  I would try the Windows Installer Cleanup utility. Click the number of the KB article for a link to download the utility.
  KB Article ID: 290301 -use the Windows Install CleanUp to remove Office 2000, Office XP or Office 2003

  You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

• Community Forum discussion post messed up timestamps?

  Is that someone of another problem of sttrange on the forums with messages for 1 year before apperaing ago hours of messages? -Next and Previous displays time stamped also randomly? Maybe it's just a bug using Ubuntu Firefox 4.0 for Ubuntu Natty, who has just updated (sudo aptitude update)?

  If other people know this problem how to contact the listlmaster?

• Framemaker10: cannot cut and paste tables, rows, or columns

  When I select a table row, copy and then try to paste a new row, only Pasty in text. When I Edition > paste special, the only options provided are text , and Unicode text.

  I used to be able to copy / paste lines, but this is no longer an option. If anyone has experienced this? Know a fix?

  Edit my maker.ini files does not fix it.

  This has probably been fixed by the discovery that a plug-in toolbar Skype messes up ability to the Clipboard for copy/paste of the text - it is be the culprit in a couple of other threads on the forum.

• Update Skype timestamp in 7.17 problem

  Hello, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place or not, but here is my problem

  I've recently updated Skype to 7.17 and after updating the timestamp for cat started coming wrong by about three hours, I checked my time Office to make sure it wasn't buggy (3 hours on his own return value) as he does sometimes, and he wasn't, I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled in the hope to fix it and it does not work.   I'm having a problem with the timestamps on Skype ahead of the system on my computer clock and hope - could someone help me solve this problem. I tried to reinstall Skype and change the system clock but the clock of Skype does not synchronize with him.

• Preview of Skype audio/video settings

  I use Skype on the anniversary edition of Windows. I have three independent audio devices on my Surface Pro 3 - audio device + a Jabra GN9350 and a Microsoft webcam camera + speaker. Where can I say Skype Preview which device to use for audio or video calls? I used to go to tools-> Options-> Audio Settings but I can't find the menu bar. I looked in the settings and not to see any reference to audio/video. I DON'T want to use the default system that will mess up my sound preferences for non-Skype applications. I also use another device for Skype for business that I do for the preview of Skype, so I need an independent way to configure Skype Preview. Help, please!

  You can't use Skype preview, you can still use Skype desktop program, just disconnect from the preview and launch the desktop program and log as you did.

  my Skype is not load either, just refer to my Xbox. It was working fine last night, I used it until a little after 03:00 I also have Skype on my Tablet and it works very well, so there must be a problem with the xbox version... any suggestions?

  Hey there guys! I just wanted you to know that I'm having the same problem and am waiting for a fix. I've messed around with different things to try to find a solution that has worked for me so far. I cracked Skype on my shot and it connected successfully and I was in a call successfully for some time now. I hope this helps!

• Skype duplicate contacts and merge Outlook Contacts

  Skype has just decided to synchronize my Skype contacts with my Outlook contacts, resulting in a gigantic mess. I would like to keep these two separate worlds, although there may be few people on both lists. Reason is that I consider my Outlook Contacts more private - only people close belongs there. So I use my Skype account in labor, of course, different sets of contacts.

  Current state is when my Outlook Contacts, I can see people from Skype, in the calendar, I see birthday events of Skype accounts (I don't like really not on). In addition, some duplicate contacts or even tripled in my list (and 'Cleaning' Outlook is not able to handle these).

  Is there a way:

  -How to restore this synchronization, delete Skype from Outlook Contacts contacts

  -How to keep Skype/MSA of this yet (other than creating separate accounts or don't use only not Skype at all)

  -How to not have synchronized contacts, but with MSA associated with Skype, FB, LinkedIn and Twitter, so I can see pictures of people dedicated to my contacts

  -Skype on desktop

  -Skype on iOS (my main phone, where all contacts appear messy way)

  -Skype running on my WP with 10 Windows mobile installed (my phone of dust collection)

  (I don't really know if this is the question on the side of Skype or Microsoft - I see redundancy developing UWP Skype app, which could be the source of this issue; in any case, please fill bug for this issue)

  After some time trying to figure out what is the problem and how to fix it, I simply decided to untie MSA of Skype... Indeed, on the side of Skype it was done immediately, unfortunately it took Oultook.com almost a week to stop showing me the Skype contacts.

  The timestamp is the local time of the unit of which the cat was sent. Location is specified by the user in their account profile.

  I recently had the sound being too strong issue with Skype on my desktop Windows 10 and the fix was to go to controller in Device Manager / sound, select the controller that was VIA HD Audio in my case and select "update driver". That fixed the problem for me and I can control the volume of Skype calls once more.

  I think that there was a generic Windows driver sound update recently that messed up some controllers sound, but now my VIA HD Audio has the correct drivers Win 10.

• OSX El Capitan 10.11.5 7.29 Skype cannot connect after the sleep or Hibernate

  I normally several days (10-20) without having to restart my computer. I have my setup system for sleep (sleep for hard disk) when I change places of work at home. Before this version of Skype that has worked. Now, Skype does not recover after sleep. I have to restart my system for Skype can properly connect again. Can I please have a post to an earlier version of Skype so I can reinstall this version? This isn't really correct. Having to restart a system developer daily is messing up my workflow.

  Has finally managed to fix it myself. I had a couple of virtual NICs enabled for communication on the replacement test networks. I put the two off and then tried Skype again and this time only it connected without a problem. So, apparently, Skype does not use the main network connection.
