To export a USB VM´s

Hello world

I m new in the community of Vm´s and the modern in VMware Esx technology,

i´finished to install an ESX and a Vcenter in our society,

I ve some questions about Vm´s.

1 I m usually use workstation and Vmware player, and sometimes I can creat a virtual machine and make a copy of the VM file´s to an external drive (USB drive) to work with home, for example.

I want to know if it is possible to do the same thing with ESX, I mean export a virtual computer on an external drive (USB key) to be abel to work with him in my house or in another site for example.

2.i Don t know how can I manage my ESX and all VM´s with the VI client remotely, I do a Nating on my router a https (443) in order to manage my esx remotly, and with my vi client, I can access my Vcenter or ESX, but when I try to open the console of a virtual computer , Christophe is a mistake.

Thank you... .for all answer to advence u...

Welcome to the community.

1. an alternative is to use the data store Navigator (use client vSphere, just a click to a data store) and copy the folder of the virtual machine (virtual computer must be turned off)

2. the console requires access to the ESX, so add another config (see link). Or simple NAT RDP vCenter.

  • Video files pasted/exported on USB or HDD twice?

    Hey all,.

When I download a video or export some of my own and put them on a USB Flash drive to connect to my Samsung Smart curved TV, rather than a single video that works on the USB port, there are two files. Who says: "unable to read the selected format" and another who plays very well.

It's frustrating, because instead of only 40 videos on my USB key, I have 80. And half do not work, which is difficult to navigate as it shows only 8 videos through the screen of the TV.

This problem is not moved when the Flash DRIVE has been formatted for WINDOWS ONLY, he started since I erased and reset it as MS-DOS FAT *.

    Thank you!

These files are not additional video files, are Mac system files, they are hidden on a disk as Mac OS X, but are visible when the drive is formatted under DOS.

I delete these files before sending video on USB memory drives customers using an application called own ejection, it is free software and is available for download here: own ejection

  • STILL EXPORT TO USB

AGAIN: I have no problem in the menu export and media dvd and BluRay discs. However, because portable computers more and more do not have an optical drive and optical discs seem to be old fashioned I'm looking for a way to export the menu and the media on USB, in a way which and content menu and the video will appear correctly on each usb port on a pc player, tv or an optical disc.  So far, export Flash (.flv) works well on ports usb on pc, but not on television or the players.

Is there a setting to ports usb TV and optical disk players export?

    Bottom line: No.

The reason DVD played on DVD players is that they are designed to do. And computers often come with a drive (for example VLC player) that has a DVD drive emulation program build. But nobody does a TV that reads files from a USB DVD format. Most will play mp4 files, but there is no system of encoding of menus on the USB. the TV is equipped with its own 'menu' by simply listing what's on the stick.

Flash works on computers because the computer has a flash player. But broadcasters are not.

I just put the mp4s on the stick and select TVs at registration.

  • CS4 do not recognize Canon HF G10

I have been using PP CS4 for a couple of years to capture clips shot with my Canon HDV.  Recently, I bought a Canon HF G10, but I can't capture directly from the camera in CS4.  My computer recognizes the camera (as shown in Device Manager) but CS4 does not recognize it is a camera attached when I open the Capture window.  HF G10 can export via USB or HDMI but no IEEE1394 (Firewire).  Is CS4 limited in order to grasp only via Firewire?  I can copy the flies as .mts to disk and then import them to CS4 but I lose the ability to divide the camera feed into clips and omit the parts that I capture.  Also, as noted in another post, imported .mts files seem to have occasional stuttering randomly during playback.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Bill

You cannot ingest AVCHD (your new camera) in the same way as Capture HDV (your old appliance), nor with CS5.5. Its a whole new/different technology and it has nothing to do with the first not being able to manipulate the camera.

I fear you will learn and live with it.

  • How to export my Address book to a USB

I want to export my address book to a USB key that I can take with me when I travel with my laptop. I went to export and tried to save it to thumb drive. He said that it was not possible

In which case you will need to investigate this file formats can be used by "Cox internet email" (probably webmail through your browser). Thunderbird's native file format (*.mab) is unlikely to be useful to you.

I suspect that you will need to export your Thunderbird address book to CSV file format, as it is as I KNOW the only the most common format for the exchange of contact information. VCard (*.vcf files) there's a high probability. If you need, you will then have to import into the system of Cox.

A good reason to NOT install Thunderbird on the laptop?

  • Export images to USB

I try to export the photos 'photos' (not iPhoto) on a USB key. When I click on file export option is not available. I am able to do a single photo at a time, but I want to do all or at least in groups or events.

In the Photos, select the photos and export (menu, file == > export) in a folder on the desktop - using the finder drag this folder to the mounted USB key, unlocked

And in pictures, there is no event - a years/collections/moments rather than events Photos

  • Properties of the scanclock exported by Matlabs addClockConnection() on a 6229 OR USB (BNC)

With the Matlab DAQ Toolbox, it is possible to export a scanclock by addClockConnection() (see http://www.mathworks.de/de/help/daq/ref/daq.session.addclockconnection.html for an example of code base).

