TinyMCE

TinyMCE allows us to supply the content for publishing on the Web sites of customers and since Firefox Version 11.0 installed today content in textarea fields managed by TinyMCE does not appear however when you click on TinyMCE HTML icon it indicates the source of the field is still there. When the text box is resized and then the content is displayed, but if we leave the page and return to him, he does not display once more. This problem occurs on all the websites that we have which uses TinyMCE as the content editor.

You must upgrade to the latest TinyMCE. This is a known bug in Firefox 11 and should be fixed in Firefox 12, but it only happens with older versions of TinyMCE (for as far as we know). See this post on the forum of the TinyMCE forums.

[Solved] TinyMCE as a Rich text editor in MODx as no longer works

I use MODx as a manager of content on a host of LAMP. After upgrade of th 11 of Firefox, content pages where I have more than one Rich Text editing field, all except the last field white poster. TinyMCE window presents, all icons, but no content is visible or the cursor shows.

Is the content - switching TinyMCE stopped displays the raw html code - just not visible.

This phenomenon appears to be independent of the client computer OS and MODx and version of TinyMCE. I tried Win XP 32 and 64-bit, and Windows 7. All have different sets of plugins. I run many websites and have several versions of MODx and each has its own integrated version of TinyMCE.

Other browsers (Safari, IE8 and Chrome all tested) do not have this problem. Only Firefox. I posted on the MODx forums. Does there yet. No change to anything else happened, except possibly the host of the LAMP and I have reported it to them too. They responded to say that they have made any changes to one of their servers.

My clients in other countries all have the same problem when they use Firefox to access the MODx CMS.

I post here in case it's a Firefox issue in isolation.

This is a regression in FF9 +, see Bug 714115 and http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38 & t = 2393969. In any case, it works with Word 2010, but not Word 2003 or Word Viewer.

Problem with copy paste function (for images) using the TinyMCE editor

I found this copy and paste from ANY external source to TinyMCE requires some ' mickeying with ' to do things...
- a GoogleTranslation copy and paste are not s (paragraphs) but rather s (line breaks) no matter what you did with your typing or it looks like in the windows of the translation
- TextEdit will not wear colours or live URLs
- Notepad of Windows and TextEdit 'plaintext' was usually a way of stripping away invisible things  not so hot results with NotePad +, but could be worse

Magento text fields appear as white

I've recently updated Firefox to version 11.

When you work in Magento CMS, certain text fields are projected as empty, as if the data was lost.

Once you take the lower right and make the bigger field, the text is displayed.

Has anyone seen this problem and is there a solution?

11 Firefox introduces a problem with TinyMCE WYSIWYG/rich text editor. I wonder if this or a related issue affects Magento?

You can try an another workaround: zoom a not upward and down a step and see if it causes the text to appear. (You can use Ctrl + Ctrl + - or Ctrl + mousewheel for this.)

Firefox 8 displays the source at insead nested HTML IFRAME

I got IFRAME nested for a few years, Firefox and other browsers display them without problems, but today with Firefox 8, I see the HTML source of the embedded iframe. My test scenario had a graph of Google in it, but because it is only the display of the HTML, I guess that the content makes no sense. I was about to create a test scenario, but I found that my editor (tinymce) is a failure also probably for the same reason.

Looks like I answered my own question. The nested iframe did not have a header. Once I added my standard header, it worked. Firefox should get selector on the headers in the iframes.

You can have a degree of capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites pref, so in your case, the second line with http://www.mozilla.org will replace the first with the office.iris.ac server.

If you need more than one URL, separate by spaces, but in your case, you don't need the mozilla site that is indicated as an example.

How to implement a WYSIWYG editor for WebApp in Business Catalyst

I created my own WebApp in Business Catalyst and I want to implement a WYSIWYG editor for custom fields of multi line string.
Can I use the one that BC is used in the WebApp admin interface?
I see they use radeditor and I wonder if I can implement this in my own WebApp interface?
I worked around this by implementing my own tinyMCE function, but the only thing that escapes me is the ability to insert images through a picker file dialog box. In my view, there is a paid plugin to tinyMCE to implement a file picker, but I don't know if it would work with Business Catalyst, or if I then it must also implement an ASP connector with it to find the files (which I guess we wouldn't have access to).

I used a template/theme of Muse - themes.com get started on a website for a client and, yesterday, my free host email web client telling him that "in an analysis systematic server, we found the files that present a possible security risk, and these files must be removed immediately or this could result in a suspension of web service to complete elimination. We have placed the list of files in "blah blah blah" directory on your server. "Then, it almost seems like they threw a sales pitch for a piece of security software should I use to delete (with supplement of course). I found the file they were placed with a list of the compromise/malicious files and looked through them and I was wondering why these files were malicious and also what they would mean if I removed them, or how I could solve this problem in general. I copied and pasted from the list below... Thanks for your help in advance! EDIT: Looking at the files, it almost seems like these files are former designers wordpress web. Am I way off? Will it affect anything if I remove them?

FWIW, none of these files are either produced or uploaded by Muse. They resemble files that would be part of a WordPress installation. Note the prefix "wp" on the issues concerned.

Most likely the two files were already there when you bought your accommodation, they have been downloaded by you or someone using your account outside the Muse (using an FTP program), who was trying to install WordPress, or someone else has your username and password and using your account without your knowledge server.

Looks like you're working within a content management system. TinyMCE does not work inside Dreadweaver. It works within a CMS.

And Yes, TinyMCE is what changes the code. It is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) text editor plugin for CMS. Other major editors WYSIWYG (such as CKEditor) also changes boring in HTML format, but from my experience we've all been harmless.

Best way to Air desktop HTML RICH Editor

Hi, actually, I try to get a WYSWYG Editor to work on the air.
Something like tinyMCE / ckeditor (like the one I m using everything by writing this question).
I want to paste pictures there and work with tables too...
For now, what I found is that I should use a stageWebView to load a html element...
I made an html page and uploaded to my server.
It works if I go to the page via the browser, but when I try to load it to the stagewebview, the editor isn't here...
I flash CS6 and air Office 3.9 m
Any idea on how can this be achieved? Perhaps another approach? Any component out there?

I suppose initially that it does not work because TinyMCE can think it's running for the wrong way. The same way, that you configure most of these editors 'relatively' find out where his files, TinyMCE may simply not be able to find its libraries.
