Track sorting order problem

Hi all!

After a week of using the rocket, I met the problem with sorting order by artist > album selection.

In MP3Tag tracks for an album like this:

But when you play on Fuze (artist > album selection) the result is:

The last four tracks are listed first on the "rocket".

I tried to manually copy the files in different order (one by one, first copy the track #1, then #2, etc. Finally, copy #17), attempted to change the markup using ISO-8859-1 (see the Sansa clip wire), but nothing works.

Fortunately would appreciate your suggestions if something is wrong with the tags, or I'm doing something wrong.

PS Sorry if it has been discussed before - just failed to find a solution, even if I looked on these forums.

Sorry everyone for taking the trouble - it was my mistake. I have just completely resting on MP3Tag, who, as it turns out, does not show disk # (or at least I have not found where it is shown). So, after reading your suggestions and trying to look in tags in greater depth (in Winamp), I found that the last just tracks have no disk # specified, while others must have as "1/1". Thus, the slopes without a disc number have been listed first in the list of the rocket.

After setting disk # as "1/1" to all tracks, everything is OK.

Thank you all for attention and suggestions!

  • IR saved sort order problem - BUG reports

    We use the Apex 4.0, we use IR reports and have a bunch of saved public reports. Unfortunately, they show in the order that they were saved, not alphabetical. Any ideas?

    I'm this marking as a bug. After several searches, there is a REPORTS_SEQ column that is filled in with the value of 10 for each entry. If you change these values, it has no effect on the results.

  • Sort order for multi-CD audio books

    Hello world. I read through some past discussions on the sorting of tracks and albums and have not been able to solve my problem. I have a 12 CD Audiobook; each CD has 99 tracks (ugh). All are taken from my computer and copied on a 8 GB MicroSDHC card. Sorry for the long post; hoping to capture as much detail as possible. My OS is Win XP. It is a rocket 4 GB with the troublesome file stored on 8 GB MicroSDHC card. Rocket is set to MTP and I moved the files via Windows Explorer... trained on my hard drive to the SDHC card (I did this twice; once while he was in the rocket and once while it is in the card reader).

    I used MP3Tag as follows:

    • File name AND title are on: book title disc 01 track 01, sequential numbering up to book title 01 99 of track record. Then we begin with the title of the book disc 02 track 01, etc all the way as a book drive 12 track 99
    • In MP3Tag, I used the Auto numbering Assistant to number the headings, including leading zeros, as 0001/1188 (this change has been made while the card was in the "rocket"; the first passage to the numbering on the hard disk, added only one zero, and I thought that could be the problem, so I ran the wiz autodial again while the card was in the "rocket").
    • Contributing artist, artist and Album name are the SAME (no drive included number) for each 12 discs... use MP3Tag to achieve
    • Removed the YEAR and the DISCNUMBER using MP3Tag.
    • All tracks are marked by the kind of AUDIO book (again using MP3Tag). They appear in the correct order on the hard drive of my computer, and read the SD via Windows Explorer, they appear in the correct order. However, when I browse audio books on my rocket, the sort order is out of whack. Systematically, it starts with title of book disc 11 track 11, is moving forward to drive 12, 99 of track, then disc 01, track 01. The rest seems to be in the right order.
    • Shots from the top of the window of MP3Tag, the file (in order) as the "rocket" 'sees' the first track (1001 to follow in the order, so it is important) screen my choices of dialogue can be seen here:

    Other audio books are marked in this way and appear in the correct order... but none of the others has more than 9 discs. Thanks for all the ideas. It drives me crazy! : PEI

    Just an update... as suggested by miltst, I made some changes on the base (on my HD) and then copied to the SD card files. The only changes I made were to change the numbering DO NOT track to track the total number of titles; I even added zeros. Once I moved their map SD, the sort order is correct. Hooray! Don't know what did - change the HD or changing the numbering of the beaches, but whatever it is, it works.

