To compare the name of the control with a variable

Hi all

I want to compare the name of a control with a variable in a loop. Is there any function for it in Labview? Please let me know if it is.

Thanks in advance

  • When I subtract two numbers DBL and try to compare the result with another DBL, it fails

    I found a curious problem with subtraction and compare numbers DBL in LabVIEW (8.6). Here's how it works:

    1. subtract two numbers DBL such that the result is not incorporated. (Say, 3.2 - 3.1)

    2. compare the result with a constant/control that is on the result of the subtraction (in the example, 0.1)

    3 see the output of the comparison.

    If the result of the subtraction is an integer, the Boolean result is (as expected). If the result is not complete, the comparison fails.

    (Now, if I simply compare two floating point numbers, it works, so the issue is not with the node comparison itself, but with the data that is entered to the node). Can someone understand why this happens? It's unexpected, it's a pretty serious bug.

    It is provided with all programming languages. Numbers do not have an exact binary floating-point representation. This has been discussed endlessly. Never use the equal function with floats. You can use the function in the range and force.

  • Compare the Collection with the help of the Table less

    Hey there!

    my plan is to transfer an excel file and record in an apex_collection, compare the results with those that already exist in a specific table and write it in another temporary table.

    Import excel, in the collection works perfectly, but I fight with the comparation. I select the form of entries collection and using UNMIS to compare lines with those of another SELECTION that gets the lines of the existing table.

    DECLARE

    AND the upld. BAC_CODE = c.C001

    AND the upld. LʼUPSC = c.C002

    This does not work because of this error:

    If it's a copy/paste of your exact code then you just need to fix it, spaces here and there. And remove the superfluous where clause. Maybe:

    BEGIN

    INSERT

    )

    (

    C001 SELECT BAC_CODE, EDITED C002

    WHERE COLLECTION_NAME = "UPLOADED_EXCEL."

    LESS

    END;

    Good luck.

  • compare the control unit when obtained from scriptures Sub

    Dear,

    I'm working on oracle apps R12, and I two business units when do two bills of different operating units and transfer to the GL, how do I compare journals it is for a specific operating unit in the database is there any ID in the database that I can compare different operating unit transactions that come from the sup to the GL book.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

    Ledger doesn't store information directly on the control unit which is normally captured at the transaction level.
    However, there is a table called GL_IMPORT_REFERENCES that keeps track of each worksheet that is passed from subsidiary ledgers to the General Ledger. This table has a column GL_SL_LINK_ID... This can be compared with a few tables over to reach the transaction source and pick up the reference of operating unit...

    (1) for the sheet, you want to know the GL_SL_LINK_ID of table GL_IMPORT_REFERENCES...
    (2) once GL_SL_LINK_ID is obtained, use the value in the XLA_AE_LINES table and collect the AE_HEADER_ID value...
    (3) once the AE_HEADER_ID value is obtained, use the value in the XLA_AE_HEADERS table and capture the value EVENT_ID...
    (4) once the event_ID value is obtained, you can check it with the ACCOUNTING_EVENT_ID of the base transaction... table column for accounts payable invoice it would be AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL and for the payment of accounts payable AP_CHECKS_ALL... Similarly for other modules, the basic transaction tables would hold the reference... .Similarly each transaction table at the level of the subledger database allows to store the ORG_ID which is your value of operating unit...

    In addition, if your users provide a name for the JOURNAL by operating unit during the transfer of auxiliary accounting journal entries in the log book, you can identify by the same...

    My goal is to simply use a frequency and duty cycle control knob.  How can I achieve this?

    There are two things to do.

    What I think you did now changes the scale of the handle.

    You will also need to change the values that are allowed to enter. You will do on the data entry tab in the dialog button properti.

    Uncheck the 'use default', the Minimum value limits and Maximum identical to your balance.

    Value "Response to value out of range" Coerce to both Minimum and Maximum.

    I hope this helps.
    Let me know if you have more problems.

    Do you want user input in the command of the COIL, or want you she in the query?

