To increase performance on 32-bit games?

I have Home Premium 64 edition. I'm trying to run a game (Medal of Honor: Pacific battles) I know that it is 32-bit. I meet the recommended requirements with the exception of the speed of the CPU is 2,00 GHz for each core (rated 4.00 GHz) while the necessary speed is 2.8 GHz. It installs and runs but gameplay is choppy, but when I look at the floor, he speeds up to normal. I think that as the game is 32 bit and my CPU is 64-bit only my carrots are running the game. Is there a way to improve the performance to run 32-bit programs, or is it possible to use the two hearts.

Thanks DATDARKONE. I put the game and screen resolution of 640 x 480, but he continues to lag. However, I still do not understand the decommissioning. I don't think I've never updated my drivers because Windows says that my driver is up to date.

This is what it says in the properties:
Driver date: 09/10/07
Driver version: 7.15.11.5671

My system is a DV2945se from HP DV2500 series.

Your drivers are the latest... However, try game booster I linked to you to improve the performance... And set the compatibility of the game in Xp or the microsoft os where you played this game... Try this... Downgrade is not a good way because you have a powerful pc (I see a review).

Set compatibility, right click on the .exe of the game and make the properties. Then compatibility and whole or Xp or os of microsoft where you have played this game. Try this :)

I hope to be more helpful :)

  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit won't let me run older 32-bit games?

    I've upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Now, I can't run my old 32-bit games.  Can I download a 32-bit program, or do I have to buy another version of Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit support?

    Its possible there is some compatibility issues with Windows 7 64-bit and older games.

    You can try compatibility mode:

    See the developers website for compatibility with Windows 7 and if there are updates, corrections or difficulties that might ensure compatibility.

    Windows 7 Compatibility Center

    Check if your application software or hardware is on the list

  • Runtime Environment only APEX increases performance?

    Hello

    Does anyone know if a the APEX runtime environment increases performance over a full access to developer environment? I read everywhere it increases security but is nowhere specified whether it increases performance.

    From my point of view, its nonesense to store all the activity information that are shown via internal or the development of accounts when you're not using it anywhere. Do you know if the development team has thought of this option?

    Thank you

    Hello

    There will be no difference in performance. A runtime environment only removes just all packets are not used to reduce the possible attack surface.

    On the activity log. There may be not a user interface to see them, but you can query the APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG Dictionary view and display them in your own admin applications. Or use the automatic batch display to notify you automatically if the response time of page for pages is unacceptable slow...

    But basically it's you if you want to save this information. Fair value the application "Logging" attribute and the application no longer to record this statistic.

  • How can you increase performance?

    Hello
    I'm building a site, but it's the framerate is very slow.

    I read a few articles that the Sprites are much faster then movieclips.

    For example, I have 5 long movieclips (4300 pixels in width). These clips scroll horizontally to achieve a parallax effect.

    One of these movieclips contains other movieclips. (all movieclips not animate and are just graphic).

    So I thought to increase performance to convert all the clips of Sprites that I read that the Sprites are better for performance.
    I came up with this method:

    function castMovieClipToSprite(source:MovieClip,_recursive:Boolean_=_true):void {}

    for (var i: int = 0; i < source.numChildren; i ++) {}

    var child: DisplayObject = source.getChildAt (i) as DisplayObject;

    If (child is MovieClip & & recursive) {}

    castMovieClipToSprite (MovieClip (child), recursive);

         }

    child = Sprite (child);

         }

    }

    The performance has improved slightly, but if I run the debugger I see that child objects are always of type MovieClip.

    Does anyone know another way to improve performance?

    Thank you

    Chris.

    At the point of several objects, the following code does the same job (looks like) in your demonstration with a single shape:

    var angleConvert:Number = Math.PI / 180;
    var numSegments:int = 100;
    var angleIncrement:Number = angleConvert * (360 / numSegments);
    var radius:Number = Math.max(stage.stageWidth, stage.stageHeight);
    var currentAngle:Number = 0;
    rays = new Shape();
    var g:Graphics = rays.graphics;
    g.beginFill(0x000000);
    g.drawRect( -radius, -radius, radius * 2, radius * 2);
    var len:int = numSegments / 2;
    for (var i:int = 0; i < len; i++) {
         g.beginFill(0xC0C0C0);
         g.moveTo(0, 0);
         g.lineTo(radius * Math.cos(currentAngle), radius * Math.sin(currentAngle));
         currentAngle += angleIncrement;
         g.lineTo(radius * Math.cos(currentAngle), radius * Math.sin(currentAngle));
         g.endFill();
         currentAngle += angleIncrement;
    }
    addChild(rays);
    rays.x = radius * .5;
    rays.y = 100;

    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, rotate);

    function rotate(e:Event):void
    {
         rays.rotation += 1;
    }

  • Pavilion p7 - 1447c: Pavilion p7-1447 Fund increase performance

    Hi all

    I have a Pavilion p7-1447 Office that I bought at Costco about 3 years ago. Nex Gen AMD Quad Core A8-5500 processor accelerated processor, 10 GB memory, 1 TB hard drive.

