  • Click on Toshiba Mini - lack of Microsoft Office

I'll try to be as clear and concise as possible.

I just bought a Toshiba with Windows 8 and supposedly click Mini a free one year subscription to Office 365 Personal, which was a big reason to buy. Windows 'guest' improves immediately to 10 Windows, I did. When I looked through the apps install Office/activate my membership there was nothing! I have reset the device and he is now on Windows 8, but still no office! I spoke with someone from Microsoft tech and he says I need a product key, but there is certainly nothing in the box or on the computer. This model is provided with Office 365 preinstalled and only that requires activation? Is it possible to restore the device to exactly as it was fresh out of the box?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light!

I have exactly the same problem. Bought mine a month ago. Only reason why I chose this particular model was the free subscription of office. I call customer service today but remained without response (even if it was only about an hour). Wonder how much people is tearing their hair on that one? Well, good luck to everyone who is affected, hope that the customer service will come with a solution, otherwise I would consider this a clear case of a product sold!

  • Need to know what video mini-DV cameras are compatible with Vista

I recently upgraded to Vista, only to find my mini-DV camcorder is not compatible :( I need to get a new one anyway, but I want to make sure that the new is compatible with Vista before buy you. The camera must be also mini-DV, like all my work is on mini-DV tapes. Is there a link to a Web page that lists the video camera models supported by Vista? Any help would be appreciated; my work pile up!

    Hi the SpinelessIdiot,

Microsoft has information about hardware compatibility for different versions of Windows, including Windows Vista. You can track the information of compatibility from the link below.

    See this link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/search.aspx?type=hardware&s=mini%20DV

Check what DV - min camcorders are compatible with Windows Vista.

You can check the characteristics of the available camcorders and see one that meets your need.

Similarly, you can follow the compatibility information about other products. Search by product category (hardware and software) and the name of the product, or browse through the categories of hardware and software. Use the search to find one or two products. You can also use Browse to find information for multiple products from the same vendor, or product suppliers in a common category or subcategory.

    I hope this information helps!

    1 reboot.

You can try the system restore before it happened.

    ===========================================

If necessary you may be of the wrong driver for your Version of Windows.

Start - type in the search box-> Winver find upstairs and double click it
He will tell if you have 64-bit.

    -----------------------------------------

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Just you'd go to Toshiba Support and get the driver for your model laptop.

    Go to your model.

Good time to get some other updates here.

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Toshiba built in camera, Chicony 2.0 USA get the message 'enable camera' in Vista

Im having trouble with my Tosibas built into the camera. My laptop is about 3 years, the camera used to work... after 5 months of not to use I wanted to use it and it just all just with an error message saying 'The camera' I can see a few people have the same problem but tried everything that they you told to do.

-If I go to the control panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers, there "Chicony usb 2.0 camera" but according to him there a '!' in a yellow triangle.

-If I go to Device Manager > imaging devices it says 'unknown device. Also tried to update the software, but its already updated. I could uninstall it, but then I don't know how to reinstall it again? Site Web de Toshiba wasn't any help.

-If I go into the control panel > programs > programs and features > camera assistant software > change > repair it asks me to find ToshibaCAS.exe... im so confused! someone please help!

Chicony USB 2.0 need turn on the camera.

Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you do it for the camera - drivers, firmware or sofrware), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Talk to technical support if you can't find these numbers on your own (and while that you have, ask them to help you in the installation and configuration).  Follow these steps to get the drivers:http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

It is certainly a device driver or problem (as indicated by what you disclosed above).  You must obtain the correct items, and then perform the installation or the reinstallation.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Driver for mini digital camera

the system came with my digital camera requirements are win98/ME/2000/XP and my photos will not download to your device. I am running windows vista I have to install another driver

If the camera mftr. does not have a Vista driver (and Yes, you would need to go to the camera mftr. site to find this driver) then just buy a USB card reader. Take the memory card from your camera out of it, insert it into the USB card reader that will be attached to the computer. Then you will be able to get your photos off the coast of the memory card from the camera into the computer. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Orientation screen Toshiba still Mini WT7-C-100 questions

    Hello

I have problems with the orientation of the screen of my Encore Toshiba Mini WT7-C-100.

