Track effects rack: animate effects individual power

Hello

In a CS6 project, I have a mix with two effects bus. a filter and reverb.

The filter must remain on all the time, but I want to "animate" the effect of reverberation on and outside over the timeline.

The manual says that I can use the power envelope 'Power Rack' to activate the effects on and outside; This is basically true, however, I can not turn off the reverb without turning off the filter.

Is it possible to animate each track FX on and outside, or do I have to separate the effects of different tracks?

Thank you

Hello

Currently, the power effects individual States cannot be automated, although this feature is in our backlog of data base and I will add your comments to the notes that should help determine the priority.  In the meantime, you can create a bus with the reverb in his basket, assign the output of your audio track to the bus, and then automate the effects rack power bus.  Your audio track would still have the Notch Filter, and it would not be affected by automation in the bus lane.

  • CC 2015: Sous-suite does not copy audio track effects

I love the concept of the new subsequence feature, but it appears (unless I'm doing something wrong) that the sous-suite copy on the effects to the audio track.

Please can someone confirm whether or not this is the case? If not, please let me know what I'm doing wrong, and if yes, I think it's a major oversight which should be fixed in the next version.

    Hi David,

Unfortunately, we cannot copy and paste audio effects of a track to the other. I agree, it should be possible, however, and I hope that we can soon.

  • Way to turn all effects video power button at the same time?

    Greetings fellow forum members!

I have a small question: is there an easy way to turn off all the effects of the video to the ECW (effect controls window) and back at the same time?

Sometimes I add several effects to a clip, and I would like the original clip and the modified version.  If there is a way to do what I'm missing, please let me know!  If not, I'll send an EN Adobe for adding the feature "Shift-toggle all at once" for icons "fx" in ECW, given that this function works brilliantly in the timeline (to toggle all the 'exit follow', 'Sync Lock' and follow targeting both).

    Thank you!

  • You will need to set audio track in CC animate...

Quick question... is it hard to bring audio track in animate CC. do this in an hour or two.

It is not difficult, but there are a lot of problems that you may encounter depending on what you intend to do with the sound.

No matter what, make the sound 44.1 KHz, 16-bit (mono or stereo). Other bit depths are likely to fail to import, and other sampling rates can lead to synchronization problems.

If it's an AS3 FLA, especially if you plan to synchronize animation to audio, store the file as a WAV file.

If it's HTML5 Canvas, make it be MP3 before importing the file.

  • Animation in After Effects with videos

During the animation in After Effects, instead use a background Uni, can I use a video as a background and play as the character moves? I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've seen people question about animation Flash ect and the development, but I need to animate in the AF. I hope someone can help out me!

There are several ways to create a die animation between Photoshop and After Effects.

    Here are two simple methods:

    1. create a platform of character parts in photoshop (head, torso, branches) on separate layers.  Later, import those into a project and animate as individual layers.

2 animate in PHOTOSHOP. If you animate traditionally by the drawing of each image in Photoshop, make sure that you start on an empty layer (not a background merged/flattened).  You can then import the photoshop document as if it were a movie, but still have the ability to change it.

  • Track matte key

    Hello

This may be a question for PhotoShop, but I want to use the matte key track effect to have a cut-out section move on the screen.  I think I can understand the effect to create what I want but problem is how you create a circle with a transparent background to layer on the timeline, creating the effect?  With the help of Pre11 / PS 11.

    Thank you

The circle with the transparent background IS the matte, Steve.

To create the effect you're trying to create, you put a white circle on a track above the video that you wan to drill a hole and use keyframes to animate its position - and then you add the matte effect to the video and video reference in the white circle.

You can use a PSD layered backgroundless for your circle, or you can use the adjustments title drawing tools to create the white circle.

FWIW, this is one of the 50 effects that I show you how create, step by step, in my book "tips tricks & Cool hot for first Elements 11", available on Amazon.

  • Battery drains Lenovo x 230 quickly in mode "ensure"; Power management centre does not work

I have my laptop lenovo x 230 put to sleep when I close the lid. When I close the lid of the icon of 'sleep' on the back of the screen lights up. But the dough will not last all night on mode 'sleep'. In about five hours, the battery is completely flat, and I have to plug it in and start the system. I've never seen this run poor dough in mode 'sleep' on any laptop I've ever owned.

Another thread in this forum blame the USB port can charge mobile phones, etc. at low specific power and recommend to disable the "always on" option fo this USB port in the Bios settings. I then either it seems to have contributed. At least my laptop still not succeed overnight in mode 'sleep'.

At this point, it seems my ownly option is to use the "sleep mode" only when the laptop is plugged in and the focus mode standby extended when the power of dough, which is disappointing. I've never had to worry about this in the past with other laptops.

  • How can I find Matt PrE12 track file?

    Arrggh...

