  I bought this camera at amazon. Here is a brief history and problems with the battery of the dock.

  • Initially on the Tablet (while connected to anchor) - took more than 30 minutes to load. I guess that it was because the battery is discharged. (Fortunately it eventually start to load)
  • In Windows 8.1. the dock battery showed that 100%, and the Tablet battery rose as he was in charge. The 100% seems to have been a problem with the bios installed on the machine (which was showing 100%, whereas in reality it was empty)
  • Updated the bios to V5. Now the battery dock was showing as 0%.
  • Upgrade to windows 10

  None amount of charging would be the keyboard battery. Once the tablet to 100%, it would give the status of "not charging" for battery 2.

  I tried the following

  • Kept the device overnight to 2 times (but keep in mind that it was about 10 hours only) - maybe 24 hours can do the trick? but could not do what I didn't want to take the risk of keeping a charged device while I was at work. Will try it in the weekend.
  • Turns the unit off completely and then charged the overnight (this would show the two lights for the batteries and showed an icon to load next to the second battery, but no change in the status of the battery)
  • Tried to remove the battery from the dock. kept the deleted (took out the connection to the circuit) for 30 minutes, then reconnected to the Tablet and power, but no change.
  • Attempted to power the device via a USB low power (500ma port USB of PC). No difference.
  • Attempted to remove, reinstall the battery drivers in Device Manager, try different combinations and reinstall...

  Overall I'm rather disappointed that Toshiba sell laptops with batteries discharged. This seems to be very common with this model. A few people I know also seem to have bought this camera and have exactly the same problem

  With regard to the charging of the battery for 24 hours. Is it not well known that this type of so completely discharged battery can be destroyed already. And the beginning of load normally after 24 hours to be constantly connected to the ca?

  You can't buy a faster charger because the 2 amp limit is set by the microphone. USB port not spec not the charger.

  It is important to use the wire of origin or one for loading. If you use a regular USB cable, especially a long, it will load much more slowly.

  I intend to get a Mini click. It's great as a 8.9 inch tablet PC / laptop with a lot of battery.
  The material is exactly what I'm looking for.
  But I need a dual OS tablet.
  So I would like to install Android on an SD card.

  But with my Asus tablet, I'm not able to use Android with all drivers. For example, display was very hard to match. And now the wifi does not work.

  I got the magic stick of Ubuntu starts in Android OK. I think the touch screen driver worked, but I was also able to use a USB hub, mouse, and keyboard.

  I remember well the wifi, and dock keyboard and mouse do not work.

  I think that if you have built a kernel * with the wifi driver required, you would probably get OK, that work with the dock keyboard and mouse.   I think that my BBIIIIIIIGGG mistake was to buy a toshiba product...

  There is an upgrade of the driver for Windows 10 for Mini click on the Toshiba support website. If you have not already done so, update the drivers and see if that fixes the problem. For the record, the two keys work correctly on my Windows 10 click on Mini.

• Impossible to reinstall Windows on Satellite A105-S2141

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2141 I'm trying to reinstall Windows on after a bad virus infection. When I entered the Windows CD (OEM cd, not original) and it loads all the drivers it BSOD PAge_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area with 0 x 50.
  I ran several diagnostics hardware on the machine (memtest, hard drive tests, winstress) and nothing comes back bad. I put in a disk of Vista for sh * s and giggles and it loads fine.

  At this point, I think that it is a SATA driver that must be loaded with Windows. I can't find this driver anywhere

  I agree with James. You suggested that your laptop has crashed. I guess that's the HARD disk head crash. In this case, there is nothing to see. The HARD drive is dead and you need a new.

  5. own MBRtool track 0. Result: "error extracting geometry from disc to disc 129, track 0 not cleaned."
  6 HDAT2 v.4.5.3 to verify and repair bad sectors. Result: "Verify 14877386 - incorrigible CRC or ECC error on read. Warnings = 0, bad sectors = 3, repaired = 0,! Security = frozen. "After asking to clear the boot sectors received similar error message.

  HARD drive original IC25N020ATCS04-0. BIOS, by default, recognizes this.

  My guestions:
  1. is really defective of the boot sector or a place is a "switch" in a bad position?
  2. all the tools to redirect MBR to another location?
  3. are there any restrictions on the replacement of the HARD drive?

  I'm glad you still use this old model of laptop.

  Before I try to give you some answers, I recommend you to install Windows XP Home edition (try to install) just to see if it is using standard mode works or not. I can't say for sure, but to me that sounds like defective HARD drive then maybe you should exchange it. This old IDE drives are not that expensive (eBay) and you can exchange it only.

  (1) as far as I know there is no any kind of switch.
  (2) of these tools is not offered by Toshiba

  Of course you can reinstall Windows and it s especially the best way to get rid of these bluescreens. Best option is that restore you the factory settings recovery option of HARD drive as described in your user manual. Windows will be automatically reinstalled with all drivers and tools.

  But I would recommend first creating Toshiba Recovery disk before you start the recovery of HARD drive. In which case it would go something wrong you are on the safe side because the recovery disc can always restore the factory settings on a new HDD without Windows.

  In my opinion, the Toshiba Recovery disk error message is very interesting and says a lot. What do you think about this?

  If your HARD drive is defective, you need a new and you are not able to reinstall the OS. Maybe your HARD drive needs to be exchanged.

  In your case I would contact an authorized service provider. Technicians can check your laptop and if it of under warranty, you should get a new HARD drive for free.
