Top of the Tower continues to go offline with printer

I have a HP Envy 17 t Quad touchsmart laptop and a printer HP 4635, which were bought March 2014. Never any problems with wifi connections until the last two weeks. The first time all the computers in our network have been not communicate, so we reset the router and have them save the work.

But now am having a problem almost daily with the lap top to disconnect. The office is very good, but I have to restart both the printer and the laptop to print again.

At the beginning I thought that we could have the router issues, but now wonder if there is a problem with my new laptop?

According to your description, the first thing that I think is the ability of the printer with a manual/static IP. If the printer has an IP static IP ad turns out be the same thing as what the computer has, him maybe turn on the printer is the computer on the network.     Have you spent at the store and installed the 8.1 update yet?  It solves several problems of hundreds, including audio problems.  I'd like to get this update before do you anything else, or you will waste your time.

    That said, you can try this quickly.

    1. Right click on the lower left corner of the screen (or on the +X), then choose Prompt Admin (important: it takes the admin option).

    2. At the Admin command prompt, type net stop audiosrv and press ENTER.  This will stop the Audio Service.
    3. Now, type net start audiosrv and press Enter again.  This restarts the Audio Service.
    4. Try to replay audio.

    Firefox does not have an e-mail it is strictly a web browser, so it has nothing to do with an address book.

    You can set a static IP address on the Xbox 360 by going to network settings and then manually enter an IP address.
     
    (1) type cmd in the start search field.

    (2) type ipconfig/all in this window, and then press the Enter key. This will display a lot of information.

    3) take down of the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and name servers. Be sure to note which is which.

    (4) type exit in this window, and then press the Enter key to close.

    (5) once more, open the start menu. This time, click on Control Panel.

    6) click view the status of network and tasks.

    (7) select the settings of map on the left side of your screen.

    (8) make a right click on your network adapter and choose Properties to open the properties of this internet connection window.

    9) click Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then the properties button.

    Until you make changes, write down the settings you see on this page. If something is wrong you can always change the settings back to what they were! You should see a point in the obtain an IP address automatically box.

    (10) choose an IP address and type in the IP address box. The ip address that you choose should be very similar to the ip address of the router. Only the last number of the ip address must be different.

    (11) put the previously found in section mask subnet mask subnet. The default gateway should enter in the default gateway box. Enter the dns servers we prevoiusly found in the two zones on the DNS server. Completely out of this menu, click OK.

    That's all you should be done.

    Once done, you must assign a static ip address for your xbox as well.
    When you're done, between the two, the only parameter that must be different is the actual IP address. The gateway and subnet mask must be the same on your XBOX and PC LAN connection.

    I always use Nero or Roxio software, but Windows XP it has a function limited to do so.  First of all, if you must make sure that the drive you purchased is able to WRITE on the discs.  The vast majority are, but you should check that first.  Normally Windows will find the right driver for the latter and load it, but you can check the Device Manager to see.  XP if the memories are good, you click on Start-> support-> Device Manager.  Locate the entry of CD/DVD.  If there is none? or! next to him, you have the right driver.  Also, if your device came with a driver, it is another indication that you probably don't have something special for her.  Then, you will need to check to see what type of disc you have.  Many external DVD/CD players will read and write CD but not write DVD.  There are CDs CD - r and CD - RW.  CD - RW is to be formatted, but normally you don't format CD - r.  You just need to copy and paste to, click the disk, and then open Windows Explorer, on the drive, and you should see something like a list of files waiting to be burned to a disc.  Should be a button there to burn.

    There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

    You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

    They should do this for a small fee.

    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

    And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