    Thank you!

  • How to change the sort order of the items sought for the last element of this research first. I DON'T want to say the order search engines, but the existing research by arrow down

    I want to be able to change the sort order of the items, I already looked in the search box. I want to be able to hit the arrow key down and see my previous searches in order of last search showing the first. For the moment, I don't know how it is sorting and it is very annoying to have to re - enter a query that I typed 5 minutes earlier, but because I typed in another 10 since it's lost somewhere in the list. Is it possible, I Googled, but did not find the topic anywhere. Just to clarify, I DON'T mean of the order of the search engines (which is what appears in google), I mean that the text typed into which has been registered in the drop-down list.

    Thank you

    'Form filling' uses a "frecency" algorithm, frequency + recency, similar to the list of AutoComplete address bar.

    I found an extension that seems relevant, but critics are old, so I'm not sure it's still working: Searchbar Autocomplete Order.

    But... is the AutoComplete does not? I expect that typing a few characters of the previous query would be to filter the list so that you can easily select? Or is the problem that the list does not remember quite who looking for?

  • Sort order of the desktop icon

    I noticed that the sort order for the icons on my desktop is a little strange.  When I sort by alphabetically by name, they go through the alphabet once, then again in alphabetical order.  In other words, there are two sets of icons sorted in alphabetical order.  I had this problem on my previous PC, which ran from Windows XP.  Now that I have a new PC running Vista Home Premium, the problem persists.  Can I have some kind of installation or configuration problem?

    I searched the Knowledge Base Microsoft and the Internet, for this problem, but found nothing.

    Thank you

    El_Abuelo

    What determines what type of folder is assigned a specific icon?  (The shortcut properties seem to indicate that property may have something to do with it.)

    It is normally determined by the installer that created the shortcut in the first place.  Most software publishers are lazy and will place a single shortcut in % PUBLIC%\Desktop, which will appear on the desktop for everyone if you have multiple users.  Unfortunately, if a user removes the shortcut it will disappear from all the world office too.  The solution is to manually copy in all the individual desktop folder and then delete the original.

    All of the shortcuts that you you do it manually (for example, by right - dragging a file to the desktop) will appear in your folder %USERPROFILE%\Desktop and therefore appear to you and not to other users.

    Of course, if you are the only user on this computer, none of the foregoing is of no interest to you.  In this case, if you want everything sorted alphabetically, choose one of the two locations and manually move everything else.  Given that %PUBLIC%\Desktop is most software installation uses, it will probably be the best choice, by remembering that if you manually create the shortcuts, you must manually move them yourself or they will be out of use again.

    Another thing to watch is installers of software that prompts you to install for 'all users' or 'me' (or words to that effect).  The option all users will put the shortcut to the Public folder. the just me option will use your user profile folder.

  • Custom folder settings (details, sort order, etc.) are not persisted

    Do not save the changes I make to my files. If I move the icons on my desktop, the next time I have to disconnect or reset, they're going to order by default/placement (is all concentrated at the top on the left side of the screen). If I change the "details" that appear in a certain folder, or view records or sort order, these details disappear the second I click the folder, click again it in the Navigation pane (or if I close the Windows Explorer window, and then open a new).

    Global settings (from the display of folders in the control panel option) are OK, it's just customizations to records that disappear.

    Is there a way I can force my folder for each folder customizations to persist?

    Compaq Presario CQ57 Notebook PC running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.

    This type of problem with saving settings often indicates a corrupt user profile.  I suggest test you in a different user account (create one if necessary) and see if the same problem occurs or not.

  • EPMA 11.1.2.1 dimension build from FlatFile to EPMA to EssbaseASO using ODI, Member, sort order issues

    We build our EssbaseASO cube using FlatFiles this work who are pushed to EPMA via the interface tables, EPMA Essbase app then is deployed to Essbase, everything is done through an ODI/package interface. The problem I am facing is the order in which members in EPMA appear, even if the FlatFile has the right, sort, at the time where that hierarchies are in the table of interface EPMA that the sort order is changed at random.