    What are the data type gen_date of the oif?
    If it is a string, it is a big mistake. Information about the dates in the DATE columns belongs.
    If it's a DATE, so don't try to compare strings, such as "2012-11-01 00:00:00:00000'."

    spool off;

    One way to do that is with substitution variables:

    ...
    SET     VERIFY  OFF

    ACCEPT  start_gen_date     PROMPT "Starting date (e.g., 2013-02-18 23:00:00.00000): "
    ACCEPT  end_gen_date     PROMPT "Ending date   (e.g., 2013-02-18 23:59:59.99999): "

    SPOOL  spool_results.csv

    SELECT    *
    FROM        gui_site_journal
    WHERE        gen_date  BETWEEN '&start_gen_date'
                    AND     '&end_gen_date'
    ORDER BY  gen_date;

    SPOOL  OFF

    There are security considerations. Variables substitution to the devious users the power to issue a SQL, such as DROP TABLE command. Users with SQL * Plus access already have this power, anyway.

    Hello
    I have the following 2 tables (test_prs & test_dep) and registers
    My goal is to compare test_prs with test_dep records and return the records that are not in test_dep

    Here is the table scripts
    create table test_prs (id ,p_id ,r_id)

    select 3,400273,400273 from dual
    I tried the following query to meet my criteria. My output should be null, but all records
    select * from
    test_prs  prs
    where  exists (select 1 from test_dep de where de.de_id !=prs.p_id and de.de_u_id !=prs.p_id )
    Could you please help me the same

    Smile says:
    Thanks for the request

    The query does not work with the following documents

    insert into test_dep
    select 16,'AS',750664,'PG',750758 FROM dual

    insert into test_prs
    select 4,750758,750668 from dual

    the r_id should not be put in correspondence with the columns in the test_dep table. P_id must only be put in correspondence

    OK, you want to match against the de_id and the de_u_id p_id? Or a line where either p_id concordances r_id de_u_id or de_id must not be returned?

    To match p_id against de_id and de_u_id, you can write the query like this:

    select id, p_id, r_id from test_prs where
    p_id in
    (select p_id from test_prs
    minus
    select de_id from test_dep
    minus
    select de_u_id from test_dep);

  • By comparing the date with the BIGGEST rows

    Hi all
    Why don't the last statement asking all values?
    Suppose that:
     SQL> select * from test;

    TEMP_DATE
    ---------
    14-APR-11
    15-APR-11
    16-APR-11

    I try to get the biggest date of temp_date column of the table of test, but instead, I myself dump of null values. What has gone wrong?
    Is there a way more easy to compare these values using GREATEST (I can do that easily with the MAX function however)?

    Best regards

    Hi, Val,

    Valerie Debonair wrote:

    The simplest approach, which is

    SELECT  MAX (temp_date)   AS greatest_date
    FROM    test;

    but instead, I got dump of null values. What has gone wrong?

    As someone has already said, ROWNUM = 2 will never be TRUE. ROWNUM is 1 until a line was selected; then only does ROWNUM get incremented to 2.

    Is there a way more easy to compare these values using GREATEST (I can do that easily with the MAX function however)?

    To use the LARGER, you will need to rotate all values not NULL on a single line. It's a very bad idea. In fact, people sometimes unpivot data just so that they can use MAX instead of GREAT.

    Why do you want to do more BIG?
    If you use it, be careful for NULL values, because BIGGER returns NULL if one of its arguments is NULL.

    Does anyone know how to select all the text in a text control (text, textarea, etc.) with AS3?

    Thank you.

    Answered my own question.

    Set the properties selectionBeginIndex and selectionEndIndex of text controls.

    For example, this selects all the text in a text box:
    yourTextArea.selectionBeginIndex = 0;
    yourTextArea.selectionEndIndex = yourTextArea.text.length;

    If the destination table is empty, then you can do ETG (CREATE TABLE AS SELECT...). This would be by far the fastest way. But to choose one of the choices you gave, the top hand is the first.

    The second option is a very bad idea. Collection of PL/SQL uses PGA. Millions of PGA data costs very expensive. And also this approach doesn't give not any kind of performance on simple INSERT INTO SELECT...

    Hello

    Here's a way to do it:

    SELECT      x.ID
    ,      x.VALUE
    FROM      x
    JOIN     t     ON      ',' || t.value || ','
              LIKE     '%,' || x.value || ',%'
    ;

    Extra commas are necessary to avoid the problem of 'mother is in chemotherapy,' when a single value can be one substring of another. If this is impossible (as in your case, where all values are exactly 3 characters) then you don't have them.
