• BlackBerry Smartphones middle of the space bar does not work?

  Hi all

  I used a company Blackberry issued before, but I just bought myself a new model of the curve a few days ago.

  I had a hard time typing today, and I realized that this is because the part of the space bar does not work. Specifically, if I push on the left or right edge of the space bar, I get a space. But if I press in the center of the space bar, the button clicks but 2/3 of the time that no space appears. So I have to press the button 2 or 3 times to get a space. Or I have to press the edges of the space bar.

  Is this a problem with my specific blackberry or this entire line has this problem?

  I should ask T-Mobile for a repair or replacement? I just got a few days... someone had success treats this issue before?

  I've not seen all messages more precisely the space bar. It may be as simple as a dust or dirt stuck under the key.

  If it was me, I take it immediately and get a new one. It may be defective. Why pay good money for something that may have a permanent problem?

• BB blackBerry Smartphones and now the BBM upgrade does not

  I've upgraded to the new version of BB (I think version 5?) two days ago.  Yesterday, I could not find my BBM icon.  At out the battery, etc... Didn't come back (even if it was listed in the application list).  I reinstalled via the BB App World and then had my contacts through backup.  Today, it is not letting me send BBM and if someone sends me a BBM they get an X.  Everything else seems to work very well (Im' getting emails, etc...).  I also did a soft reset (output battery) - nothing has changed.

  Anyone encountered this problem and know how to solve? Thank you.

  WHAT I want TO DO:
  I want to have a Captivate SWF loaded in the bottom half of a main SWF Flash "shell", and then when the Captivate SWF is done playing, a text field on the "shell" SWF hand puts the word "DONE!" inside.
  
  WHAT I HAVE FACT (which does not work):
  I have a Flash SWF that loads a SWF from Captivate3 file into its bottom half (which works fine). Half upper main Flash animation has a field of dynamic text on this subject called "doneText_txt".
  
  I then did another SWF is just 10x10px and what is on it's ActionScript on the first frame that says:
  
  _root.doneText_txt. Text = "FINISHED!"
  
  Then, I went on the last slide/image in my Captivate project (in Captivate) and did a "Insert-> Animation" to insert this little SWF of 10 x 10 on the last slide.
  
  When I load that main "shell" and then the Captivate project load down and finished, nothing is displayed in the text box "doneText_txt".
  
  THINGS I noticed:
  When I import the SWF file in Captivate, it was transparent (has not appeared). I adjusted the transparency on this (in Captivate) to 0% and 100%, and it has not yet posted. I thought it might just be because it had nothing on it (just the default white background), so I went back in Flash and re-exported the SWF 10 x 10 fill with black. I have re-imported in Captivate, and yet it does not appear. Like, I thought you'd see a black square on the slide. He was on the timeline and I could move around the slide, but it was just a transparent box. This made me think that the reason that the text "DONE!" was not get past was because there was a problem with the same SWF file being on the slide in the first place.
  
  Any ideas? Or, if there is another way to remove what I try to do, it would be fine with me as well. Thank you!!!
  

  I FOUND A SOLUTION!

  Instead use:

  _root.doneText_txt. Text = "FINISHED!"

  I added a bunch more "_root" s in it like this:

  _root._root._root._root._root._root._root.doneText_txt. Text = "FINISHED!"

  And it worked!

  I guess that the SWFs you load into Captivate actually (backstage) loaded into Captivate swf themselves, so there are one bunch of other levels of _root that needs to be reached. To be sure, just to throw a bunch in there!

• Satellite 5200: lines on the screen - driver does not properly

  A few days ago, my laptop screen went all funny lines, came to the screen in a form of flickering green, the laptop froze and then the driver failed. The funcitons still mobile but I have these lines always start the toshiba XP loading screen system, so I know it will be a hardware problem. I have attached an external monitor to confirm that this is not a screen problem.

  Sometimes I turn on the laptop and the screen will be fine and loaded drivers, but that only lasts for about 2 minutes then XP lock ip, blue screens and reboots. Then once it to load with the dirver does everything wrong.

  I took the flat laptop cleaned and looked for something sensitive which could be causing it? I have not changed or verified the memory of the laptop, if it's an idea to do?

  Any suggestions?

  This really looks like to me a graphics card failure. What do you think?
  Have you tried recovery of the operating system with the recovery CD Toshiba delivered? If this is not the case, try to install the OS from CD. Then you can be sure that the issue is not relegated to a malfunction of the software (driver) to 100%.

  But generally, I don t think you can fix it yourself. I m not sure if the graphics card may be withdrawn or entire motherboard but if it s a bad hardware work if the part needs to be replaced.
  If you have no significant experience in the laptop repair, then you should ask a technician for help.

• Why the screen saver does not work in the two screens?

  I have a monitor connected to my laptop using the VGA connector.
  Laptop LCD is set as the primary display and the additional monitor is defined as the extended desktop. When the screen saver appears, it shows on the main screen. How can I make it work on both? (without setting the external display as a clone of the hand).

  I have problems of this kind.

  I have listed what I've done to illustrate how to reproduce this.

  My OS is win7 32 bit.

  The replication steps are

  1. start on OS with integrated display (it is the system of n. b.)

  2. attach the HDMI (external monitor).

  3. turn on the extended mode and HDMI monitor as the primary device.

  4. set the screen saver 3D to be active and preview.

  Screensaver 3D drawing now works on the main screen.

  the secondary monitor (built-in monitor) working with black screen.

  5. hot unplug a HDMI monitor.

  6. the display of the 3D screen saver is changed back to the built-in screen.

  7. BUT the drawing of 3D on the built-in screen screensaver is STOPPED (= NOT updated).

  8 move the mouse, built-in monitor escapes from the idle screen status (operating system is still alive)

  Is this an OS behave as expected?

  in earlier Versions of Photoshop CC I could choose an existing shape, then assign attributes by using the drop-down list of the screening of the tool (i.e. of the pen tool). My workflow has been something like this:

  -Initially affect the attributes via the drop down menus of contour/background while the pen tool is selected.

  -Create a "Preset" tool contour/background settings.

  -Assign these settings to various forms via the Preset drop-down list.

  My habit of presets custom newly created "work more, it still works for the"integrated"Presets, though (i.e. peanut Dash preset the tool pen).

  Anyone having the same problem / found a solution?

  In fact, one click worked, there was just a delay. My drop down remains open. Have you tried to reset your preferences - first of the tool, and then for the PS, if this does not work?
