But I understand that you do not get to choose the gpu?

I have trouble understanding why h/w acceleration is not supported for my graphics card. I have an internal card "Intel (r) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family '. Firefox said "Blocked for your version of the graphics driver" under troubleshooting information. I use Firefox beta 18 under Win8x64. So, here's the problem. When I ran Windows7x64, h/w acceleration was available under chrome & limiting too. I complained ever really because I realized that my card was about 5 years old. When I moved to Windows8 I was planning on getting a new graphics card, to my great surprise, Intel had released new drivers for this version of windows, but suddenly I was getting full throttle under IE, Chrome & Adobe flash plays also support accelerated videos. It would be useful that someone could tell me why Firefox only seems to have a problem.

  • Standard VGA instead of intel graphics hd 4000 in hp 2000-2116tu

    Hello

I am a newbie to the graphic. When I bought my laptop I was told that it has integrated intel graphics hd 4000. When I checked the Device Manager there is no driver or device. Is it because it is incorporated in the processor or have I missed any driver.

    Please help me.

I've updated the driver by right-clicking on it in Device Manager. That solved the problem. I realized that this happens because hd 4000 Intel graphics driver has been released after the release of win 7. That's why win 7 provides the basic installation driver. Once you are connected to the network and if you update it will install the correct driver.

It turned out to be very simple in the end.

Unfortunately, don t speak French for the screenshot isn't very useful, but as far as I know the laptop supports nVidia Optimus technology.
This means that in the case of the current execution software doesn't have a strong graphic performance, the internal Intel GPU would be used.

I recommend this youtube video of nVidia Optimus technology and how to control this:

    Hello

If your laptop comes with the switchable graphics option... make a right-click on an unused space on th desktop and then select Configure switchable graphics.

In the AMD/ATI Radeon Catalyst Control Center window that opens, you can select the gpu (Intel) or high performance GPU AMD for energy savings.

What is the product name complete of your laptop?

You can retrieve your product number by pressing Fn + ESC key. You can also read the Service tag (if any) attached to the bottom of your notebook\netbook. You can also find this information at the bottom of the window HP Support Assistant.

  • Satellite P50 - B - internal error power after upgrade to Windows 10

After the upgrade to Windows 10 and after reboot, I got Internal_Power_Error and laptop restarts automatically.
After signing, get the same error of internal power and the repetitions of the process.

I contacted Toshiba Support and they did NOT have a fix for this problem.

The power driver should be updated but no ETA on when the fix will be available.

    Be wary.

This does not resemble Toshiba problem. The issue (error message) appears due to AMD graphics card driver compatibility issue.
This seems to be a problem with all computers with a particular AMD GPU.

Probably the 10 Windows take the old driver (catalyst process) is not fully compatible and the solution could be:
    -graphics card ATI catalyst unisntall
-updated the driver... (try to download the drivers Win10 for AMD driver AMD site)

You should be able to update the drivers for the GPU in right click Device Manager the GPU.

In case the 10 Windows will not find an AMD update, it must simply wait and use the internal Intel GPU that is part of the CPU. This occurs after the AMD/ATI driver has been uninstalled.

    Hello

The laptop supports the Intel Core i3 - 370 M CPU processor
According to the page Intel ARK where you can view all the technical features of the CPU, the CPU provides internal Intel HD graphics. It was the first version of GPU HD Intel.

I checked the Intel download page, and unfortunately, the Intel page does not provide the graphics card Intel HD (for Intel Core CPU 1 St gen) more.

But I found a newer version of the Intel driver on the Toshiba UE driver page:

  • How to disable Intel HD on my Qosmio X 770-103?

    Hello!

I'm Italian. (Use google translator) :(

    I have a * Qosmio X 770-103 - series PSBY5E *.

_A big favor: _ can you tell me how you managed to disable the Intel HD?

You have disabled the Intel HD via the control panel or BIOS?

If you have disabled via the BIOS or control panel you have done?
What are the steps to follow?

    * + Thank you for your help. + *

    Hello

You can't disable the internal Intel graphics.
The point is that it is controlled automatically if the graphics card supports nVidia Optimus technology.

If the application needs complete graphic performance, the external nVidia chip will be used.
If the application does not have good graphic performance, the internal GPU Intel would be used to save energy.

But of course, you can assign the GPU in a single application.

How can it be? The computer is directly from the factory. Both are active, do I have to manually disable the Intel controller in the system Panel?

  • Satellite L50 - B - 1 K 7 - switch graphics Intel because AMD

    Hello world

    I have Toshiba Satellite L50 - B - 1 K 7 (PSKTCE) model laptop.

When he has to switch from the Intel AMD graphic it turns off just without any warning. I installed the latest drivers for two graphics cards and also checked in the Device Manager for the latest versions of the drivers but the problem remains. Sometimes, for example when I turn on the Solidworks, even if it is listed in catalyst control center for high performance and must use AMD instead of Intel graphics, laptop computer still uses Intel.

