  Hello paulo.eichelberger, try Disabling graphics hardware acceleration.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Firefox Options window as follows:
     • Click the menu button

       

       then select Options.

  2. In the Options of Firefox window, click the Advanced tab, and then select general.
  3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  It seems that your screen displays some graphical anomalies when you connect to your user name. I would use these troubleshooting steps in the following article on the resolution of screens:

  Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

  Well I just inadvertently solved the problem... it turns out that it had nothing to do with the resolution of the screen, but it was the fault of dell all! Reference Dell defined the default theme to one that changed the log on the bottom, until I restarted, I changed the theme to the theme of landscape.   There is a solution for this. When you're in contacts, calendar or alarm clock, press in and hold the Menu button for a second or two, it will have the same effect as sliding down.

  I try to avoid slipping to the extent possible, so I always use the Menu key to bring up the Menus and options.
