Toshiba compatible E-mouse on vista and seven?
Hi, I want to ask if the Toshiba E-Mouse (PX1215E-2NAC) is compatible on vista pro 64-bit, vista 32, 32-bit Windows 7 and windows 7 64-bit?
Is there a driver?
Thx for the answer.
Hmm, I searched a bit on the internet and it seems that this PX1215E-2NAC E-mouse is compatible with Win 2000 and Win XP.
Unfortunately I didn't find the drivers on the European driver Toshiba for E-Mouse page

Vista and Seven send incorrect credentials via a VPN tunnel
My working samba server is file sharing in the 3 scenarios:
1 serving on local network (at work), no problem.
2 serving OpenVPN tunnel when the client is connected to his home LAN (throw a nat-router connected to a modem broadband - ADSL or cable modem), no problem.
3 portion OpenVPN tunnel when the client is connected using a modem mobile broadband (Huawei), clients can see the server and actions, but can only connect to the public all others get a refused connection dialog box.I've isolated the problem: when connecting throws the 3G modem, the user name is sent to the samba server is the user name required by the ISP to make the connection mobile broadband and not the account user name.
I tried with windows firewall enabled, disabled, as well as with zonealarm, but the problem persists.
Excellent work of all the other network protocols: tcp, http, ftp, etc.
I have observed that windows has always defined the openvpn as a public network. Never asking the network location dialog box pop ups. Please advice will have my gratitude. Thank you.
Ok. Yesterday, I create another account (another user to the server) in my machine and to my surprise the problem disappeared (in this account in my account, the problem persists). So I checked my setup on the server was correct. Also, I compared several registry keys that contain references of connection between the two accounts, and found no difference. Today, I solved the problem of making a backup of all my files, delete my account and files and recreate my account on vista.
However I know what else could be done, a decent solution. -

Where can I download an evaluation version of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7?
Hi, I'm doing a Comp TIA certification course has + and my teacher said he wants to make us a copy of Windows XP, Vista and Seven evaluation. Now the problem is that I don't know exactly what he means by that, but I guess he means a trial version. Could someone send me a link for the download and evaluation of operating these systems copy and tell me whether it is a trial version it wants, I tried searching Google for copies of evaluation of these systems but not had any luck with Vista and XP that I only got a trial version of Windows 7 Enterprise.
As mentioned, the trial version only of Windows that is available is the Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day trial and testing of Windows Server 2008 R2.
I have a Windows Server 2003 180 days trial version, but it came with my system administrator Guide book.
I also have a 60 day trial of Windows XP Professional version, but it came with a bunch of software eval when Microsoft was the promotion of Windows Server System, it is quite rare to come across her, 9 years ago.
Vista did a test of the company in 2006.
When I made CompTia A + my instructor provided these resources for me.
The best way, you can get these is to use existing commercial discs.
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 requires no activation required, nor does Windows Vista. Another option is to invest in a TechNet standard.

Vista and all applications of Toshiba on the recovery disk?
Hello everyone
I have problem with recovery disk on my laptop.
When I had formatted my HDD I lost my recovery and I can't return it.
That is why I need order of Toshiba backup recovery, but I have a question about it.Could you please give me some information?
Are my lost Windows Vista and applications Toshiba on backup recovery?I thank very you much for the replies.
Hello
The Toshiba Recovery disk contains your laptop factory settings. This means that the operating system (in your case, Windows Vista) and all the drivers Toshiba and tools. It s like you started the laptop first time.
In addition, the disc contains a picture of the factory settings and compared to a Microsoft disk you save a lot of time because already installed updates to Windows and all the drivers and tools you need to work properly for laptop.I hope I could help a bit to understand.
If you have any other questions, please let us know! :)Good bye

Why accident to explore Windows vista and mouse slow down when the Panel is open?
My computer works fine except when I try to open the control panel. Then windows explore crashes, my mouse is useless and impossible to close the control panel by using the menu of the task. Everything disappears when I managed to select restart windows Explorer and the closed control panel. I have seen a lot of messages from people having the same problem but I still see a response that it heals. Microsoft want money to repair their fault and I'm not ready to feed their greed. If anyone else can help?
Hello
What antivirus/antispyware/security products you have on your machine? Include everything you
ever had including those that you uninstalled. (These can leave leftovers that can cause strange)
questions.)Search all .cpl files most will be in "C:\Windows\System32" However, you can have
others. Click on each of them at a time and see if it does not start - if so right click on it and
Rename it using cpZ as the extension is easy to find. Try Control Panel - if no Dungeon of joy
try all the .cpl files. (Note that other people find other subfolders under C:\Windows should
not be judged because they are not active.)Some of them are appwiz.cpl firewall.cpl, desk.cpl, powercfg.cpl, inetcpl.cpl, timedate.cpl and others.
Try these in case the General corruption has a role to play:
Start - type this in the search box-> find COMMAND at the top and RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN
Enter this at the command prompt - sfc/scannow

