  Yesterday and today first weekend for almost 6 months, computer operators has called (sleep) telling me that they have encountered this error "ARCHIVELOG FULL CONNECT UNTIL FREED."

  I was surprised because our FRA is 100G size and our database when saved only 5 GB. This is the first time it filled to the top of the 100G recovery area.   Glad to see you corrected yoruself part "database behaves crazy." It was clear that part of the charge was originally the archivelog abornal generation. Archivelogs are nothing more than redo logs archived, so if you have any archivelogs more it means that you have again generated, which means that you have several events DML (transactions). This has nothing to do with the total size of the database.

  In this case, the best course of action is to plan for it. Adjust your backup purge archivelogs scripts to run more often to take account of the generation increased archivelog and plan ahead of the needs of disk space.

  Why don't you back up your archivelogs? They are required for the recovery of all data with your backup disaster occurs. If you are not concerned by this database disaster recovery, then you might as well go in NOARCHIVELOG mode.

  HOWEVER, since you do not have a Dataguard configured for this database, it seems that it is a critical database. In this case, the last thing you want to do is removing the archivelogs like that. They must be backed up and deleted and then to FRA. Thus, as a result of the actions:

  -Increase the rate of the backup archivelog script and remove those that you have backed up the FRA.

  -Increase of the FRA

  I have the following problem: when you generate a thumbnail for an ORDImage using the processCopy() method, it works very well for a maximum size of 3 ~ or ~ 4 MB. However, I downloaded a 7.6 MB jpg image and leave the tile automatically (stored procedure) be generated. For this image, an exception is thrown:

If a generation of thumbnails for a 3MB image works with a size 24 MB Java pool and an image of 7MB generation does not work with 96, there is clearly no increase in linear memory.   Often, I'll build several installers. One would be a full installation that includes the run-time engine and another that is only the application. Unfortunately you don't have many options since the RTE is required to run. Either join your installation or the customer to install themselves. To be honest, it is really not fat these days. E-mail is a bit difficult, but you could always put it on an FTP site for access.

  You have not specified what generation TV you use, but it is not really important. I'm not aware of any solution that allows for "by app" brightness adjustment. The only source that you do not list iCloud photo library, but I doubt it would make a difference.

  You might just find an acceptable compromise, or use one of the TV set pre-series (movies, sports, etc.) to switch to displaying photos.

• My iPod nano 2nd generation gets disk errors after installing iTunes?

  I use my iPod nano 2nd generation for... Wow little almost 10 years now and of course is not as sensitive, a little laggy sometimes, battery life isn't as good but still never had real problems with it that can be repaired by a reset.   Stuff leading up to it

  A year or two before, I used to manage the ipod via itunes (a relatively old version of time too I guess since I almost never update) until I formatted my laptop some time ago and never bored computer reinstall itunes. Since then, I really didn't need to change anything to my iPod and just use Winamp (my default music player) to the add/remove songs when I needed to. Today, I decided to install iTunes because there are some things that winamp cannot do as add embedded lyrics and also winamp blurs the sorted list of the song. There might be a chance that iTunes was not the real culprit and the disc was already beginning to get corrupted or something somehow, but I can't think of anything that's happened before this problem started.

  I tried many things

  • Uninstalled iTunes and all the other stuff related to the installation as pie, Apple Mobile Device Support... .etc
  • Reinstall the device driver USB Apple iPod. When I turn it off (Plug in iPod-> iPod poster 'do not disconnect'-->--> Device Manager driver right click-> disable-> Device Manager freezes up-> unplug ipod-> Device Manager-> thaws plug ipod in) ipod becomes simply the State of charge. Steps to reinstall is the same (need to plug and unplug).
  • Reset iPod in now the Center button + menu button.
  • Will then resetting operation rewind + Centre button iPod diagnostic mode. It is not a test disc hard because I guess nano doesn't have a disc hard just flash ram. Anyway, when I select SDRAM QScan he only says: "SDRAM OK." NAND_SPEC gives "NandLBA = 1982464". Flash gives Checksum "Checksum is 0x26AF".
  • Wanted to try as described here to check for disk errors, but cannot because the computer cannot correctly recognize and explore freezes if I right click. I tried using 'chkdsk f:' in the command prompt, but that seems to hang as well.
  • Switches mode disc reset ipod then now Center + play button. Then connect the laptop... etc, same problem.

  It's a pretty old device, so it seems that support because it is very rare. I didn't install iTunes could screw up the device that it is intended to support and do anything as permanent as this one.

  I suggest try to reformat the iPod using Windows, as if it were a USB flash drive.  But you can only do if the system hangs when you connect iPod.

  NOTE: If you find a way to reformat iPod using Windows, use FAT32 as the disc format.  If there is an option to do a quick format, do a full format instead.  Once the process is complete, the iPod is totally blank.  You do restore using iTunes (if you are prompted or not), to the embedded iPod software.

  All I can suggest is keep hunting until you find a third party store that includes and can fix it. It is an obsolete device Apple is concerned. They no longer service or support or have the replacement devices available and they never stocked parts for it as service is managed by the replacement, no repair.

  p.s. https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-1st-Gen?page=2 & display = list lists the display available for $200 but stock and should have a repair guide too.  Note those will be retrieved/used parts, but shop ifixit has a good reputation, has been around for a while and offers a lifetime warranty parts. You could contact them and ask about the availability of the display 1st gen iphone.

• The Airport Extreme WiFi intermittent 2nd generation

  I'm having a weird problem with loss of WiFi on my Apple Airport Extreme.

  My 2nd generation that apple Airport Extreme Base Station began to close its WiFi broad signal several times.  It happens usually after 60 minutes or less works very well.  Power on and the new runs for awhile until it stops again the WiFi.  Green light normally forward either static rest without flickering to indicate data transfer, or it will just dark.  Sometimes it will turn off WiFi and then restart WiFi a few minutes later and appear to be good.  But mostly it just stops and I can, he extinguished/turned on to operate correctly with the WiFi again.

  Airport Extreme is connected by ethernet cable to my modem/router main fiber (which is a different floor home) and it is set to "Bridge" Mode  It worked without any problems and I did no changes to my system.  My ISP did update my modem broadband fiber a few weeks ago to a "Virgin Media Hub 3.0"I understand was made by Compal.»  It seems to work perfectly and I have no problems with speed download or reliability in wireframe.  I was away from home for about a week and was able to access my wireless IP camera remotely via my Airport Extreme with no problems.  The problem started almost immediately on my return, but, as I said, I did no changes to my network.  I have never had this kind of problem before with my Airport Extreme.

  I am running OS X Yosemite on an iMac that is connected by a cable ethernet to the Airport Extreme and seems to work very well even when WiFi is de-energized on the Airport Extreme.  Airport utility reports the airport as current firmware version 7.6.7.

  I used network utility, Fing, and it showed that my Airport Extreme has multiple IP addresses, which seem to conflict with the IP address for my three AppleTV.  I manually changed the IP addresses of the Apple TV to another IP address not conflicting, but Fing always shows that my Airport Extreme has three IP addresses and I still have the problem of WiFi.

  Any other suggestions on a probable cause of this problem or the best way to solve the problem would be much appreciated.

• Unable to sync iPod Touch 2nd generation

  Probably normal.  I have seem MANY posts here of new owners who say there is no sound during playback of songs.  It is usually because they are not pushing hard enough to plug the headphone plug into the headphone iPod (until the 'click 'sound).