My question is triggered by the incomparably dark manual, AKA "Tutorial," p. 134:

'Create a transparency with the overlay Cache Track effect

"1. If you haven't already done so, add the matte file to the project: click Add media, and then click files and folders." Navigate to the mat file and click Open. »

    Questions:

    1. WHAT "Matt file?

    2. WHERE is it?

I na not create one, the instructions never mention one creation I have no idea where or what they're talking about.  There is nothing in any menu or drop-down menu I can find in PrE12.  It's a plug-in?  Something that I was alleged to have created at some point?  A part of the pre program which is not anywhere in the part of edition of the program?  Another name for a color matte (doubtful, but any port in a storm)?  I really hate to have to resort to a full search of the computer C: drive just to find something that may or may not be there.

The closest thing is the overlay track matte, found without going through files and folders, but through fx > seized... and that is something different anyway.  And of course the aforementioned color matte, also not found via the files and folders and also an other element (assumed).

Maps to the treasure, GPS coordinates, secret codes, instructions, etc. accepted gratefully...

The "Matte" is created by you. It could be the module of titration of the GER, or perhaps Photoshop/Photoshop Elements. It defines the areas which are 'seen' and the 'hidden', or transparency, of the Matte.

    Hope that helps,

  • 360 13 inches x spectrum: spectrum x 360 8.1 Windows stops to get into sleep after a few hours

My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior.  In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period.  It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours.  It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours.  I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system.  Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it.  He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.

I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep.  I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.

I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site.  Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year.  This has been driving me crazy.  In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer.  If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep.  If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally.  My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft.  This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account.  It will keep your original profile.

Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-performance/Windows-81-refuses-to-sleep-automatically-idle/6ab4aaaf-31bd-4baf-ABC6-62ba8c8260aa?DB=5&page=2&rtAction=1452178632575

I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned.  Microsoft needs to address the issue.  I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.

  • Mackie MCU Pro and Adobe CC

    Hi all

I am currently looking at buying a control surface for use with hearing CC2015 and am leaning toward the Mackie MCU Pro. However, I have read that there are problems with the hearing crashing and suspended all using this control surface but also to lose the tab out of the application connectivity

Could someone from Adobe give me some more information about the support for this device?

I would also like to know if I can program and control specific effects on the surface. For example I can assign a button to open the effect of noise reduction and then adjust with the control surface to apply?

And bandwidth bugs that were present in the version of MIDI (when you adjust several controls at the same time) present in the USB version.

Do you offer using a USB or MIDI interface?

Any information would be welcome, because I can't find information about integration with CC 2015.

Just for your information I will use the device in a MAC Pro environment.

    Thank you!

We have fixed a number of issues with surfaces of control for the upcoming version.  The release date has not been announced publicly, but we showed that the version of the NAB last month.  Control via the Protocol Mackie surfaces have limited ability to control the effects plug-ins or arbitrary, but there should be the stuff of normal volume/pan/transport down pretty well as well as a number of assignable buttons.

EUCON control surfaces have the best support to modify the effect parameters inserted into the track effects rack when you work on a multitrack Session.

When I use the same steps and apply other effects, I have no problem. I have not tried all the available effects, but I thought 10 was a good sample.

I then tried to start a new multitrack project and imported an audio file that is not apparent. The same problem. Single band compressor blocks program. Other effects that I have tried are very good.

I then tried to open the hearing, find a file audio in the media browser and then double-tap, opening just a project of waveform. The same problem. Single band compressor blocks program.

    Any thoughts?

My CC Audition on my Mac OSX was constantly crashing as soon as I applied one of the compressors.

    My solution:

    Uninstal CC.

Reinstall and the settings window where it detects and offers to import the previous preferences, disable the filters and effects, or anything that is causing your problem.

    Solved the problem for me.

  • M/S Mastering

Working with a pre-mix stereo WAV and AA3 tools/effects file, if someone can provide the steps (generic) to create a final master using the M/S Mastering (Mastering Mid) technique.

It is also a suggestion for the Adobe creative team to create a tutorial on the topic of M/S Mastering.

Everything you need to know about the use of M/S mastering techniques can be found in the iZotope Ozone Mastering Guide. And there is no distinction between the generic measures to control - each track is treated on its individual merits.

The basic thing you have to understand, what is the effect of the l/r stereo M/S stereo conversion - everything you can do as a result of this is simply what you can do with processing existing mastering anyway, only on some signals slightly different. Since you have the center channel (M) separated from the difference or the channel side (S), it is possible to vary the width of the stereo field by changing the relative levels of them and also to perform certain operations on each separately. It must be said also rather more these things are possible to Ozone than in hearing, but which is hardly surprising - it was designed to do the job and gets very carefully on the follow-up of the problems you encounter otherwise.

Curiously, there is another a bit of free software that is more useful in this context (works well with hearing) called SHEPPi. This software actually does something that Ozone can not do, and it does rather well - certainly as well as Bob Katz' "K-StΘrΘo" plugin, which cost an absolute fortune.