When I load something in Solidworks which has need of more graphic resources (rendering...) SolidWorks crushes down with the message that AMD driver has encountered a problem, but it is resolved (on the way this laptop back on Intel graphics).

I use Win7 64 bit and switchable graphics system does not work. I have this laptop for less than a month and tried everything.

Does anyone have similar problem, or some tips how to solve?

    Thanks in advance!

    > I installed the latest drivers for two graphics cards
According to the specifications specifications page, this unit has been sold without preinstalled system.
Therefore, it seems that you have installed the Win 7 64 bit in your own hand.

Where did you download the drivers (Intel and ATI) graphics card?
Have you used the drivers available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver?

To switch to the external GPU you must right click on the desktop.
In Catalyst Control Center Power, click on select Maximum Performance when it is plugged

Then in global settings of Switchable Graphics also choose maximize Performance

Then click on the switchable graphics Application settings
Now, you would be able to add an application (game, etc) that could use this graphics card settings

Now, just point to the exe file and add to the list of applications.
After that, you will see the exe file in the list. Click the graphics settings and set it to high performance.

  • Satellite P875-102: how to choose nVidia GPU to run in battery mode

    Hi all

Displays the first time since a long time owner of laptop Toshiba.
Just bought a new P875-102, which I am very happy with (non - HD 1600 x 900 screen is the only downside).

In any case, I was wondering if there is a way to force the machine to use the graphics card from nVidia while on battery? Graphics performance through the floor when I unplug the power cable which leads me to believe that it is not through the nVidia card for the integrated Intel chip for low power.

I am aware that without a/c running nVidia card will limit my battery life, but I prefer to control this manually. The "eco mode" switch is fine for this.

The Setup is standard factory: Win7 x 64, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GT 630 M GFX.

I checked the settings of the Intel and nVidia control panels and have done everything to use the nVidia card. I also checked under Win 7 power plan settings and everything put on max performance on battery.

I'm running out of ideas about where search - any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    > I was wondering if there is a way to force the machine to use the graphics card from nVidia while on battery?

Optimus technology automatically switches between the internal Intel HD gpu and nVidia GPU in order to save the battery.

But you can force and simple application to run and use the nVidia GPU.
This can be done in the nvidia Control Panel.

    1. click on start and then Control Panel. Select Classic view in the left side of the window.
    2. double-click on the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    3. click view, and then add the "Run with graphic processor" Option to the context Menu. Close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    4. right click on the title of the application and select run with GPU. Then, click on NVIDIA processor high performance.

    Hello

Unfortunately no, you can update or add card video on your computer, the series has two options:

    Graphics card internal:
Intel HD Graphics 5500 (5th generation processors)
Intel HD Graphics 4400 (4th generation processors)
Support for DX11, HD decoding and HDMI

  • GPU for m6-1125dx

This model has the ability to be upgraded to a faster GPU? It's the laptop model HP Envy m6-1125dx, it has internal Intel HD Graphics 4000 up to 1664MB.

    Hello

Basically, you can, with a cost, and I think that this cost can be more expensive than buying a new computer because you have to take into account:

    • New price of the card, and WHERE you can buy it because the laptop cards are not the same office maps. You can't buy any normal store,
    • Need new card system (certainly),
    • Need new system of cooling because in general more powerful card pumps out more heat (you want more powerful card don't you?).
    • May need new power supply because your current diet is not suitbale for the card. (I ordered a machine with the Nvidia card and I need to order a 90W charger at the same time, not the normal charger 65W. They rejected just my order.)
    • Cost of the work.
    • Packages a lot, a lot of aspirin.

Option: sell and buy a new machine.

    I hope this helps.

  • Toshiba TL968 - how to use WiDi - mobile doesn't support Intel wireless network adapter

    Hello

I just bought a new Smart TL968 LCD HDTV. Unfortunately my computers have no program widi of intel who can send my computer screen to the TV.

First of all, I would like to know if there is other software that can work with the TV and my computer instead of Intel WIDI software?

(I ProBook 4530 s laptop computer and a PC with: Intel core ig - 2500 k UPS 3.30 GHz, 8 GB of RAM. 64 - Bit, NVidia GeForce GTX 570)

My second question is if there are other wireless way to see my computer on the TV screen? He should be able to transfer 3D Full HD (P1080) on television that the TV is supported 3D (TV came with active 3D glasses).

I tried to connect a HDMI cable, after a few pixels on the screen flick I noticed just there are 3 HDMI cables different, level A, B and C, my TV HDMI B required and higher level, so if there is a HDMI WiFi transfer adapter must be able to send the best image quality include 3D.

    Thank you d ' attribute.

    Kobi

    > Unfortunately my computers have no program widi of intel who can send my computer screen to the TV.

Intel WiDi is a feature of Intel. It requires special hardware to use Intel WiDi.
    What equipment is required?

Here you will find all the details:
    http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/IWD/sb/CS-032437.htm

and here you can find the system requirements:

If its no matter software but hardware.
