a couple of months ago with windows 8, which became 8.1 with w. update, I bought PC toshiba laptop SATELLITE P50-A-144.
Since then, fn + z key does not work, it says that light keyboard turns off whenver I press it.How could I solve this problem? It's my OCD tingle.

Strange. Something like that shouldn't happen. I updated my machine, but everything works fine.
I don't know if this will help, but try to reinstall the driver of Toshiba system and function key utility Toshiba.

The BIOS usually contain an option to enable and disable the internal webcam.
Go to the BIOS by pressing F2 and then check if the webcam is enabled. -
Touchpad does not work after update BIOS 1.08
I have an Acer Aspire ES1-711 with 10 windows and when I updated the BIOS to 1.08 the touchpad has become upresponsive after the restart. They keyboard work suddenly quit that I wrote this, I tired to disable and re-enable the touchpad and that caused the keyboard to stop working. This computer might as well be a desktop computer now because you have to use a wireless keyboard and mouse for use... Why must Acer always have a faulty BIOS updates?
Solved it by installing the IO series Drivers, driver Intel CITY and sideband fabric device driver.

Yesterday, that I've updated my S50 B 15F Satellite with Windows 10. Now the Touchpad no longer works. Tried enabling in the settings. This works except for the left and right buttons. I reinstall the software momentum but no change. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Just bought a S50D-B Satellite last week. Comfortable with technology. Updated to Windows 10 (3rd I did on the machine). New laptop is the only one to give problems. Tried allowing in settings - seems to be gaining 10 Auto turns off the device, which is strange. Indeed, it works (somewhat) with the exception of the buttons left and right. Tried to reinstall software momentum but no change. Any ideas?

the ELAN touchpad driver update is released and it seems as well as other updates for Windows 10.But of course, MOMENTUM software/driver must be installed in the case to receive this update!

I understand that your touch screen has stopped working after update the drivers on your laptop PC HP Pavilion 11 - n001tu x 360 .
How you did update the drivers?
You use Windows Update?
Have you checked to see if the driver has been disabled?
Have you tried to run the Troubleshooter in Windows?
Have you tried to do a hard reset?
Have you tried a update the BIOS and graphics driver?
Have you tried to perform a screen touch diagnosis the HP Hardware Diagnostic tests?
Have you tried to Configure the display key?
Have you tried to activate the driver in touch screen device manager?
Please follow these steps to see if you can activate the touch screen:
- Open the Device Manager
- Find "Human Interface Devices"
- Expand "Human Interface Devices"
- Right-click on "touch screen HD compliant."
- Click 'Activate' (if available)
- Restart your laptop.
If losing your touch screen happened after you had made a set of Windows updates, use the system restore feature and choose a date that was before the problems began.
To use the system restore in Windows:
- Go to the Search
- Type of Control Panel
- Click on Control Panel
- Click System
- Click on the System Protection
- Click the System Protection tab
- Click on System Restore
- Click Next
- Choose a restore point
- Click Next
- A box that says "once started, the system restore cannot be interrupted. Do you want to continue? ' displays
- Click Yes to confirm
When the system restore is complete, you'll be up a pop that says that it has been completed.

If you have reinstalled your system using the Toshiba recovery disks the touchpad should have the right drivers and be fully functional. I seem to remember that it is possible to disable the touch pad using one of the "keyboard shortcuts" (F9 on my SA30) in order to check that it has not been inadvertently pressed.
