Touchpad lost after the signature of user account on Satellite L70

I lose the touchpad cursor after signing my user account, but it still works on a different user account and before you enter the PIN code of my account.

How to re - activate it on my account? Obviously, I can't do much without the Tablet!

I suspect that some combinations of keys has been activated accidentally while cleaning the keyboard.

With the help of Windows 10

Searching the Web I found that the F5 key activates or turns off.

  • Preferences system earned (t close after the cancellation of an account

My computer is under El Capitan I canceled an account, as I had no use for him. Now, the preferences system won (t close after the cancellation of this account

    Hello JEHAN1,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know that to be a problem with the system of preferences on your Mac don't close does not correctly, it's not what you expect!

If I understand correctly, you deleted a user on your Mac is no longer used. Then, when you quit System preferences, system preferences no longer and do not close. The good news is that you have two options:

    1. first of all, you can try to use the Force Quit option in menu Apple logo to force system preferences to exit, and then restart your Mac.

Force a nearby application on your Mac.

    2. If you are still not able to get the system preferences to close, then shut down your Mac by choosing stop from the Apple menu, or press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until your Mac asked if not sure you want to shut down your computer now.

How to turn on or off your Mac

    3. If you can't stop your Mac because it does not respond, you can force it to switch off without stopping. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds until your Mac goes off. Use this method only when you cannot stop.

You can also try the safe boot mode to help solve, as Safe Mode performs some system checks, removes the systems cache files, verifies your startup disk and tries to fix the problems of directory, if necessary.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  • RA media server became administrator after changing my standard user account

    What is the password?

RA media server became administrator after changing my standard user account. Now, I can not retrieve my admin rights because he kept asking admin password that I don't know. System Restore didn't help coz' it was not far enough for the moment I changed my standard user account.

I called Dell, but I don't want to pay the support service which costs more than a hundred dollars.

I need some help on how I could get my admin rights back again.

I have no copy of the installers for some of my important software which is why I'm afraid to reinstall the program, or even do a system recovery.

I use a 32-bit vista. The only solution I can think of is to get "system user", but I don't know how.

    Please I need help.

What are the causes of the log of user account on missing cursor in Windows XP? I have two trays of office that they have this same problem. If you restart them the cursor returns?

    Hi DaddyJeff,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
    2. are you referring to the cursor in the area of user password on the login screen of Windows?
    3. when the cursor goes missing, the mouse pointer works on screen?

It is difficult to say what is causing this problem. If the mouse pointer freezes or stops working, then we recommend you to reinstall the mouse. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. sign in to Windows.
    b. Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then click ok.
    c. in the list of objects, expand mice and other pointing devices.
    d. right click on the sub element and click on uninstall.
    e. unplug the mouse and plug it back.
    f. the Device Manager, select an item in the list, click the Action menu, click scan for hardware changes.
    g. check if the mouse is detected, if so, then install it.

See mouse USB which is connected to a USB 2.0 hub is not detected by Windows XP

if the problem persists, restore the computer to an earlier time. See How to restore Windows XP to a previous state

  • The Windows 7 user account control settings does not open

    Hello

Someone knows a problem where a computer launches the application "change user account control settings?  We are dev work on multiple PCs and need to disable this feature.  Normally, I would run the UAC and just drag the bar down, but I can't even the application to load.  I even tried running: C:\Windows\System32\userAccountControlSetings.exe and it does nothing.

    Thank you
    Sean

Well, I was not able to understand why the window UAC doesn't appear, however, I managed to disable UAC via the local policy settings.  For reference purposes:

    1. Start > run > gpedit.msc
    2. Computer configuration > Windows settings > security settings > local policies > Security Options
    3. Then define:
    4. User account control: behavior of the guest of elevation for administrators in Admin Approval Mode – set its value toElevate without asking for confirmation.
    5. User account control: detect application installations and prompt for elevation - set its value todisabled.
    6. User account control: only elevate the UIAccess applications that are installed in secure locations - set its value todisabled.
    7. User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode - set its value todisabled.

You can not. You need to do this via the control panel / accounts of users or via the command prompt. In both cases, you need to be logged in as an administrator account.

  • I deleted several accounts of users, but after that I have restart the laptop all user accounts have been restored?

I deleted several user accounts and need to restart to changesw can take effect, but after that I have to restart the laptop then all user accounts have been restored?

    Hi GhettoBoy,

How do you delete user accounts? Is it just C:\Dosument and settings users or accounts under the control panel? If you don't want to keep all these account data, you can try to delete the profile of click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> Advanced-> user profile and select the profile and remove. Also check under 'User accounts' in the control panel to remove the names of users.

    I hope this helps.

  • Outlook pst files lost after the creation of new users on PC

After re-setup of Small Business Server 2003 with a different domain name, I had to then modify the user account from PC on their individual computers. After selecting the new domain and restart the PC, windows XP has treated change as if I created a new user. Windows created new parameters for the user and all Outlook files have disappeared. Windows archive/back them somewhere? Why Windows did create new parameters for the same user?

  • Problem with the files of user account after cloning a HD to SSD

I cloned my HD to my new SSD and everything worked fine.  So, based on advice from experts online, I tried to move some of my HD user account folders (my pictures, My Documents, etc.).  So I created a new folder on my HDD called Brad Data.  I then went in the folder my pictures on users\Brad on my SSD, selected properties-map and told to move into the new folder on my hard drive.  The files transferred properly.  Then I went to my HD and could no longer see the file Data of Brad.  I saw my pictures.  Strange.  Then I tried to create a new Brad Data folder and he asked me if I wanted to merge with the existing one.  What?  So I transferred the folder my pictures to my SSD under users\Brad.  OMG.  Now I have more a user folder of Brad.  I have a folder my pictures that contains all the files that were Brad.  It's crazy.  I can it unscrew somehow or I need to reclone and start over?

Hi Luna, it will work even under your C:\Users\Username folder.  You do not have something wrong, it's just that the icons you see under "This PC" are shortcuts to the same places, but you cannot add additional of your choice under "This PC" ones as you can do in the users folder.
