmxStartTask.  This step will advance the State template DAQmx as far as possible without actually starting the task.  This will help to DAQmxStartTask as soon as possible.  Now, before the appellant beginning or immediately after, I would take my initial horodotage (perhaps timestamp before and after and take the average).  Then I would use this original time stamp and my sampling rate known to calculate timestamps for all the rest of my samples.

  It is possible, if it is not a standard way of configuration.

  Here's a solution if you willing to give it a try. If you have a dish vlan, you can configure your AP connected as access vlan switchport & configure your SSID two like that. It should work (I tested with Open Auth & you can try to add security as well). You may not be able to broadcast two SSIDS, but it's something you have to make compromises if you wish.

  I'm new to Setup IOS APs and wireless, in particular, a couple of 1142Ns in autonomous mode and are looking for answers and examples. These APs will be connected to the POE on an ASA 5505 firewall ports. I also set up the 5505.

  The requirements are that each AP have a SSID 'internal' and 'external' and each AP will have two VLANS.

  The APs should allow roaming between them.

  Internal SSID will allow full access to the company's internal network and the Internet and will use WPA2. It will use the corporate dhcp server and the dhcp server to use IOS to distribute addresses.

  The external SSID will not have access to the Internet and use WEP. The ASA 5505 provide dhcp on these clients.

  The two ports PoE on the ASA 5505 will be shared resources for inside and dmz VLAN.

  If anyone has examples of any of these conditions, observations or similar config they are willing to share, please post them.

  In particular, I would like to see an example of homelessness config Setup VLAN, SSID config and Setup WPA2 and WEP.

  This phenomenon was linked to your video driver (atikmpag.sys) /DirectX.  I would completely remove the current driver and install the latest driver available.
