  I first tried vertical toolbar that is displayed in the search list. It helped, but the developer said this was not necessary more and me directed by a link.   It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

  Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

• SCXI-1102/SCXI-1303 undetected in SCXI-1000 chassis

  I use an installer with the SCXI-1303 module in an SCXI-1102 module in a chassis SCXI-1000 measures voltage and thermocouple.

  Until recently, everything worked well. but now it seems that I am unable to communicate with the interface. I've tried two different computers and hardware is not detected in MAX. The power light and fan on the SCXI-1000 chassis light again, it just seems to be no acknowledgement of the connection to the computer.

  A few more specific error codes:

  * When I double-click on the DAQ Assistant, in the block diagram window and click on 'Test' one of my entries, I received the following error message:
  "88705 error: the specified device is not present or is not active in the system."

  * I also got the error code "error-89130: not available in NOR-DAQmx device" in Control Panel test DAQ Assistant

  * During the closure of the DAQ Assistant test Panel, I see the error "error-89130: device not available for routing.

  * To the MAX, if I try to 'test' the chassis or the module, I've seen errors either saying that the device is not detected, or that the device must be reset or is being restored, or the traditional DAQ drivers must be reset (I tried the reset suggestions without result)

  At this point, I wonder if the Commission or the cable is pulled. Unfortunately, I don't have an other 68-pin cables to test at the moment.

  Thanks guys, I was able to solve the problem. To all those who might find this,

  * I noticed in the Windows Device Manager that two PCI devices have been listed as being not installed correctly.

  * After trying to update the drivers, I couldn't start the computer; got BSOD after the BIOS loading.

  * Some research led me to go out two PCI cards that I was not using, and I moved also to reinstall my data acquisition on an another slot card to force material.

  * Starts up, load drivers automatically and I'm gone.

  Doesn't explain not why it did not work in the other computer, but in the words of Spinal Tap, the authorities have said it was better left unresolved at this point.

• How to load different modules of moduleLoader - some with others without unloading?

  OK, so I read a lot on the modules and I decided to build a site where I have a menu button on the bar and a unique moduleLoader, where all my pages are separate modules. Some of the modules will be preloaded with technical moduleManager then they will be in memory should appear instantly and others should be unloaded because they will be rarely used. Imagine that you have 50 pages, 45 of them use the same 3 modules and the rest 5 use the other 5 modules.

  So I need 2 things:

  1) these 3 preloaded modules (loaded into memory) and then used - is not a problem. In the button bar change manager, I put just the url of the moduleLoader =""; and just after that line, I set moduleLoader.url = "module1.swf" for example. In this way the event ready triggers whenever I have change the button selected in the buttonBar and because the module is loaded into memory, it changes immediately, this is great.

  (2) I have no need of rest 5 modules that are not preloaded, to be loaded by the moduleLoader and when the user clicks another button, the module unload and the new module for the selected new button be loaded on it takes place. So here's the old module unloading and loading of the new needs to happen with 1 - button click user interaction. How do I do that?

  I ask this because I discovered that there is some difference when the module has been preloaded or not that changes the way it unloads. Also, in some cases if a module has been once unloaded and loaded again, it stops shooting the unload event by changing only the moduleLoader.url and you will have to specifically call the moduleLoader.unloadModule () function to get called.

  And all of this led me to the idea that perhaps the only way to make it work in case 2 is to have moduleLoader.unloadModule (); and on the next line after moduleLoader.url = "newModuleUrlHere";

  But then I came across a problem with twinkle in my transition from buttonBar selected button that I describe and give the example online here:

  So is there any technique to combine those who need to be loaded and unloaded and all this to work with just a moduleLoader instance + preloaded modules which must not be unloaded?

  I tried your sample code. Is a matter of usability, in that you ran

  definition of the url of the module to a string empty in an attempt to unload it. On the contrary, this causes the ModuleLoader attempting to load a module that does not exist. This, of course,

  generates an error that causes the ModuleLoader unload the existing module. Try to set the url of the module to null instead of an empty string and see if it makes more sense:

  You cannot delete the warning, but in 42 Firefox extension should always work.

  No, the marshall plan provides only supported for applications cross-version, the modules must be compiled with the same version of the SDK that the application that launches. The marshall plan is automatically enabled in version 3.2 Flex and a larger versions 3.x. In Flex 4, you must activate the marshall plan by adding '-includes mx.managers.systemClasses.MarshallingSupport += "as an option of the compiler.

  I just need a mental health check using an SCXI-1600 instead of a NOR-6251 module.

  I have a SCXI-1000 chassis with 3 cards: (w/1300) module SCXI-1100, SCXI-1104 (w/1300) and SCXI-1126 (w/1327)

  I'm sampling 62 channels of these cards to 1200 samples per second, using LabVIEW 2011 on Win 7 (32 bit).

