To obtain the impulse response of 8753ES ANS.

Hi guys,.

I am a newbie in Labview.  I used the following 8753ES ANS the steps below in order to obtain the impulse response.

System (button) > transform Menu (button) > lowpass impulse response

Recently I tried to use the instrument driver 8753ES to develop a façade in Labview, but I couldn't do it.

I'd appreciate if someone can give a help.

Thank you.

Hello

If you have collected the impulse response, you can apply the FFT function to this result and get the frequency respons. It is quite simple in itself this http://forums.ni.com/ni/attachments/ni/170/391616/1/sample.PNG picture. But I guess that your job is to download this information from the 8753ES of AGILENT

  • Ideal no RC Impulse Response vague question the quadrature

    Salvation OR team,

I have a little trouble understand why the amplitude of the response of my simulated square wave signal, when passed through a non-ideal answer RC filter, is incorrect. Qualitatively, the form of the answer seems correct, but the range is wide.

I'm generating a square wave (where you specify the width of the frequency and pulse), the amplitude is set to 1 and the offset is also 1 for the square wave goes from 0 to 1...

Then, I build the core of impulse response indeed RC ((1/RC) * exp(-t/RC)) using the formula of wave Vi, and finally, I use the continuous VI of Convolution to convolution of the signal with the impulse response of RC square wave to generate the output signal...

For example, this is explained in the following link:

    http://Web.CECS.PDX.edu/~ece2xx/ECE222/slides/ConvolutionIntegralx4.PDF

Although, I think the author may be typo in the amplitude of kernel (I think it should be 1/RC and not RC) but the rest seems fine.

In the attached VI, use a frequency of 300 Hz, pulse width of 0.01 ms and RC 380 Hz bandwidth Signal.

    RC 380 Hz bandwidth would be a time constant RC of ~ 2.6 MS, when a square wave with a pulse width unit< than="" 2.6ms,="" the="" resultant="" response="" signal should="" have="" an="" amplitude="" of="" 1="" (matching="" the="" unit="" square="" wave="" signal="" here)="" and="" fall="" off="" appropriately="" as="" e^(-t/rc)="">

This seems OK when running the simulation. However, when I increase the width of the impulse to say 2.6 ms, (which should show a refill of the RC circuit to an amplitude of ~0.5 and then discharged as e ^(-t/RC), the amplitude is too high...

Have I a gross error in my understanding here, or maybe I use one of these VI incorrectly?

Thank you for your help and time in advance!

In fact, I made a mistake in my interpretation of the correct amplitude in both cases, I presented. I was still unable to resolve the discrepancy here, but thanks to this post, I managed to solve the problem. In this case, we need to 'normalise' the core of convolution to the 'sum' of the elements in the data of y of the signal of the nucleus resulting. I will post the solution here in case someone else runs into this problem.

  • AppleScript to obtain the physical path of a picture in the Yosemite photos app

In iPhoto, we had this nice XML file with the metadata for each image in iPhoto.

In the Photos of Yosemite application, there is no file.  So, I wrote an Applescript script that loops on each folder, subfolder, album, etc. and write the details to an XML file.

    When code loops, I have:

Repeat with img in each media element of myContainer

    and I get these details:

    • name: missing value

    • altitude: missing value
    • Location: valuemissing missing value

But nothing in these attributes tells me where the actual image file is on the hard drive.  Anybody know a way in AppleScript to obtain the physical path of a picture in Yosemite photos app?

    Thank you!

There are two categories of images within a library of Photos: 1) copied - no external location information stored (by default) and image is stored in the photo library and 2) referenced - only the pointers to the location of external images are stored in the photo library, and location information to real image from the file menu and context menu as file referenced in the Finder menu item slide show can be found.

In pictures preferences: general Board, there is an import: box - copy items to the photo library. Apparently, this option is enabled by default, as it was the once Photos migrate my iPhoto library. It also means that I don't have category 2 above and the menu items are gray, because there is no location of external file stored in the photo library.

More on that here on different application.

  • trigger a loop to run during the impulse is received

Hi I have an operation simple that I need to run however I can't understand how to perform.  I have a signal that goes up (or true, I can do either) for an iteration then returns low (or false).  I need this high signal to trigger the start of a loop that stays on until it receives a signal to turn it off after the execution of the function inside.  In a circuit point of view, I use a D-flip-flop, which takes in the impulse and the output remains high until it receives a signal to erase it, closing the loop.  I can use either a business structure or loop as my loop, but I just need to know if there is a way to run continuously one loop on receives a single pulse.  Thanks for your suggestions.

