  I am running Windows 7 and use parental control for several years.  My kids use Google Chrome with GMail and GoogleDrive for a lot of their homework.  In recent days on the child accounts Chrome slow down considerably with the message "establish a secure connection" when it starts for centuries, and then finally "Gmail App is not available".  After trying everything else (cookies, compensation, disabling extensions, historical disconnect account) I turned off parental control of Microsoft, and Chrome came back to life.  I've now changed the security settings to "block adult sites" to "warn on adult sites" and Chrome works very well.  I'm not happy to leave this setting to warn but need to at the moment, so that they can do their homework.  Is this a Microsoft problem or is there anything else I can try to solve it?

• Gmail in firefox will not open the file selection window when adding attachments, no errors, just nothing. Chrome works fine on the same computer. Firefox is updated

  When you try to attach files to a message using gmail does not. I click on the paperclip icon and no windows open, show no errors, it just sitting there? I can't join the messages as expected using Chrome & gmail on the same computer.

  I cut and restarted the computer without modification. I current firefox [v31] and the computer is a dell desktop running Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2 build 6002.

  Google has fixed this problem with attachments in Gmail, on their side, so this should work without the workaround to allow pop ups for mail.google.com.

• I hit something on the right edge of the touchpad and the font size on gmail got huge.

• YouTube won't play full screen on Chrome

  When I select full screen, window stays, the same size, but moves at the top left of the screen. I go into settings and my hardware acceleration of the reduction option is gone, it used to be here... This only happens in YouTube, other videos on different sites, I can select full screen without problem, even if the acceleration of the reduction option went there too. Now I have only 4 options to choose in local contexts. He also went global settings.

  I tried to clear the caches etc... no joy. It works fine on IE9 for me, but I've always used Chrome & GMail and do not want to stop.

  I use Windows Vista Business 32-bit SP2, my browser is Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 my Flash version is 11.7.700.179, which is the correct version for my browser and the operating system is up-to-date. Windows, Chrome and Flash upgrades are all topical.

  I've been on the forums, I have enabled plug-ins, I erased and deleted the caches and Adobe files and it is now getting boring.

  I realize there was an update recently, but I don't want to start messing around on uninstalling and digging at the earlier versions etc... Is not just intended to be incorporated into Chrome and updated automatically so that users can avoid doing these kinds of things.

• TB will not identify PW for one of my email accounts

  I have three accounts of gmail, which I recently opened. I was able to set up the first two TB accounts without problem. When I opened the account of third parties, however, TB tells me that the password is incorrect. I tried several times and get the same message every time.

  I joined the site of gmail, offline and signed in. The same CI I tried to use in TB works perfectly on the site of gmail, so I know that it is correct. I even tried a copy and paste, to be sure I wasn't wrong he seized. But TB still does not recognize as valid.

  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can get TB to accept this account? This is my new work email, so I will continue to use the TB should I get it worked.

• Missing Google App Store icon

  Recently, the app Store game Google icon has disappeared from the bottom of the home screen on my 7 HP Slate tablet. However, the app is still on the shelf & accessible but just is not as easily as before.

  I would like to know how to put this icon on the home screen alongside other icons that are still there, such as icons for Chrome, Gmail and Youtube.

  Any help would be appreciated, it is not a major problem, but it's always a drawback.

  To add an icon to your home screen, locate the application you want to add, and then press and hold the icon.

  Your home screens will appear, and you can drag and drop the icon where you want to go!  :-)

  This will create a copy of the icon.  Don't forget to do not remove your finger until you have reached the target location.

My laptop (Gmail) SMTP server says that it is offline.  The same e-mail settings work on two desktop machines, two i-pads and an i-phone.  The it guy who helps out is also perplexed.  We solved the problem by putting in a different SMTP (his) server, but it has migrated to another server and it no longer works.  I want to solve this problem. The laptop is running 10.10.5.

• I can't connect to gmail or igoogle in Firefox 13 on my XP machine, but I can't in Chrome, which is not my browser by default, and in IE, which I hate.
