Title bar on the Task Manager window is missing

While working, I noticed that the title bar on the Task Manager is missing.  Unfortunately I don't remember what key shots that I did to make it disappear.

I chose the Task Manager and press F11 but nothing happens.

I passed using Windows and tried all search combinations I could think, but none of them gave an answer to the problem.

What I've done and how to do this problem?

Thank you

Do you mean that the tabs are missing? Double-click on the outer border of the box of the Task Manager.

There should be a "taskmgr.exe" file in the C:\windows\system32 folder.  If she is not there, try to make a copy of it from another machine to Windows XP, it by copying.

  • Recently, my Task Manager window was more a bar, Minimize/Close. I have to restart my laptop to get rid of him.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1030 Notebook PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed that when I go to the Task Manager window, it has more Ribbon to reduce/enlarge/close in the upper right corner of the window. The only way to eliminate the window is to restart my computer. I had several automatic updates that happened during this time from Microsoft (Windows updates) and HP (HP Advisor software). Anyone have any idea why this happened and how to fix it?

Double-click on the top bar of the Task Manager and the will to "Reduce, restore upwards downwards, close" be restored.

Don't forget to close all open window press Alt and F4 keys together.

  • The task manager has started to appear without borders and will not go away, unless the computer is off.

When using the Ctrl-alt-delete option and the Manager tasks appears it seems without borders.  The task manager remains after the programs are all closed and will not go away, unless the computer is off.

It's called mode 'small footprint '.  Double-click anywhere on the border of the Task Manager window and you will get the Menu bar in the rear.

  • ALT + ctrl + del, pressing the keys above the Task Manager tab three does not have open__

Say until the Vista of Ctrl alt delete in Windows Vista. If you are familiar with these legendary keys leading to the top the Task Manager, get ready for a change. Ctrl alt delete Vista now displays a menu full screen. Your options?

    Solution #1

The new keyboard shortcut is CTRL + SHIFT + ESC. Seems a little more difficult to remember if you ask me;).

    Solution #2

Right click on the bar tasks opens a context menu, which happens to have the Manager of tasks as an option.

I get the famous blue screen, who said he had a problem with a driver (probably one of my graphics card) and needs to restart. • The Task Manager does not display the tab process running

I can't seem to view the processes tab of Task Manager running in my pc and my user account is an administrator account. The only tab that appears is the users tab. What can I do to fix this? Whenever I want to kill some programs running that is causing trouble, I can't use this utility.

  • My Task Manager window has no title bar

My Task Manager window has no title bar (it's usually blue) and nothing underneath, except for applications that run on the page. It gives me at least to go to any other page. I usually use Bill P Studios "WinPatrol" to close the Task Manager.

"double-click the empty space in the border" and the task manager should return to normal. TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services

  • Windows 7 upgrade from vista boots without icons or bar spots and can't access the Task Manager.

New computer was installed with Vista and came with the Windows 7 upgrade when it was released. The dealer did the upgrade. Now, when I boot, I have no icons or taskbar and doesn't get to the Task Manager to start explorer.exe.