However, I found no information on properties signal exported on the NI USB 6229 (BNC), for instance frequency, amplitude, duty cycle, etc., or in the documentation, or on the web or in this forum.

I would be very happy if someone can point me to the documentation for the properties of scanclock.

    Hello

All channels in a MATLAB session running at the same pace. So, if you create a session', s.Rate would be the rate of your acquisition or production. the 's.addClockConnection' method allows you to import or export a clock to analysis for synchronization purposes. The syntax below allows you to export the session of 'PFI0' on an external device clock. You can probably find documentation on the Web site, OR to the properties of the embedded clock signal, but it seems to be a pulse of 5 volts running to the session rate - which is typical to synchronize the devices together.

    s.addClockConnection ('dev2\pfi0', 'external', 'ScanClock');

If you need duty cycle 50%, you must create your own clock using a channel of meter output as you did above. If you connect the clock to the GET, it can use it; and if you need your equipment OR to dribble the clock output of counter (instead of the clock on board), you would also import counter signal output in the session and be sure to set the rate of session to match the output frequency of the counter. Assuming that s.Channels (2) is your output channel of the meter, the code below imports terminal scan on the same clock as the meter output channel, so no extra wiring is necessary.

    s.Rate = s.Channels (2). Frequency;

    s.addClockConnection ('external', ['dev2\' s.Channels (2).]) (Terminal Server], "ScanClock");

This allows the device OR both your GET to run on the same clock. You can also have your session export a trigger to start with the syntax simillar to the above to make sure two devices on the same edge of clock.

    s.addTriggerConnection ('dev2\pfi0', 'external', 'StartTrigger');

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • Export a catalog of laptop-> USB key... several subfolders handling

I have a catalog on my laptop with a bunch of subfolders, like this:

    TRAVEL PHOTOS

    1 - London

    2 - Paris

    3 - Madrid

    ... a * group * of these!

I am trying to export the catalog and move all the. Cr2 files on a USB key in order to merge it with another catalog and archive it on my main PC.   However, whenever I export, the catalog on the USB drive still made reference to all on the first hard disk image files, so I have a small exclamation mark errors in metadata on the thumbnails when I open the catalogue exported on HomePC.

Lightroom's smart enough.  If I show where ONE of the images are, he finds OTHER IMAGES * in the same folder *.    It's great... but this does not solve my problem completely because there are like 18 subfolders.   I really don't have to do 18 times.

THE QUESTION: Is it possible I can move/export entire * subtree * without having to learn Lightroom 18 times where each subdirectory is?

    Thank you!

PS - I have NOT checked 'export negative files' because I assumed this will create DNG... and I'd rather just keep the CR2s and XMPs I already have with subfolders that I already have. (maybe I use this wrong?)

It is exactly what you need to do.

It won't move the RAW files, it copy to the target, USB in your case.

  • Export iTunes Playlists to USB Flash Drive

Just took delivery of a 2016 Lincoln MKZ w/SYNC. I tried to export each playlist to the Flash drive, check in the M3U format. SYNC would not recognize because of the protection of the files, or something like that... It shouldn't be this hard

Thanks in advance for your help-

    Mark

Drag the pieces from the playlist to disk. Export the playlist M3U file. Drop the M3U file to the LocalizeM3U script and put the update playlist to disk. Note You cannot include songs from Apple's music because they contain DRM and will play only in authorized computers or Apple devices.

  • How to export pictures on email USB

We have pictures on our mailing list and would like to download them on a key usb please help

    Hey 271535,

This isn't really a specific thing of Firefox, but you can always right click on the image and choose "save under". This will give you the ability to call the file and the location where to save them. Simply select your USB drive as destination location and you should be set.

I do not know what email provider, you are using, but many of them offer a feature to download lots of pictures at a time if they are all attached to the same email.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones there is no option on my Blackberry mass storage / USB to aid to export photos to computer.

I'm trying to transfer photos from my Blackberry. I don't have a data plan or a micro sd card, so the usb mass storage option is (I think) the only way for me to get my pictures on my computer and my phone.

I plug the usb cord into my computer and the phone, but my computer does not recognize the phone as a storage device, so when I click on "removable disk (E)" in my computer, I am asked to insert a disk in the drive.

I read that, so that it works, I need to turn on my Blackberry mass storage. I go to options and storage device; However, there is no option "Mass Storage" even that are listed. Only two options with checkboxes are 'Enable Compression' and 'Media Card Support.'

Is the storage option of mass elsewhere on the Blackberry Curve? I tried to restart my phone, computer, using different usb ports, and using usb different cords nothing helps. How can I get my pictures on my phone?

    Hello

You can still use BlackBerry Desktop Software for it!

If your media or Images are stored on the memory of our device then first install BlackBerry desktop Software here BlackBerry desktop software after installation connect your device using the USB cable and run the Desktop software.

Select images from software then you can import the Images on your PC.

    Good luck.
