Errors in installation

Hello

I have trouble setting my Flight simulator X edition.  When installing, it freezes and says: error1309. Error reading
the file E:\XSX\Simconnect.dll. Check that the file exists and that you can access.

Can someone help me? I don't know why it does. Any help is appreciated with gratitude.

There are several reasons that could be causing the problem.

There is a list of steps that must be performed in order to narrow down and isolate the problem.

Here are a few questions before you start this function of the response may require different steps to resolve the problem.  Is there information in reliability on the failure of the installation monitor?  Click on start ORB / right click computer - select Manager / monitor reliability and performance / reliability monitor - there are five Sections of report of status of failure indicated at the bottom of the window.  Look through these reports and the list in the forum all that relates to this failure.  That is to say the ERROR XML, Direct X - etc.  In addition, do you remember any hardware or software changes preceding this installation?  What revision of Windows Vista and which service pack is running this system - click Start ORB / type of search WINVERS line and it should show you this information.  It list in this forum too.

If you get XML errors, we probably need to uninstall MSXML packs and reinstall them, so let us know if this is what you see in the reliability monitor, ignore the following steps, and give you the instructions to the XML file.

Here are some general troubleshooting steps to suffer this problem until we know more information:

This problem can occur for the following reasons:

  • If the Temp files are conflicting.
  • If there are other applications that run in the background.
  • If the security software coming into conflict with the game.
  • If the administrator rights are poorly positioned.

To clear the temporary files:

1. Click Start, type % temp % in the start search box and press ENTER.

2. in the Organize menu, click Select all.

3. from the Organize menu, click on delete.

To determine if other applications that run in the background are the origin of the conflict:

Run MODE MINIMAL start-up process.  Use step 1, and then try to install it, if it fails to move on to STEP 7 - THIS IS IMPORTANT and restore your system to a STATE of NORMAL STARTUP.

To check if the security software is in conflict with the game:

Step 3. Open an administrator command prompt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

1. click on start-> all programs-> Accessories-> guest of command, then make a right click by selecting

2. "run as Administrator" and clicking on "allow" for the rapid rise

In the command prompt, type the following command

3. true fsutil resource setautoreset C:\

("This implies that C: is the drive in which microsoft - com:office:smarttags" / > Vista is installed.) If it is installed on another drive as D: Please change the appropriate drive letter)

Hwiggy, follow the steps above, and then try to reinstall the game.  Let us know if this helps solve the problem or if assistance is needed.

If the steps above do not work, try to uninstall and reinstall the game:

Step 1. Uninstall the game.

------------------------------------------

1. click on start.

2. click on Control Panel.

3. click on switch to Classic view.

4. click on add or remove programs.

5. Select the Microsoft Flight Simulator X and click on delete.

Delete the game folder.

1. right click on start.

2. click on explore.

3. click on Program Files.

4. double click on Microsoft games.

5. Select the Flight Simulator X folder and press Delete on the keyboard.

Delete the folder that saved the game content.

1. click on start and then click Documents.

2 right click on the Flight Simulator Files folder, if it exists, and then click on remove.

Note: If the Flight Simulator Files folder does not exist, close the Documents window, and then proceed to step 3.

3. click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the folder and all of its contents.

4. close the window of Documents.

Delete the FSX folder.

1. click on start.

2. press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the run window.

3. type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the box and click OK.

4. double-click on the Microsoft folder.

5. Select FSX folder and press Delete on the keyboard.

Step 2. Remove the game from registry.

WARNING: If you use the correct registry editor, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft does not guarantee that you can solve problems that result from the use of the Publisher of the registry incorrectly. Use the Publisher of the registry at your own risk.

Remove the game under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE entries

1. click on start.

2. press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the run window.

3. in the box type regedit, then press the Enter key.

4. double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

5 double-click on the software.

6 double-click on Microsoft.

7 double-click on Microsoft Games.

8. double-click on Flight Simulator.

9 select the 10.0 folder and press Delete on the keyboard.

Remove the game under HKEY_CURRENT_USER entries

1. click on start.

2. press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the run window.

3. in the box type regedit, then press the Enter key.

4. double click HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

5 double-click on the software.

6 double-click on Microsoft.

7 double-click on Microsoft Games.

8. double-click on Flight Simulator.

9 select the 10.0 folder and press Delete on the keyboard.

Note: The above steps completely remove the flight simulator x restart the computer.

Step 4. Install the game.

------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Insert the game disc in the drive.

Note: Do not click Express install during installation.

2. follow the setting menus until you see the button change.

3. click on modify.

4. in the path box, delete the existing path and type drive: \Program Files\Microsoft Games\ name of the game. In this example, drive is the drive letter of the hard disk and name of the game is the name of the game you are trying to install.

5. click OK when you are finished.

6. follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install the game.

Once installed Flight Simulator X, then turn on the game and then try to install Flight Simulator X Acceleration pack. Once installed the Acceleration pack and then try to run the game and check if you get to the screen to activate the game. Then activate the game.

    Yes to one of these government sites where users are prevented access to their desktop. The workaround is to plan a person to MAKE their installation to enter the admin password.

  • LV 2011: Error 1334: Installation cannot find a file in data.cab

    I'm trying to create an installation using Setup LV2011. After a success, I test it on PC Windows 7 x 64 and I see this error during installation:

    Error 1334: The file: XYZ cannot be installed because the file is not found in the data.cab file... Continue?

    I check the data.cab file and see the file XYZ. The XYZ file is BAT file that I want to run after the installer is finished, or another file included in the installer.

    Any suggestions?

    You run the patch f2? It is supposed to solve a known problem with the construction of large installers, it isn't you receive the error message, but it could be a side effect.