    I use the file SQL control add IKM in ODI and somewhere on the way I saw a suggestion to add a new option to insert "ORDER BY" in the IKM. I did it successfully and it has changed the sort order, but is not the correct order (the order in which my flatfile has the dimensions).

    I do not understand why Oracle/ODI needs to randomize the lines without being invited to do! Please let me know if anyone has faced this problem before, and if they have managed to solve.

    EPMA interface tables have a SORTORDER column. Make sure that it is filled with numerical values, sequencing of the order that you want your members to appear in the hierarchies of EPMA and when you import tables interface that this order will be respected. Prior to this function being introduction workaround was to create a view that references the tables interface imposing the required ORDER BY clause, but this is not necessary in 11.1.2.1 just use the SORTORDER column

  • Change the sort order for symbol/button.

    I have a line of buttons (which are near eachother). When you click them they step up big.

    Problem is that the button clicked is not arranged / sorting forward and what lies behind

    other buttons next to him.

    How can I change the sort order (inside the button symbol /) when clicked?

    Hi Claursen,

    This is what I did to reproduce your scenario: -.

    1. on stage, I create a symbol, I created another symbol inside, and inside the nested symbol, I created 3 symbols and names them "btn1", 'btn2', 'btn3.

    2. now, I open the actions of the "btn1" symbol and for the click event, I wrote the following code

    var El = sym.getSymbol("btn1").getSymbolElement ();

    El.CSS ("Transform","Scale (4,4)");

    El.CSS("z-index","1");

    Similarly, I put the code for the click event handler for 'btn2' and 'btn3.

    3.now when I published the file and clicked on one of the three symols, he scaled and was visible in the foreground the other symbols.

    Correct me if this is not the scenario that you call.

  • Dequeue condition causes queue sort order to be ignored

    This question relates to the fact that when a dequeue condition is specified the sort order of the queue can be invoked on:
    Of the 11.2 document "Introduction to Oracle QA:

    "A dequeue condition is expressed in terms of message properties or the content of the message and is similar to the syntax for the WHERE clause of a SQL query." Messages in the queue are assessed based on the State and the messages that meet the given condition are returned. When using a dequeue, removed from the order of messages condition is indeterminate, and the sort order of the queue is not honored. »

    I have a problem - I'm interested in consumers of respondent data certain selection criteria, but want to get this qualification given in the order of the oldest first (ENQ_TIME). If specifying the dequeue condition means that the order is unpredictable so it is not acceptable.

    I recognize that I could solve the problem by using the queue MULTIPLE_CONSUMER in which subscriptions are added with the rules for each possible consumer. The problem is that the volatility of the pool of consumption is relatively high and a solution is sought requires no adjustment properties of the queue.

    Am I missing something? i.e. misinterpretting this restriction?
    Someone else took up this challenge and found a technique to solve this problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

    The note needs modified to indicate that the event changes how dequeue via a deq_condition or done by the works of correlation id by adding another order by clause. If the 'impact' performance is localized to these stops and nothing else.

    There are a number of customers who have implemented this in production environments and are perfectly happy with it. Have you tried this event in a test environment?

    Thank you

  • Any way to restore last manual sort order or prevent to be overwritten accidentally?

    Help!

    I'm constantly accidentally overwrite created carefully manually sort order (sometimes hours but more often months of accumulated work) in folders with file numbering up to 1,000, when I have, however, in short, switch to another sort order (size, date modified etc.) to check something, forget immediately that I am in a different sort order and without thinking (actually, I guess I think about a lot of other things) drag a file to another position, it destroyed immediately after hand sorting, I established, overwhelming with this new hands-on inadvertently.