After the upgrade to Windows 10, I downloaded and re-installed the driver of Kionix and Toshiba display driver. As a result, I've updated the drivers via Device Manager and the following drivers now appear in Device Manager:

    Sensor: Accelerometer 3 axes Kionix KXC19 SPB - pilot 1.2.8.4 9/1/2015

Types of sensors: Fusion for Kionix and Sdo sensor V2 sensor device - driver 1.0.29.5 9/22/2015

    See attached picture 1.

I tried to allow rotation of the screen on the view menu, under settings, but the Tablet has always (portrait and landscape) hit one or the rotation is always 180 degrees forward.

Search on Google, I came with messages indicating that the registry under Kionox should have an entry with the orientation of the name and value as a reg_binary: 01 00 01 00 00 02

I created a new entry in the registry in accordance with the instructions, but it did not help. See attached picture 2.

Is is something I'm missing or doing wrong?

Anyone who has the same 7' tablet can check the orientation entry in the registry and let me know the correct values?

Same problem here can anyone who has updated and did NOT changed the driver let us know their parameters. (Hoping only that things bump)

  • Toshiba Satellite click 2 Mini - impossible to reinstall Windows OS

My toshiba mini right2 stopped working so I reset and tried to burn it all up even 10 and 8 to several usb drives windows to reinstall windows but when I boot in windows settings it does not I can't touch the screen to change the options or go forward using the key board.

the reason why Ive been trying to reinstall windows is because when I get to the windows 10 setting screen I fit my WiFi settings and English then the pc says please wait a minute later the screen flashes black and it restarts and I have to enter the settings again I have reset several times the pc sent do reboot if I leave the Park to language select on-screen.

Toshiba wants 80 pounds just to reinstall windows, but I don't know how they're going to do if I can't

If you have re-installed Windows successfully, but when he starts at the 'first time' Settings Wizard, where you enter the name of the computer, the user name, the wifi settings, etc you can not use the touchscreen or keyboard? I had this problem before as well. If you have a new installation of Windows then the drivers for the keyboard and touch screen are not available. The only way around this is to plug in a USB keyboard. I don't remember exactly, but I do not think the USB full-size on the keyboard dock works until the driver is installed, so you may need to get an adapter USB On The Go, so you can plug a USB keyboard full size in on the Tablet microUSB port.

  • Mini-map PCI Bluetooth Toshiba Satellite A80

Hello, I would like to know if the Toshiba mini PCI is a mini pci standard bus.

The reason is I want to upgrade my A80-131 with a bluetooth card in the manual, I've seen this option but I Don t find a correct toshiba mini-pci card.

So, if the mini-pci bus is a standard bus and the card have windows drivers, I could buy a standard bluetooth card and install it in my laptop?

    Thank you.

    [Edited by: admin August 7 05 22:04]

    Hello Smith

As much as I know your device isn't Bluetooth ready and there is no way to use a card PCI Bluetooth Mini for Satellite A80. The best solution is the small USB Bluetooth key. It's not expensive and configuration is very easy.

    Good bye

  • Vivitar camera digital mini driver download

Driver mini digital camera Vivitar to put the captain on computer. Don't download don't have disk. ???????????????? What to do?

Went to the site web vivatar and downloaded driver for camera, but have not installed completely. I tried several times but no go. Now what should I do? I have the camera connected to the computer via the usb port. But I can not the peak of the camera to my computer displays no camera

First of all, did you hear the USB "ding" sound when you connect the device to the PC?

You tell us which Vivitar digital camera you have, there are 28 listed to the vivitar.com, so it is difficult for us to try to work on what is happening, but I would try to uninstall all the software from the Control Panel, programs & features that you have already installed, then try again download, and when you start the file instead of doubleclicking on it, right click and select run as administrator and see if it works.

If there is no "ding" sound, then the camera isn't all talk to the PC, drivers or not drivers.

The other alternative (if possible and always the best option) is to use a card reader.
