  Activation congratulatory messages that you received on your BlackBerry smart phone mean that email Service books were re sent to your BlackBerry Smartphone.

  An icon of electronic mail can become visible again as long as new service books were received by the BlackBerry smartphone or because of the theme settings.

  Help! A couple of days, some of my text messages start to duplicate.  If I delete one I'll delete them all and I don't want to do that for some, nobody knows what I did to cause this and how can I stop the double and triple messages about the same thing?

  Probably, this could help-Try your BB battery pull reboot and then try to delete a single text message.

  I'm getting used to my Blackberry Curve 9360, but when I turn on my phone, two or three times a day, all emails and messages show the time that I turned on my phone and not the moment where they were sent.   Text messages are managed by your carrier. I can only suggest to use a client of sms 3rd party like SMSCrunch. Maybe, that can give you the time, it was sent or received.

  You can also ask your carrier for the same information and whether they can send it to you (some of my friends who make heavy texting, have asked their carriers send delivery times with their bills.)

  I think you can try two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

  Soft reboot:
  1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
  -Alt
  -Right shift
  -Remove
  (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

  Hard reboot:
  (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
  (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
  (3) replace the battery
  (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

I can't find it.  I have Outlook 2003 at home and have a Blackberry Tour 9630 with Verizon.  After reading an e-mail message in Outlook, he removes my BlackBerry (the messages have not been removed in Outlook).  If I understand correctly, if I delete a message from Outlook... it will still remove my BlackBerry.  What setting should I change in Outlook or Blackberry to keep the emails I read (but don't delete) into Outlook on my Blackberry.

  The change is made in OUTLOOK.

  (1) go to the account you are using, (TOOLS/CHOICE of ACCOUNT) and double-click the account in which you make the change.

  2) click on "ADDITIONAL SETTINGS".

  3) click on the "ADVANCED" tab

  (4) place a check in the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server."

  You can choose to delete (or not) of your Blackberry.

  I hope too... but it's a service and the service of your operator, Alltel (or Verizon?) that hosts your voicemail service. It is not hosted ON BlackBerry or through the services of BlackBerry.

  Normally, a user calls their own voicemail and is given the choice to directors on their voicemail account, record personal greetings, etc.

  My Gmail and Blackberry Sync works perfectly except for one area.  When I delete messages in Gmail via my web browser they do not delete through synchronization on the Blackberry.  How can I fix?  It's extremely frustrating clean 30 emails to my office, only to find them all again on my BB when I hit the road.

  Anyone know if it is possible to archive text messages on your PC and be able to read from the PC?  I have a LOT of text messages and it slows down the recovery on the phone.  I need to download the messages on my PC, but not in IPD format.  I would like to either download them in a spreadsheet format or just a straight word which are easily accessible doc.

  Ok. The lock screen message is designed to be visible when the password lock, not locked keyboard.