    I tried CommandZ (modif cancel) but that only cancels my latest rating or labelling, I rushed to force quit bridge through the montior activity in the hope I will catch him before his crushed, but obviously I'm not as fast as a computer, and I don't think it has always worked.

    Is there a way or any script that someone wrote to officially record a manual sort order? Is there something that I missed in an attempt to restore? Has anyone, foiled repeatedly by the present, writes something that could give a warning and I will confirm say for example, if I tried to drag or move a file while in a different sort order (this seems to be something that must have existed the minute has been given the opportunity to create an organisation manual). Anyone would be willing to?

    Seriously, forget me almost everytime won't change and more dilapidated, it has even happened when I didn't spend anything that clumsy momentarily while in a different sort order. I think that most people could forget because that (in the context of the computer), we are conditioned to expect one caveat if something that we just created is about to be overwritten or discarded, and since there is no option to save a manual ranking officially we just created.

    Also, if it was in the real world, moving a single file would not overhaul everything on your desktop. If I had the ability to save a manual organization officially I WON'T forget to do and would use, I wanted one every time I spent some time rearrange files. Knowing how easy, it is every hour (much less months and years of cumulative work) for organization's work can be accidentally lost makes working within unpleasantly anxious bridge.

    I am literally ready to do anything , including the installation of some scripts from 3rd party summary (but honestly I have no idea what that means or how to do it). Extentively, I use and rely heavily on this feature, so it is the heel of a pretty serious Achilles. It's like watching your team meticulously built collapse of the House of cards with a sigh imprudent, but innocent, or as having the equivalent of a cat not even charming dance on your keyboard for a live concert, etc etc...

    Also it is not usually appropriate, given the context, batch rename all to preserve a control sequence numbers w manual, etc. Often the names of files are significantly (but necessarily, to evoke significant differences) since a long time already and when I have to rearrange things in the future would be obliged to do that every time, etc., etc., for even more heavy filenames which had no background information at the beginning. I'm looking for a way to make this function (manual sort order), well, more functional, safe and stable, workarounds I considered as cause too many additional problems.

    I thank in advance for any help, you may be able to offer, and as this is my first attempt to use forums that I vivre living on a boat without a regular net access, appreciate all corrections forum etiquette and excuses for misspellings, Dyslexic and spell check doesn't seem to work in this interface. next time will change in program external wordprocessing beforehand,

    PPS I know that most of you all could run the newest and later of everything, but I'm fairly certain that it is still a problem in recent versions, as has happened to me at school where all Macs are running cs5. But if it is remedied somehow in cs6 update suite together just to fix this a Bridge. I tried a lot of research and found nothing relevant or does not bother the considerable expertise and resources of an official forum, was extremely reluctant to ask (dreaded is broken in for pinout unintentionally etiquette forum), but it truly is the bane of my existence of significant bridge, so was willing to risk the imaginary censure and opprobrium...

    It of a good question, for it requires two functions and a reboot of the bridge all done automagically

    Copy and paste the script in ExtendScript Toolkit
    It is installed with Photoshop and you will find: -.
    PC: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe utility
    MAC: /Applications/Utilities/Adobe utilities

    Starting point
    PC: Edition - Preferences - Startup Scripts
    Mac: Startup menu - Preferences - Adobe Bridge Scripts

    At the bottom, click on the 'reveal' button it will open the folder where the script should be saved.

    Close and restart Bridge.
    Accept the new script.