  We previously had a PCI-6040E to connect to the chassis, but we must move on to a USB interface.  I tried the 6251, but we have serious space and mounting issues since that a portable Setup.  I would use one SCXI-1600 module instead, but I'm afraid of all the severe warnings recommending a 6251 instead.  Are there problems I'll meet?  This seems to be such a basic configuration.

  The 1600 allows me to save space the 6251, its power supply and cable 68 pin linking the two.

  Since you are using Win 7 (32 bit), I plan no compatibility problems. We strongly encourage our customers to use the 6251 because it is a new product with more features, but if you need the SCXI-1600, that should be good as well. I hope this helps!

  I have a laptop Toshiba satellite pro 4300 series with 64 MB onboard + 64 MB Module and I want to upgrade my memory to 320 MB. I bought two ram of 128 MB each. I removed the 64 MB module and I put a 128 MB module into the slot (A) one, but I saw that the total memory is 128 MB again.

  I removed the module again and I put the second module in the connector (A), but I saw that the total memory is 128 MB again. After that, I put the two modules in my notebook (Slot A and slot B) but I see that the total memory is 192 MB. This means that it recognizes each module as 64 MB as opposed to 128 MB. Dose anyone know why this happens?

  • 15 maps FlexRIO (SMU-7962R + OR-5734), to acquire data at 10 MHz
  
  
  • 1 function (SMU-5412) generator
  
  
  • map 1 calendar (SMU-6672)
  
  
  • Other cards (switches and low-speed i/o)

  Use cases

  1. In a mode of operation, we need 60 FlexRIO channels to listen to at any time. When a channel exceeds the threshold, all 60 channels must be simultaneously acquired and recorded on the disc (i.e. each FlexRIO card must be able to trigger in all 15 acquisition cards)
  
  
  2. The other mode of operation, to generate a pulse of the SMU-5412 and acquire at the same time all 60 FlexRIO channels since the moment the fire pulse.

  Question

  Essentially, we have 17 maps of conservation (15 FlexRIOs + 1 function generator + 1 card calendar), but only 16 cards can fit in a frame (because 2 slots are ocupied by the on-board controller and MXI-Exprress card). Thus, one of these must be on the other chassis. Then the two obvious options are:

  1. FlexRIOs so that the function on the 1st frame generator, calendar card on the chassis from the 2nd.
  
  
  2. FlexRIOs more map timing 1 chassis, generator of functions on the chassis of the 2nd.

  Does it matter which option we're going for? Can we get the benefits of performance or ease of coding be it?

  If all that you want to this topic the accuracy of the clock, there an entry on the back of the SMU-1085 for an external clock of 10 MHz and a 10 MHz clock rate.  So everyone can use the same clock.

  But you worry about triggering.  So I see two real options:

  1. turn all that must trigger the other in the same chassis.  That would mean putting the source of synchronization in the second frame and using the reference I/O on the chassis clock to share clocks.

  2. get a second synchronization module.  The module should have PFI lines so that you can share trigger signals.  I would still use the reference I/O on the chassis clock in order to ensure that everyone uses the same clock.

• FPGA code with the evolution of the modules

  I need to create FPGA code to a cRIO-9072 facing the development of the modules.

  My cRIO will have a number any NI 9203 (analog acquisition) and modules OR 9411 (acquisition digital) as inserted by the operator.   With the current draft of LabVIEW FPGA, you cannot compile a LabVIEW FPGA VI which manages several configurations of C Series modules.

  For your application, you must create a target of your project for each of the possible configurations of module and build the corresponding FPGA VI. Then, compile each of the screws to create the necessary for each configuration FPGA bitstream. Then in your host VI, you can detect what the current configuration of the module and download the binary stream appropriate for the FPGA. Another issue to consider is that the reference to the FPGA VI/bitstream returned by the open FPGA VI reference function will be unique to each bitstream/module configuration. So in your host VI, you'll need treat each configuration of the module with a separate set of code by contacting the FPGA.

  If you consider only two different modules and an eight slot chassis, there are 9 modules possible combinations. The condition would be to the end user to place all modules of the same type together, either from the left or the right side of the chassis.

  You can post how you have changed the code, so we have a better understanding of what to expect.  Brief looking at the example code I couldn't guess why a long 10 ms pulse is the only thing you see if what you did was replace the power indicator 0 with IO nodes.

  However, if your end goal is to get a pulse of 5 usec, then the NI 9403 module will not respond to your needs as the updated module is 7usec max.  You would be able to do what you need with a NI 9401 module, with the draw back you go to 32 channels up to 8 with the 9401 vs the 9403.

  A NI 9211 is a thermocouple device I.  A PT 1000 is an RTD.  While it might be possible to signal conditioning to get this to work, you're better off:

  Purchase of a thermocouple to replace the PT 1000

  Or buy a NI 9217 (RTD module) to replace the NI 9211