Put the inner circle while loop in a housing structure.  Jump to the main loop the inner loop (inside a case of T/F) until the case selector goes to T, by running a case F is empty.  Once the trigger is going to T then the inner loop before full outer loop moves to another iteration.

  • HP1102w impossible to obtain the credentials of the router

Just bought a HP1102w to work with a wireless network in a kitchen environment.  The printer must be small and we are limited on the available ports, but have a strong wireless provided through Unifi APs

During the installation of the printer for use on a wireless network, the installation tool lists all the WiFi networks available in the field correctly, but when you select the the computer is also connected too, I finally get an error indicating that the printer is unable to obtain the credentials of the router.  The only option I seem to have is either leave the ge the crenditals printer automatically or let me manually.

Even by selecting the manual option, I can enter the SSID manually but not where give me an option to enter my password.  I guess that's the reason that its failure, so how the hell can I manually enter my password so I can maintain a secure wifi network?

Mark this one resolved. I went instead to select the advanced option, which allows you to enter the SSID manually, I selected the auto option and it seems to work very well.

It seems odd that I can't manually put in my IDs of wifi point, but this has never been an option.

    Hi Graham,

I have attached a document explaining the process of connecting the device. If you're on 2.5.2.1, then it should not be all new patches, you need to install. 2.6 should be released in the coming weeks, and I intend to do a blog post that walks through the details of the upgrade.

  • H - REAP: difficulty to obtain the IP address for the client after loss of control

    Hello

    I have configured the following:

    -H - HARVEST Wlan

    -AP PM-HARVEST

-There is no trunk on the access port, so "Support Vlan" is disabled in the configuration of the AP. Because I want the Capwap data and the data on the same vlan REAP H of transit.

    -J' have controller 5508 version 6.0.182.0

The first time that I connect with my PC for Wlan H-REAP, I get an Ip address

I see the DHCP from the AP request.

I can disconnect and reconnect several times with my PC, and I get all the time an IP address.

Then I disconnect the connection between the AP and the WLC, and I reconnect after a few minutes. (If the controller is again joined by AP)

Then, when I try to connect to the Wlan REAP H, it is impossible to obtain the Ip address. I don't see "dhcp - discover" coming out of the AP.

I have a message in the log of the AP: "customer 0018.de6a.3058 had 1 AES-CCMP TSC replays."

Similarly, if I reload the AP, the problem is still there.

The only way I found to solve the problem is to change something in the config of H-harvest-Wlan and apply it.

    You have an idea?

    Michel Misonne

I'll make a guess savage and say that you have WMM disabled on the WLAN...  Enable WMM (supported) or upgrade to 6.0.196.0 (if WMM is disabled..)

  • Refusal due to the DNS response

    Hello

I get after spammed in my syslog all of a sudden our PIX. The incoming port is always the same, but the receiver's port.

% 2 PIX-106007: Deny UDP incoming 204.117.214.10/53 to 63.xxx.xxx.xxx/21465 because of the DNS response.

My understanding is that the PIX has called DNS Guard (which I can not turn off) and it corresponds to DNS responses to DNS queries and only allows the first DNS request in. I guess that's what is blocking? How can I prevent continuous errors?

If anyone can throw some light for a new user of PIX I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

204.117.214.10 is our ISP (sprint), btw.

Custody of DNS in the PIX is a number of things, one is that when he sees the query DNS turns off and when he sees the DNS response come back, he checks to see that they meet all upward and closes its doors opening to at the outset. So basically you can only have one answer per request to come back through, any subsequent action will be denied and you will see this error.

The usual cause for this error is that 204.117.214.10 took too long to respond, and the query was answered by another DNS server. When this response through the PIX, the PIX has closed the session and the answer later 204.117.214.10 was denied. Generally not to worry.

6.3 code you can disable the DNS guard, although I would not recommend this, trigger this means packets DNS will be treated as standard UDP packets and expire after 2 minutes, rather than just after the DNS response. If you do a lot of DNS requests then this will dramatically increase your number of xlate and conn, then you'll want to keep an eye on it. The command to turn it off is:

    No fixup protocol dns