    To use:
    Tools - backup sort manually
    It backs up the hidden file manually sort. BridgeSort to. BridgeSortSave

    Tools - restore manually sort
    This copierait the. BridgeSortSave back to BridgeSort and will close and restart of the bridge so that the manual sorting is restored.

    if( BridgeTalk.appName == "bridge" ) {
    var backUpManSort = new MenuElement( "command","Backup Manual Sort", "at the end of Tools" , "backupms" );
    var RestoreManSort = new MenuElement( "command","Restore Manual Sort", "at the end of Tools" , "restorems" );
    }
    backUpManSort.onSelect = function () {
    var fileSort = new File(app.document.presentationPath +"/.BridgeSort");
    var fileSave = new File(app.document.presentationPath +"/.BridgeSortSave");
    if(fileSave.exists) fileSave.remove();
    fileSort.copy(fileSave);
    fileSave.hidden=true;
    }
    RestoreManSort.onSelect = function () {
    var fileSort = new File(app.document.presentationPath +"/.BridgeSort");
    var fileSave = new File(app.document.presentationPath +"/.BridgeSortSave");
     if(!fileSave.exists){
     alert("No backup file exists");
     return;
     }
    app.document.sorts = [{ type:"string",name:"document-kind", reverse:false }];
    if(fileSort.exists) fileSort.remove();
    fileSave.copy(fileSort);
    fileSort.hidden=true;
    app.document.chooseMenuItem("mondo/command/new");
    app.documents[0].close();
    app.document.sorts = [{ name:"user",type:"date", reverse:false }];

  • LR4: Incorrect sort order?

    Hello

    yesterday, I saw a problem in LR4 I do not exactly understand: when I do an import of video files from my camera to lightroom via the Import of LR, these files are sorted in the wrong way.

    Should be the sort order: Ascending by date (I don't know the exact term I use the German version)

    What's happening: all files imported by other software and brought to LR by "synchronize...". "are OK. The date and time of the files imported directly by LR are also OK. But the files are displayed at the beginning of the page and not, as expected, in other files.

    What I did to solve this problem (not a good way but works for now): I rename all files "YYYY_MM_DD_HH_MM_SS-...". "and sort by file name.

    Is there a solution for this problem?

    Thank you

    Matthias

    Try to 'Change the capture time' without actually modifying the time. Just click on change. Try this with a single file in a first time, I'm not sure it will work.

    Hi, I think that this may be an optimizer bug 10g or flaw optimizer 10 g, although substr (name, 0, 3) = 'salt' is not selective, but oracle can also use indexes to find the top 10 by object_name result order

    Jinyu,

    Indeed, it seems to be a gap in the mode of optimization 10.2 FIRST_ROWS_n. I could reproduce your problem in 10.2.0.4 and watching the 10053 trace, it looks like that the optimizer does not consider the option "Recost for ORDER (with the HELP of indexes)" where you have a composite index based function. It does when using a 'normal' composite index, and it does - as you mentioned - when using the main column in the ORDER BY expression as well. You don't need to use INDEX indicator in this case, moreover, the recosting for ORDER BY then works very well and chooses the index without specified indicators.

    11 g the "recalculate for ORDER BY" appears again in the first place it looks like an obvious limitation / bug of 10.2.0.3/4 at least.

    Kind regards

  • Add line to pagination sorting tabular problem

    Hello

    I have a problem with a tabular presentation that has various sortable columns. If the user tries to add a line when the sort order is set to something where possibly NULL values are that appears first in the list, so the user cannot enter data (since the last results page still appears after clicking on the button Add a line).

    I know that the blank record is listed somewhere, since the number of pages in pagination is increased by 1, but it is impossible for the user to enter data on this issue since the passage home pages then deletes the empty record. How can I fix? Is it possible to programmatically reset all sort columns?

    See you soon!

    Hello

    Levels of sorting in the reports are stored as user preferences - it can be removed using PL/SQL. Take a look to: need to do the SORTING of columns only when I click on the column header and Re: placement works does not in reports of paging and default sorting

    Or, you can try adding an empty line in your SQL statement itself: problems with "add a line"

  • is there a sort order global for all folders?

    I have a lot of mail files, and I want them all to sort of the same way. However I can't find a way to set the sort order in the world, only individually per-folder. Is there a global sort order?

    Are you familiar with the configuration of Thunderbird Editor?

    If you change the wrong setting, or the incorrect value, you can make unusable Thunderbird, but if you're very careful...