Microsoft Outlook is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7?
Is there a way by which Outlook can be installed on a computer, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
We have replacements for Outlook. If so, how to get one?
Farhad
«Farhad...» "wrote in message News: 05c1a45d-b7ab-4b99-8a06-b131bb67989b...I wanted to know about Outlook Express. I heard that its not available with newer versions of Windows. Is Windows Live Mail used, what is the replacement for Outlook express in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Farhad
Outlook Express has been replaced by Windows Mail in Vista - and completely removed in Windows 7.Windows Live Mail is now supported by MS free mail client and can import messages and contacts in the OE stores.Note that the upgrade to Windows 7, XP requires a format of the HD - back up your data in the first place, if do a upgrade.

Compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes
I downloaded iTunes 9 on my Tobisha laptop Satellite last night and put about 2.5 GB of music on it. I didn't upload the music from the internet. I used MP3s, I had for a few years.
When I went to boot up the laptop this morning the loading process took some time, but it never loaded to the login screen. I just see the bottom of MicroSoft. Is there a compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes? Maybe I put too much music on my laptop?
Boot in safe mode and delete iTunes and all the music I downloaded would solve the problem? Or it is less simple than that?
Don't know where to direct this question if any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello
iTunes is compatible with Vista and there should not be any problem.
Yesterday, I installed iTunes 9 on my U400 and everything happened correctly.
If your laptop can not boot Vista correctly, then you should try the repair feature.Turn on the computer and press F8. Now you will see the advanced boot menu.
Now, you have many choices. As a first step, you should try the option called: last good known Configuration (Advanced)
If this will not help and the Vista will not start then try the option called repair your computer. This option displays a list of system recovery tools, you can use to repair startup problems, run diagnostics, or restore your system.
If that does not help, then you will need to retrieve the unit using the Toshiba recovery disc or HARD drive recovery.

Satellite A300D updated Vista to seven back
I bought the laptop Toshiba Satellite A300D with Windows vista Home Premium, after purchase, I burned 2 DVD recovery and after that, I ordered the upgrade to windows Seven and updated my laptop.
My question is: if I burn now recovery DVDs, will recover their laptop for Windows Seven or if I want to reinstall Windows Seven I should recover the Vista laptop, and then reinstall Windows Seven?
"Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator" is not designed to create the image of the current state of OS recovery.
This tool is created to burn already created recovery image of media such as CD or DVD.Thus, the second part of your question is the correct answer at the same time. You must install Vista using the recovery disc and later he switch to Win7.

How to remove Satellite PSU44E U400 Vista and install Win XP
Because a large part of my specialized software is designed to work with XP pro, I need to remove my U400 of Vista Home Premium and install XP Pro. As others have found with other models Toshiba simply placing XP disc in the DVD drive results in "dreaded blue screen" with error 0X0000007B (0XF78D2524, etc) and correctly configured hard drive reviews / looking for the virus/run Chdsk/F to check corruption.
Change drive HARD BIOS from AHCI to compatibility mode allows to XP disk load and run as "Press ENTER to load XP" but pressing 'Enter' does nothing; other keys have no effect either and the only way I found is to press on the On / Off button. Re change from "AHCI" to "Compatibility" there are also a lot of comments on other users for suggesting that using compatibility mode makes it much slower than the AHCI mode disk access. However, despite searching the Web using Tosh HDD not registered model (MK3252GSX) I can't find a driver XP ATA to nLite XP before trying again.
Can someone tell me a procedure they used to remove Vista and replace it with XP Pro on you U400 PSU44E please?
Hello
I have a U400 and I ve installed Win XP on my baby with no problems.
There are two options; either you'll assign compatible SATA mode (in BIOS), or you leave the option in AHCI mode and will include the SATA drivers that are part of the Intel Storage Manager.
Intel Storage Manager can be downloaded from the Toshiba page (you can find it in the category U400).I managed to include the SATA drivers with nLite and everything worked as it should.
PS; Win XP should include min. SP2! -
Satellite L300 PSLB0E - cannot install Vista and Win XP
Hello
I have a L300, model number PSLB0E sat. \
It was originally loaded with vista home premium, but it starts now not at all.
I made a disc of vista Home premium and the number to go with it, but it gets as far as "windows installation" but then it stops.I tried to new hard drive, same loading XP pro not working!
I think it's Bios, but after the download from Toshiba on this PC and transfer it to a memory stick, my laptop can't see it?Please can someone point me in the right direction?
A big thank you in advance Paul
Hi mate
Please check in the BIOS if the disc is visible.
If so, then set compatible SATA to AHCI mode and then try to boot from the Vista or Win XP disc. But if the HARD drive is not visible in the BIOS then it would mean that the HARD drive is dead and so you cannot install the operating system.
Check it!

Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