    I checked through the other problems for LabVIEW 2011 known, and I have not found something that seemed relevant. I also checked for corrective action requests and have not found those that mention the same problem.

    I have found some similar questions of LabVIEW 8.5, and in these cases, the culprit was a + in file names. You can check that the names of files in your error message exactly the names of files in the file data.cab. You can also try to change file names relevant to something very simple with only letters.

    I was wondering, are you will be able to include all the other files that do not throw errors, or each file that you try throws errors?

    If you wish to post your project, I would be happy to see if I can reproduce the error.

    Try this:

    Step 1: Run the file as administrator.

    a. right click on the downloaded installation file.

    b. Select run as administrator.

    c. then follow the installation wizard.

    Step 2: If it does not help, reset the windows updates and then try to install the update.

  • HP Photosmart 6280 all-in-one: HP Photosmart C6280 all-in-One error - wstub 197370' «Fatal error during Installation»

    I have a problem with my HP 6280 All in One Printer. There are a few problems and it's really annoying, I wonder if anyone can prove useful please?

    I uninstalled the software and drivers for the Photosmart series C6200 of the site, and when re installation, the software starts uninstalling itself and gives the following message:

    "Error - wstub 197370'

    "Fatal error during Installation"

    And then starts to uninstall the entire software package and then request to restart to uninstall complete.

    Once restarted, the whole scenario goes in a loop that is the uninstall process? Very confusing indeed and have never experienced this kind of problem before!

    I searched our database for "error - wstub 197370' and did not find anything related, but I found some documents related to"Fatal error during Installation"errors." Here is a document that can help - Displays A 'fatal error' during HP Software Installation (Windows).

    I'll try to uninstall the software and printer drivers. Click here if you need help with uninstalling.

    Then I would erase the temp directory.

    1. tap folder in the field "search programs and files".

    2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove.

    Once removed to close all windows and restart the computer.

    When the computer restarts, download and install the latest version of the software and the printer drivers.

  • Defective JavaScript and cannot be removed or reinstalled, get «fatal error during installation»

    As a result of an error indicating that javascript has not been installed (Internet options/security/scripting is set correctly) I tried to remove the Javascript (before a new installation) but which have resulted in a message: fatal error during installation (probably installshield). I'm so stuck without Javascript and cannot update or delete it.

  • "Fatal error during Installation"

    I am trying to remove Apple Mobile Device Support on my computer because my iPod cannot be detected.  I click on delete and it gets all the way to the end before reversing and showing the message «Fatal error during Installation»

    I solved this problem by clicking on edit instead of delete it. Then, when the software uninstall program apple appears, choose Delete. This should allow you to remove the apple software.
    There seems to be a conflict between the program uninstall ASU and windows.
    Please make sure that you clean the registry of unwanted entries before you reinstall the software from Apple. I recommend using CCleaner.

  • Reference Dell D10S: Software 451dn Laserjet Pro 400 has error during installation.

    LaserJet works fine when plugged in to USB, but now moved to a place wireless. The software will not work.

    I tried install printer Win 10: "the pilot is not available.
    Tried to uninstall the universal printer driver, restart, reinstall the HP driver, error (without code).

    HP Print doctor can find the device downloads the latest version, but it crashes every time (error, no codes).

    Win 10 can see the printer... it is therefore in the range wireless.

    I tried all the software different packaging to win 10 on HP site... all get an error during installation.

    Here's what worked.  I downloaded the universal print driver from HP.  These installed to their default location.  Taking note of where they have installed.

    Then, 10 Windows, try installing the printer laserjet Pro 400.  "Missing drivers".<- this="" is="" an="" important="" step.=""  leave="" the="" printer="" icon="">

    Then go to control panel, small icons.  Device Manager.  Search for printers, find the Laserjet printers.
    Right-click and choose update drivers.  Do not update automatically.  Choose the manual option.

    Look for the universal printer driver.  Wait a minute... BOOM.  All right.  Printing of all wireless PC and laptop.

    Thanks for posting back.  The other drives must have some sort of issue if they all failed to install.  If you have to install on the last of them, then is not the operating system recovery or the laptop.

    With some drives, there could be questions that are not connected to bad sectors.  It may be something with reading / writing system.

  • PhotoSmart C6280 - fatal error during Installation

    I have Win 7 (64-bit) system and can not install the software for my C6280 all-in-One Printer.  I get a message "Fatal error during Installation" and then the software tries to uninstall.  During this process, a reboot is required and then the software tries to install again and it fails.  I'm in a circle without end of the installation-uninstall-install-uninstall...

    How to do this?  I want to uninstall completely all the software associated with this printer and then start over from the beginning.

    The issue that brought this situation was that I was getting the following message is displayed when starting:

    "There was a problem starting C:\users\Myron\AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage\HP\zelqof.dll.

    The specified module could not be found. »

    I guess the missing module would settle if I re - install all software associated with the printer as it is ONLY connected printer (USB) to the PC.

    I see that you have a problem with a loop uninstall/reinstall the software and drivers.

    If you have Norton 360 installed, please disable it and restart the computer.  When the computer is back on, try to reinstall with Norton 360 always off.

    Hi, I have the same error when I tried to install it on my pc.

    What I did:

    1. run the cleanup utility on the Local C drive windows disk

    2. restart your computer.

    3 run ccleaner , then click on "cleaner".

    Then, got to 'Register' then click Scan then click Fix all issues...

    4. prior to installing the Sims 3 game, clean installation disk using a disk cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Make sure the disk is dry until you load it in your DVD player.

    5. once the installation is complete, restart the computer. Then, refer to steps 1-4.