    I want to increase the performance of the computer. A friend suggested that I buy a SSD drive for a little over $ 300. I expected a less expensive approach.

    Any suggestions?

    In addition, suggestions for anti-virus software?

    Thank you

    Frank

    $300 will buy a 1 TB SSD. A concert of 512 is large enough and can be found for less than $150. You can have your original 1 TB of HDD and an SSD. There is no better upgrade performance. You can add memory or processor upgrade, but if you install an SSD you will think that you have done both. The only thing it won't help is game. For this, you need a video card and that is a different debate. I use Avast Free Antivirus and I am pretty happy with it. Also install Malwarebytes. Together, they provide a reasonable protection for free.

    Post back with more questions.

  • Intel 945 Windows 7, does not have the 32-bit games that require Direct3D.

    OK, so I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

    After that I installed Windows 7, games ran fine. Everything was great. I decided to update my graphic drivers a few weeks ago to see if I could get better performance, and now nothing works.

    I installed the 15.12.75.4.64.1930 (8.15.10.1930) driver for 64-bit. Since then when I try and play a game, I get a message saying that Direct3d is not available. When I run dxdiag, Direct3d is not enabled. If I run the 64-bit DXDiag, it is said that direct 3D is activated.

    Help, please. I tried to uninstall the drivers, but then I just get the Stndard VGA graphics driver and I can't do anything.

    It is also it seems to have an impact on flash applications in IE8. When I launch IE8 (32-bit or 64-bit) anything with flash top constantly stutters and flashes several times making it unusable.

    Hi AnanymousDan,

    Since you are facing this problem after the update the display drivers, I suggest you revert to the previous version of display drivers and check if that helps you solve the problem. To restore the drivers, follow these steps:

    1. open Device Manager. To do this, click on start to reduce this includes this im, type Device Manager in the Start Search box, and then click Device Manager in the programs list.

    2. If you updated the device driver, right-click on the device in Device Manager, click Properties, and then click back to the previous version on the driver tab.

    If the steps above do not help, you try to perform a system restore on your computer on the date when it was working fine and check if that helps you solve the problem.

    To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem and then click Next, click Finish.

    The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

    Access the link below to learn more about how to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to a previous point in time in Windows:

  • Can it 64 supprt 64 bit games graphics card

    Original title: Please help

    Hi I want to play a rom c d with a 64-bit requirement, I have 32 bytes, but due to the upgrade if I buy a 64 graphics card I'll be able to play my other games

    Hello

    Both 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a CPU (also called a CPU), processes the information. The 64 bit version of Windows handles large amounts of RAM (RAM) more efficiently than a 32-bit system.

    32-bit and 64-bit depends on the installation of Windows XP and not the graphics card. Available in 32 and 64-bit Windows operating system. If the game supports 64-bit operating system, you may need to upgrade the system to windows XP 64-bit operating system.

    You can also consider the upgrade of the system to Windows 7, which offers the best performance and stability.

  • Equium A60-692: how to increase performance?

    My laptop is slow loading upward, with Internet taking 5-6mins, it has never been very fast when I bought a year ago. Is there something that can be done to speed things up.thanks

    Hello

    First of all if the internet connection is slow data so this has nothing to do with the performance of the laptop.
    This laptop comes with pentium 4 HT CPU 518 2.8 GHz and 256 MB of internal memory. In my opinion, you can improve the memory to 512 or 1024 MB. This should increase the performance of your laptop. But generally, the laptop has a performance of good material.
    The laptop takes several times at the start because of background processes.
    Check the the Task Manager and if possible disable no important processes.
    Also the Norton Antivirus might be responsible for the procedure of starting for a long time. I also installed the antivirus application and it takes several times to start the operating system.

  • Half-life games on win7 x 64 as 16-bit games

    Set launch options - 16bpp for 16-bit in win7 64 games.

    But games like 32-bit still works (from the Task Manager)

    How can I make a request on really running as 16-bit on x 64 machine?

    Hello udayonze.

    64-bit Windows cannot run 16-bit applications.

    To my knowledge, 32-bit binary only a half-life.  The 16bpp (16 bits per pixel) in the launch options refers to the depth of color and it is independent.  Today there is no reason why anyone run with less than 24-bit / 32-bit color.
